wow where do I even begin worst customer service ever . I'm sure he was the owner. my mom and i ordered a molcajete that was absolutely not a molcajete price was set at around 50$ which I do not mind spending the money is what is being sold to me I been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one by far wins the top of the cherry he was super rude when I said it did not look good or cooked all the way chicken do not look cook all the way I been there a few times never had an issue instead of him fixing the issue it definitely escalated the issue and he said I could not leave until I atleast pay half like wow I was shocked I did also see him clearing out the tables before my food came and he was saving the salsas that were in containers and that was a shock to me too I mean i dont work at a restaurant but I expect everything to be cleaned and not served to others regardless if the salsas were opened by the previous people or not that absolutely has to be thrown in the trash because I m the type that opens dips here n there and closes them back up now I'm questioning how many times this guy has done this but the fact that he could have offered me something else he was so upset that I did not want to give him half he then tells me o can't leave I said or else I offered to pay for the chips and salsa that I ate and the water w lemon I got so I got up told him I'm sorry but absolutely not i will not pay for something that I know it is not cooked nor looks appealing he then goes outside and starts taking pictures I'm the one that should have recorded him clearing out tables and saving salsas from the previous customers that is disgusting will never go back there again im hoping others see this review and pay attention to him and what he does but who knows he might be saving leftovers in the back anyhow definitely he could have gone a different route and I should have been a happy customers eap because it was my mom and I day of hanging out read more

This is an experience nobody wants to see the person that is handling your food that she is being like no stoping scratching her head, applied ointment to her mouth with her fingers and another person (the owner of the restaurant) picking his nose when I tried to cancel my food because I didn't want to eat there no more the so cold owner said that I have to pay for the food because it was already made I refused to pay but sadly my son paid the whole check just because we were his parents customers for 18 or so years This people doesn't have any common sense that they gotta keep their hands clean and the hair up if they want to serve food I can't imagine what they do in the back where we can't see anything read more

Service is on point! It's a small setting which makes it feel like your at a family members house. The waiter and cook know what they are doing when it comes down to the food and especially the drinks. They creep up on you, in a good way. Price is a bit on the high side when it comes to drink but well worth it. I would return and I would recommend. read more

Wet carne asada burrito very salty and no flavor, asada chopped so fine hard to distinguish from rice. Cheese enchilada was flavorful not very small, tosta pescadoro there more tomatoes, onion and cucumber than fish no real fish flavor. So fairly disappointing. read more

Food is good. They have homemade tortillas. Service is exceptionally slow, at least it was today. It took about 50 minutes for them to bring out our food. There were two other people in the restaurant beside our table of 6 and 5 of us ordered the same thing. They also never offered to refill our drinks. Review is coming in late, probably about a year late so maybe things have changed. But I've had multiple people recommend this place, have been twice and very disappointed both times. First time order tacos and ceviche as the tacos came recommended. While the meat portion on the tacos was very generous, the flavor was non existent. The waitress brought me a bottle of ketchup before the food came out and confused I asked what it was for? She said the ceviche. ??? I am not used to having ketchup in ceviche ever, but figure whatever I won't use it. The ceviche came and already had ketchup in it and was basically ketchup, fish, cilantro salad. Easily the worst ceviche I've ever had. But my tastes could be different than others. The second time a coworker swore up and down they have the best chilaquiles. I love the dish but hate when the come out soggy. Figured I'd give it a shot and order them and they come out extra crispy. Came here on a whim ordered a carne asada plate, torta de asada, and 3 tacos de asada. Got seated right away and had amazing service throughout our dining. The food was amazing being that we're located in LA this was some of the best Mexican food we've had in a while. Easy to miss but those are the spots that may be hidden gems. I was right. A shinning star in terms of really delicious food. The deco is simple but very clean. The staff is very nice. I had a milinesa torta and...WOW!..... Fantastic... I tried other menu items and they were very good as well. Everything was fresh. I've been there a few times and look forward to going back.
