For quick Mexican style food, Azteca is decent. Service is good, portions are traditional Mexican style, ingredients are good, beware of pricing. Menu prices are not what they charge on the ticket and the drinks like many places are overpriced. Had menudo and burrito for lunch and was nice option. We got the chilaquiles divorciados and the birria combo, and boy was this so good! Probably one of the best chilaquiles I've had so far! The chips are sauced to perfection; sauce is so flavorful and has nice kick of spice they have that nice balance of crunch and softness. The birria melts in your mouth and pairs nicely with the handmade tortillas. The service was quick and the people working here are attentive and friendly. Definitely a casual spot to come and enjoy a delicious meal, they have the jams playing in the background.

This place is soo damn good. Never had a dish I didn't like. Even their rice and beans hit. Ok so their Birria is my personal AV fave- delicious, super flavorful. Love a good cheese enchilada in red sauce, theirs is excellent. Oh and they have hand made tortillas!! Service was good, and the place is simple. My go to for some authentic Mexican.

I love this place. I grew up eating great Mexican food and this place comes close to home cooking for me. The best item on the menu, in my opinion, are the chilaquiles divorciados. They are a 10/10!!! The customer service is always great. The owner is always super friendly and welcoming and they always play great music!! A hidden gem in the AV.

This place was so good. We went two nights while staying in Palmdale. The first night I didn't get to get a picture before I cleared my plate. The second night I made sure I did for this review. The guy who took our order was so kind and made sure we got all we wanted, including all salsas and handmade tortillas! The pepino agua Fresca was glorious too!

We are very disappointed in our order with Azteca! We decided to order the food via Postmates. We requested in our order to get salsa (which should be a no brainer in Mexican food as it compliments the food) and received NO salsa. So we had to eat our burrito and taco with Tapatio which is unfortunate when you spend over $50 on a burrito, two tacos and a Birria plate. Then our birria came with tortillas which had a green like mold on them! We are dissatisfied with our order, the service although the food tasted okay it would have been better with fresh tortillas and salsa. This is not the first time they provided an order with no salsa and this time we have chosen to never again dine with them as they have shown to have no regards for their costumers! If you want to enjoy a good quality Mexican place and have no issues, it's best to try some where else when there's so many in town.

Just ordered through uber eats for dinner tonight. I got the Birria plate with rice and beans, and it came with hand made corn tortillas. My boyfriend got the wet burrito and two street tacos. A little disappointed in the service, as we requested extra red and green salsa and only received one of each. They gave me a lot of meat, however it was a little bland and also badly needed salt. Also the meat was a little fattier than I like. My boyfriend liked his pollo tacos, but found the asada chewy. The handmade tortillas were really good. Either way, I'll be willing to give this place another chance.

Chilaquiles $19- they were ok, The meat and eggs were too greasy.

First thing I noticed when I walked in was that the floor needed some cleaning. Friendly waitress My chilaquiles was ok, I didn't eat the meat nor the eggs because they were greasy. My partner said the asada tacos were good, tortillas were good.

We had visited once before for dinner and loved the food, so when we needed a quick breakfast before work, we knew exactly where to go. We arrived around 9 a.m. and were greeted right away with friendly smiles. The restaurant was very clean, and we were told to sit wherever we liked. We ordered the menudo, a sopes plate with rice and beans, and a breakfast burrito. They also brought complimentary chips and salsa to the table. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The menudo was especially delicious and was served with fresh cilantro, onions, and lemons. The sopes were excellent, and every dish tasted homemade and well prepared. What really stands out about El Mora is the service. Everyone who works there is friendly, upbeat, and welcoming. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed, and we never felt rushed. The atmosphere was pleasant, with great music playing overhead. Although the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, within about 15 minutes it had filled up, which says a lot about how popular this place is. Excellent food, excellent service, and a very clean restaurant. We will definitely continue coming back whenever we're on that side of town. Highly recommended!

There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else for a special occasion ever again.
