Great time! Came in for drinks. Good cocktail menu and better prices than most nearby! Service was supreme. So grateful for such mind servers. Great location, laid back feel. Some outdoor seating, some bar seating. Great casual neighborhood vibes.

Just happened to be in Valencia on May 5th, and needed to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, so was looking for restaurants to go to and found Azul Tequila, and away we went! Had a dog with us, and Azul welcomed animals on the patio, so we were seated right away and started off with an appetizer and drinks. The margaritas were flavorful, and a decent size, so definitely can't complain. The nachos were also pretty good, though the enchilada sauce made some of the chips overly soggy, which no one likes. For entrees, we tried a few. The California burrito was tasty, stuffed with al pastor meat, guac, fries, cheese, etc. Just a nice bite. The asada burrito, not as great, definitely should have asked for the sauce on the side (she lives and learns). And the fajitas looked delicious but the meat was a little on the drier side internally, so they weren't memorable outside of that dryness. Staff was great, food was ok, but can recommend the California burrito and the nachos (ask for less enchilada sauce), but you can skip the asada burrito and fajitas. Definitely grab a couple margaritas though!

Food was good. Staff welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Ambiance bright, colorful, cheerful. Nice booths with table lamps. We went with friends on a Friday night and no one rushed us out. The chili verde burrito with green sauce was super good. My husband enjoyed his Bandera trio of enchiladas, my friends said the margaritas were on point. We would return!

!!!SKIP!!!! This was the nearest dinner spot from our hotel, so we gave it a chance. I was aware of the reviews but I chose to ignore them and give it a try.. wish I wouldn't have. The food was super oily and tasted like it had gone bad. The rice was very dry and beans looked unappetizing. After eating 1 taco my stomach started hurting. Also, getting our check took way too long, I just wanted to leave because it was getting me nauseous. The restaurant also needs upgrades, and I wish there was only one thing playing. There were lots of TV's playing different things and then they had music playing. In my opinion it was too much.

Another great happy hour experience topped off with a birthday celebration dessert. The entire staff are so very friendly and accommodating. We started our celebration outside but it proved to be too hot so they moved us inside. Everything we have had at each visit has been fresh, scrumptious and more than enough food. Still a great Mexican restaurant choice.

4+ came out to meet some family in this area to go to Magic Mountain. This place was located across the street from the hotel they were staying at. I got into the area a little early so I came here to kill some time and drink some beers and tequila. Just note that I did not eat any food here on my visit - it was only for drinks. The vibe here was pretty chill on a Friday night. I sat at the bar right away and was helped by some friendly bartenders. They got a really good selection of tequilas and a solid selection of beers and other spirits. Parking was super easy to find as the lot was pretty big and the place wasn't super busy. Just a nice chill spot to grab a drink (or most likely food as well) and very conveniently located for people coming into to town for Magic Mountain.

We ended up here because my fiancé was craving carne asada with corn tortillas, rice, and beans, and we're glad we did! The atmosphere is really nice, with cool artwork and decorative touches that give the place a great vibe. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The complimentary chips were amazing, perfectly seasoned with a flavorful zesty dusting that I couldn't quite put my finger on (perhaps chile lime), paired with a tasty bean dip. I had the al pastor torta with a side salad and cilantro dressing that was fresh and absolutely delicious! The margarita and steak tacos combo was also good. We'll definitely be back to try the lunch special!

1st class Mexican food options. Good tequila selection. Comfortable searing with glass between booths. Has a bar area and restaurant seating area. The food was good, the service was excellent. Will wait for 2nd visit to upgrade to 4 stars.. They have lunch specials. We will be back.

    Receta de la Abuela

I came here after a trip to Six Flags and I really enjoyed it. I ordered a Receta de la Abuela and split an order of fish ceviche. The restaurant was bustling and service was good. Our server treated us very well. Chips, salsa, and bean dip came complimentary. They were absolutely fantastic. The bean dip is extremely good and the chips are above average since they are seasoned. The seasoning reminds me of the Cool Ranch doritos. The red salsa was classic, but didn't stand out like the bean dip did. This was so good that we got seconds. The ceviche is good and comes with some airy tostadas. My main entree was also perfect. It's well portioned and everything is balanced. I like the vegetables and how the dish isn't over salted. I especially appreciate the cheese under the refried beans.

I just came here for the first time and loved it! It's very clean, great decor, food was excellent and our server Alicia was amazing. She greeted us with a smile, was extremely pleasant and genuine. They have a good lunch special and I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Chris

Everything was cooked too perfection, extremely flavorful and it came out very fast. Amazing service. After dinner, we stayed because the DJ was playing absolute bangers!!!!! The bar staff all were so kind and friendly. I never felt more welcome from staff like that before. They have this super cool menu of cocktails that are inspired by the pool balls numbers! I was able to tried them all, and the number 5 ball Whiskey Sour is my personal favorite! A close second is their Break, Run, Repeat cocktail! Definitely give those a try. We got to play both pool and darts. Their tables are in such nice condition, well taking care of and they are all diamond tables. The break room gave me a amazing night out with my friends. I never been to a place like this before. I can't think of one negative thing to say, my visit here was pure fun. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town, and hoping OC gets a place like this soon.

Their Sweet Sally is a very nice, simple seltzer to which customers can add a flavored syrup, but I enjoyed it plain. the 7.3% ABV was a perfect delight and refreshing on this warm SCV night. Plenty of room to hunker down, spread out, group tables for your 10 besties, or belly up to the bar. We brought grub from Capriotti's, others had The Stand, and others grabbed some tacos outside. I really enjoy the freedom of a simple brewhouse allowing food. I think it improves the casual hang vibe a LOT! The taco tent, and I suppose the other rotating food vendors, set up in the cul-de-sac, about 50 yards away, not right outside. JUST OUTSIDE is plenty of free parking. After looking thru their page, we decided we wanted to give this place a try. They had a week full of events. This particular Sunday, they advertised "bring your own picnic". The staff was really nice. I'm not drinking right now, but the people I went with do. I asked for non-alcoholic and was glad to know they had a few options. I tried the Free Wave Hazy IPA by Athletic Brewing Co. Soooo tasty. I would give this place 3.5 starts but I'll round it up to 4 stars. The reason being: there was no vibes. For being St. Patty's day weekend...and from seeing their page. Vibes were definitely lacking. Not sure what the rest of my party had, but they seemed to like beer they had. I know I enjoyed mine. They have a nice interior build-out with a huge wine bar, but it was a nice evening and we elected to sit on their spacious patio. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Sarah, who is the bartender and also manages a couple of nights a week for the owner. Sarah is super friendly, explained the menu and provided great table service. They have a large wine selection. My wife ordered a chardonnay and I stuck with an Arnold Palmer. We ordered their bruschetta appetizer, served as six pieces of toasted bread and the expected toppings. It was a perfect start to our meal. We were not super hungry, and selected a three-cheese charcuterie board. You are able to select your cheeses, and Sarah again helped us make our decision. It was perfect for a summer-weather afternoon (although in March) and we chatted, had our drinks and picked at the board until it was gone. During our meal, Sarah was very attentive to our needs. My wife tried another chard, and we ordered their banana dessert, which had great flavor and was a nice end to the meal. This is a great place to quietly enjoy some wine, beer and food. Well, I have been to all of the above and I am telling you, you would be missing out on a one of a kind, out of this world experience that can be had any day of the week at Kindred Spirits, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency. No, I didn't expect it to come anywhere close to the stratospheric experiences you could have were you to choose any wine bar you fancied, but, the minute I got inside, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience that I will want to repeat. First of all, it's downright beautiful. Flawlessly decorated with a chic living room vibe with just the right elements to suggest a curated museum-level sensibility. See my pictures as well as all the others here on Yelp. I spent the entire time noticing little details like the plush velvet banquet, the clubby wing back arm chairs, the art deco artefacts and furnishings, paintings, sculptures, even the ceiling lights were unique and obviously carefully selected. And then there is the stupefying wine and spirits menu that goes on and on. I rarely drink anything alcoholic but I couldn't pass up a taste of one of the exquisite sparkling wines that caught my eye. There is a full range of everything. If you really must have beer, it's there, but! For heaven's sake, try something elevated -- ask for recommendations. You won't be disappointed. However, the star of the entire experience is the menu. Now, remember, I am a lifelong vegetarian. I had fun limiting myself to four choices -- I could have had more were I not on a perpetual diet. You can see what we ordered in my photographs. Each dish was superb, really, first in class. Nonetheless, take a good look at my photographs of the Autumn Apple Tarte -- it is the g.o.a.t., believe me. Not only did it taste celestial but notice the tiny flowers? The chef, Priscilla, is a highly skilled and trained artist, her medium just happens to be delicately flavored and arranged plates of heaven. And Sarah, our attendant took a concierge approach to caring for us. A cosmopolitan playlist provided a lyrical backdrop that just made everything flow like silk. Parking is easy, simply use the Hyatt Convention Center parking lot adjacent to a verdant golf course or their garage, for free. There are two main rooms and we asked for the "lobby"-like large room with a giant table that we had all to ourselves, given we were there in the late afternoon on a Sunday. Even so, clientele were coming and going. It was the golden hour and we were draped in a warm light and cozy but uplifting spirit. The entire experience was flawless. And the tab? Ridiculously reasonable. You may not be headed to Rodeo or Saint-Germain-des-Prés or West 27th street any time soon. So, instead, treat yourself to this epic wine bar. You will thank me, when you do.
