I tried this new French restaurant in Beverly Hills for my friend's birthday dinner and our experience here was good. The interior was beautiful and clean with both outdoor and indoor seating. We came on a Thursday night, so the restaurant wasn't really busy and they were able to accommodate our party of 9 easily. To share, we had the following dishes: -Pain: The variety of french breads were warm, crispy, and good! Pretty easy to eat. I also like the presentation of cutting the fennel leaves into the oil. The butter was hard though, so I wish we were given softer butter. -Carpaccio de Bar: Pretty good fish carpaccio. It was tangy and fresh. I wish there were less orange rind bitterness notes though. -Gigli Aux Truffles: My favorite dish of the night. I loved the creamy and savory flavor of the truffle pasta and it felt light which I liked. I do wish the pasta had more of an al dente texture, but it was still good. -Petits Farcis: My first time trying this Nice dish and it was pretty good! I enjoyed the meat-stuffed veggies which were cooked well, juicy, and flavorful. The rice pilaf was soft and flavorful, but tasted and felt cheap. -Steak Frites: This dish was a bit disappointing. We ordered the steak at medium, but it was a bit chewy. The fries were also fried too much and were a bit hard. My vegan friend was also given the wrong dish which wasn't ideal. However, the staff made sure to get her the correct dish and not charge her for the other one. They also gave us a lot of free alcohol which was nice. I'd say the drinks here were pretty good. They were sweet and enjoyable. Overall, a solid experience here. I wouldn't come out of my way to dine here again, but I would be down to maybe try the brunch menu here.

After a little shopping day with my baby girl, we stopped by Azur Beverly Hills for an early dinner, and it was the perfect choice. Their weekday prix fixe menu is such a great value--2 courses for just $35--and the food was great. If you're in Beverly Hills and looking for a delicious dinner this deal is absolutely worth checking out.

When I arrived to this wonderful establishment I was greeted properly by the employees! The live Dj was there playing music as I was waiting on my food! The ambiance of the place was truly amazing, worth another visit in my humble opinion!! They made sure to ask questions also checking in and attentive and if you're in the area, you can't miss it. I sat outside so it was a BEAUTIFUL VIEW! Live band played while you were outside, it all felt intentional! Excellent food, Excellent customer service, all of it was clean and put together. Again worth and another one again, thank you Yelp and the professionals here at AZUR BEVERLY HILLS

Azur Beverly Hills is a restaurant offering cuisine of the Côte d'Azur, or French Riviera. Located on the east side of Beverly Hills, Azur offers very high quality food, impeccable service, and a trendy upscale atmosphere at appropriately upscale prices. I brought my family including three children on Memorial Day. We were greeted and seated promptly. The hostess and waiter welcomed us, made recommendations, and showed us the specials. It is perhaps a little usual for an upscale restaurant like this to get young children but the hospitality team was very welcoming, sharing a kids option (not on the menu) and making suggestions for portion sizes. We started with the pain ($12, bread) which included several pieces of fresh baked bread with good variety and creamy butter. The kids pasta ($22) was an absolutely perfect butter noodles with al dente pasta. It feels odd saying this but this is probably the best buttered pasta the kids and I ever had. Following was the Seabass special ($160) a whole fish and side salad (see photo). The fish was cooked perfectly, buttery, soft, and carved tableside. Here is where the service really took off however: the waitstaff, delighted by our children and noticing their trepidation looking at a whole fish with beady eyes, welcomed our two older daughters to carve the fish themselves, walking them through the process and leading to some adorable photos. The asparagus ($12) side was great as well. The interior is upscale and breezy, appropriate for the cuisine, and impeccably clean. While the final price tab for the evening ($300 including drinks and tip) is high, it is not too out of touch from what one would expect for this level of haute cuisine in Beverly Hills. I do not see many reviews for Azur - is it the noveau French in Beverly? If so, bienvenue! You gave my family a wonderful experience and I recommend it highly to anyone looking for great dining and peerless service. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Value: 3.5/5

Date night walk around BH for a change of pace and found this little gem ready for 2, bar seating. For those who know, this is the best service experience you can find at almost any restaurant. The food was terrific. We enjoyed 5 apps & sides and a main: the spaghettini. The texture of fresh pasta is distinct and different from dried pasta. The freshness really sings in this dish. We already know the items we will order next, and the ones that earned a repeat performance. Thank you Azur! I'm excited you're here.

Had a beautiful dinner with girlfriends at Azur! The ambiance is fantastic - great indoor vibe and live music playing. The food was wonderful. We especially loved the truffle pasta, the octopus, and the butter lettuce salad. The sea bass was good overall, but a small portion. The lavender creme brûlée was also a big hit. Service was amazing. Our waiter was kind and attentive. The hosts were also great and made sure that we got a table we were comfortable at. I will definitely be going back!

We went for brunch Sunday, people are really nice, and the restaurant is stunning! Love all the details, wood, fabric, everything makes you feel you are in a fancy restaurant in South of France! And the food was delicious! Best steak frites I had in LA! My friend keep saying his french toasts was incredible, and my other friend loved his burger! The musical ambience was great too! Always nice to have a live band serenade you in French ;) ! I highly recommend it!!!

I had such a lovely dinner at Azur Beverly Hills. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service was warm and attentive, and every dish we tried was delicious. My favorites were the steak, grilled octopus, the pavlova dessert, and the margarita. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Azur for a special dinner in Beverly Hills.

Azur Beverly Hills just opened a few weeks ago, and I came here for a friend's birthday dinner with eight girls. The decor is beautiful, and the restaurant definitely has a lot of buzz. They had a ribbon cutting with the city, so I was curious to check it out. One thing to know: for parties over six people, you have to choose their three-course set menu. The portions are adjusted for the group, but the required set menu felt a little odd at first. What we ordered: Pissaladière, Salade Niçoise, Poitrine de Poulet, Pavé de Saumon Grillé, Frites, Purée de Pommes de Terre, Crème Brûlée à la Lavande, and Tarte Tropézienne. The best dish of the night was definitely Poitrine de Poulet the battered chicken -- honestly, one of the best battered chickens I've ever had. I would come back just for that. The vibe really turns up after 8:30 PM. By the time we left before 10, people were lining up outside, and the restaurant felt more like a dinner-to-nightlife spot. They had a live DJ and saxophone player, which made the energy fun and lively. So if you're looking for dinner with a nightlife vibe, this is a great choice. If you want a quiet romantic dinner, not here. Service was mostly good for a new open though it definitely was very busy on that Saturday night.

Great experience! The oysters were very fresh, the steak and lobster pasta were both perfect, and the dessert was amazing. The service was excellent, and the live DJ added a fun atmosphere. Beautiful French restaurant in Beverly Hills, definitely recommend!

Our server was extremely polite and the entire design of the restaurant is really beautifully done and is the sort of place where you would want to spend a lot of time. It's quite large on the inside with a full bar and many different seating areas and an outdoor seating area as well. It is very classy and is a great place for a date or dinner with friends. I started off with a Beef Tartare and thought it was fantastic. It had a lot of mustard flavor to it, which is a personal preference of mine and every bit about it was just very nice. I was in Las Vegas the week prior and tried a few French restaurants out there and this was one of the better versions I've had recently. For my entrée I chose the Wild Seabass and that too was fantastic. It was cooked perfectly, had a great crisp to it, and every bit about it was delicious. We ended with dinner with the Roasted Banana Triffle and that too was amazing. It was sweet, but not overly so and was a great end to the meal. I would strongly suggest this place to anyone.

It took approximately 30 minutes for it to arrive even though the restaurant and bar were not busy. The drink had fine crushed ice in it, which definitely isn't "classic" and it was watered down considerably when it was served. I ordered a classic Manhattan and selected my preferred rye. When it was served, it was frothy. Was it blended? Who would do that? It was also icy as if it had been blended with ice? As with the martini, it was watered down. The food was very good. My guest ordered bouillabaisse and she said it was excellent. I ordered lamb. It was very good. The service was friendly but slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The disappointing cocktails and slow service seriously detracted from our experience.

The decor was modern chic on the outside and the inside decor was different on the inside- hipster cafe with quotes. The food itself was unbelievable! The pricing is on the higher side but worth it given the taste! We had bone marrow which had a nice buttery flavor; the Beef bourguignon was tender and well flavored; and their house special Black cod (available only for one week) was so flavorful and cooked delicately that it melted in our mouths! It was the best fish we ever tasted and we didn't even know fish could taste like that!!! We also recommend the mango passionfruit lemonade. Not too sweet and tasted very fresh. We also thought it was one of the best and freshest lemonade we ever tasted! The sole ripped from the bottom and was hanging by a thread. As the valet went to get me duct tape, a woman from the front desk came out to me and strangely gave me a hard time for waiting for the valet? It was such a bizarre encounter. This same person brought my friend and I to the elevator to be brought up to the rooftop bar, and she was rude and stand off-ish (zero sense of humor around my whole talking shoe incident). That should've been my first sign that the service generally was going to be what missed the mark. When we got to the rooftop bar at the time of our reservation, no one was at the bar or the host stand. The view did not disappoint, so there was that! But the service was terrible; with only 4 tables occupied, it took a while for our order to be taken, and the food and cocktails were fine. I had the spicy tacos (fine), my friend the poke bowl (standard) and the beverages, watered down. We had the chocolate mousse dessert and it's the first dessert in my lifetime I couldn't finish - it was inedible. As we were wrapping out, it was very confusing when the waiter asked us to start a tab (we were about to leave) and then my friend had to ask to be closed out. TL;DR if you are a patient person who prefers views over service and settles for fine, overpriced food, then go to Poza for a sunset drink. Where do I even begin with the magic of this place?!…read more This has become one of my absolute favorite spots and every single time I go, I end up finding something new to obsess over. The Paris Roma sandwich is chef's kiss. The bread is the perfect mix of soft on the inside while still being beautifully toasted. The tomatoes and cheese taste incredibly fresh, and whatever magical spread they put on it... I need the recipe because WOW. This is a refreshing sandwich! The Sea-trus salad is another favorite. It somehow manages to be light, refreshing, and still filling. The lox and veggies are unbelievably fresh and everything just works together perfectly. Love the lightness of the dressing. This will not disappoint! If I'm in the mood for something a little heartier, I go for the tomato soup and half truffle grilled cheese. I LOVE this combo. The truffle flavor is spot on and not overpowering at all. Comfort food done right. Now for the best part... dessert (my personal weakness). The canelés are my obsession. I actually buy multiple little bags of the mini ones to have with my morning coffee. They remind me of the perfect cross between crème brûlée and French toast. Crispy outside, soft center, absolute perfection. The St. Honoré is a little pricier, but worth every penny and I usually order more than one. The cream is light with a subtle vanilla flavor and those little pastry puffs on top are pure magic. This is more of an elegant, delicate dessert rather than something rich and intense. And then... yesterday I tried a chocolate dessert for the first time and I wish I remembered the name because I have not stopped thinking about it. It was a chilled circular chocolate mousse covered in chocolate with hazelnut and it was honestly PERFECTION. I don't even know how to describe it properly. Rich, smooth, balanced... I had it with coffee and it was one of those desserts you immediately plan on ordering again before you've even finished it. This is more of a rich dessert! Beyond the food, the owner and staff are incredible. They are warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely make this place feel special. You can tell they care deeply about the experience, not just the food, and it shows in everything they do. The space is LOVELY, chic and cozy and thoughtfully designed, creating a calm atmosphere even when it's busy. The staff is exceptional, so lovely, and the overall experience feels very welcoming and relaxing. I was so grateful to get to spend time here and work when I first landed in Los Angeles this trip. I also appreciate that you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful California sunshine, which always make the experience even better. It's entirely possible to spend an afternoon here people watching just like you would in Paris. Soy milk isn't offered which I would love since oak milk is so yucky and not good for you. You can't visit Los Angeles without stopping stopping by this bakery - thank you so much!

Croquettes, frittes, gem salad and burgers all on happy hour were perfect! The trout my husband got for dinner was perfectly prepared. Love the atmosphere, food and delightful staff. I have been here for Happy Hour but this was my first brunch! So for easter brunch they had a pre…read morefixed menu for $32, included 1 app and 1 main. Drinks: Macha latte was decent. Nothing to revert about. But wow, that mimosa was filled to the rim! I got the speciality weekend brunch spritz. I don't remember what it was call but it was strong and refreshing. Yes. The spritz was strong or my tolerance has gone way down. First course: I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Avacado toast was. It had a jam at the bottom that brought the whole dish together. Like my HH review, some micro greens would have taken my heard back. I just love microgreens! Deviled eggs and croquetts I've tried before. They were both pretty good. Croquetts can't do wrong. Mains: I got the crab Benedict and it was awesome! I filled up on my avocado toast so I took half of it home. There was plenty of crab and the poached egg was running and bright orange. That's some healthy eggs! Fresh toast looked amazing as well, same with the burger. I know the burger was also popular at happy hour for the price but I was told it was very good. I'll have to go next time just for that. Parking: Just park by the paid lot by trader Joe's or off Cardiff. Easier than trying to find parking on that street. The paid lot is $1 free and $1 additional hours. The patio was super charming with all the natural lights and shaded by the trees. The service was decent as well. Will took good care of us.

Wow. Okay the pictures on instagram do not do this place justice. I rarely say that places look…read morebetter than their official page and marketing...but yeah. This place does. Like people said it was romantic and I was like sure, I guess in the pictures it kind of does. In person though??? Wow. Absolutely wow. I was in awe. I wish I could sit there every day. The lights and ambiance are truly insane. I have never experienced anything like it. Let me backtrack too and say that I paid $14 for valet which tbh is not too bad considering I didn't have to worry about my car or anything so it was worth it. Okay the food. We got Parker rolls and the Mezze plate for the table. Wow, the Parker rolls were as you would expect. Buttery goodness. French butter as you know...top tier. Okay the Mezze plate? Every single sauce was so good. The little cous cous thing in the Mezze plate was so cute and yummy. Then the main dishes. Seven vegetable couscous was great. As a Moroccan, I can say it was a great vegetarian version of the dish. Has the staple veggies you look for in a cous cous. My friend got the vegan cauliflower steak and that was so beautiful and tasted delicious. It was a great dish for my vegan friend. Our waiter was so nice and really personable as well. From start to finish, he was there for us when we needed him and we really enjoyed our dining experience because of him. I forgot his name but he's a star. I have already recommended this place to others because it really was so incredible. I am so happy I got to come here.

We celebrated a romantic dinner at Little Door for my fiancé's birthday and I would say the…read moreexperience was OK. She chose this place for the Instagram worthy atmosphere you see online, but I would say it falls a little short of how picturesque it is. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice garden setup up, but we were expecting a more romantic and whimsical layout. We also noticed that the dress code is very loosely enforced as there were numerous people there with T shirts on. We got there for our reservation about 15 minutes early and was seated quite fast. The hostesses at the front were quite friendly and the wait staff were attentive and mostly nice. One of our servers seemed a little curt at one point, but it wasn't too bad. Once you are seated they ask about your drink order, and offered wines, sparkling water, and literally said "tap water". Pretty surprised that they said tap water, but we went with a glass of wine and sparkling water. The menu is short and it's easy to make your decision. We went with the 24oz Prime Ribeye Steak, Pappardelle pasta, Kingfish Crudo, and the Portuguese Piri Piri Shrimp. The ribeye was served with scalloped potatoes and green beans that were delicious. The ribeye was a perfect medium rare, tender, and served in a very balanced sauce. The Piri Piri Shrimp was also great. Large pieces in a slightly spicy cream sauce; I would describe it as almost a Cajun flavor. These were my favorites of the dishes we ordered on this night. The Kingfish Crudo was a nice choice. I believe it was yellowtail served with small pieces of cherry tomatoes and peach chunks. The sauce was nice and refreshing with a little sweetness. The Pappardelle Pasta was ok, and probably my least favorite dish of the night. It wasn't bad, but wasn't on par with the rest of our meal. The thick pasta noodles were al dente, and the sauce was nice and creamy with pieces of green beans. It got better once we mixed the poached egg into the sauce, but still didn't get it to the point where we would order it again. Since it was my fiancé's birthday, she wanted to get one of their desserts served as a small birthday. She saw pictures of their passion fruit coconut cheesecake on Instagram and wanted that, but they changed it where the passion fruit was at the bottom of the cake. I thought it was decent, but not a great dessert. I thought the staff would at least sing happy birthday like other restaurants, but that didn't happen here. Overall, The Little Door is a small romantic stop to have a date night. I don't know if I would consider it a place to celebrate a special occasion though. I think we would come back, but not for anything big. Also, I would recommend using the valet, it's right in front and they only charge $14 pre tip.
