We had such a great night at Azur last night. We were greeted by all the staff with welcoming smiles. The decor is really nice. The drinks were perfection! Loved the espresso martini (best I ever had) and the signature Azur cocktail. The food so delicious, everything we ordered was so tasty and fresh. Our waiter was so attentive, as well as the rest of the staff. The live DJ was so fun and brought great energy. My mom and I had the most amazing experience at Azur! All of the staff were very attentive as well as knowledgable about the menu. We took our servers recommendation to order their stuffed squash blossoms and OMG were we glad we did. They were the best bites of food either of us had had in a long time. So flavorful and perfectly fried. The breading was light and crisp, not at all soggy or oily. The olive oil that is served with the bread is top tier, just amazing. The food was flawed but in general, very good. We ordered an excellent burrata salad but the beef tartare was good but at $34 it was served with cold, rubbery potato chips . Azur replaced the chips with fresh ones but the original batch should never have left the kitchen. The atmosphere was beautiful and the live music was enjoyable. The biggest flaw was the service. The server, though pleasant, disappeared for 45 min and it took that long to receive cocktails. The lack of good service followed us home. The fish main course was well prepared but I ate very little of it so I asked to have it boxed. BUT unfortunately, they mixed up the order and sent home another diner's left overs. I tried this new French restaurant in Beverly Hills for my friend's birthday dinner and our experience here was good. The interior was beautiful and clean with both outdoor and indoor seating. We came on a Thursday night, so the restaurant wasn't really busy and they were able to accommodate our party of 9 easily. To share, we had the following dishes: -Pain: The variety of french breads were warm, crispy, and good! Pretty easy to eat. I also like the presentation of cutting the fennel leaves into the oil. The butter was hard though, so I wish we were given softer butter. -Carpaccio de Bar: Pretty good fish carpaccio. It was tangy and fresh. I wish there were less orange rind bitterness notes though. -Gigli Aux Truffles: My favorite dish of the night. I loved the creamy and savory flavor of the truffle pasta and it felt light which I liked. I do wish the pasta had more of an al dente texture, but it was still good. -Petits Farcis: My first time trying this Nice dish and it was pretty good! I enjoyed the meat-stuffed veggies which were cooked well, juicy, and flavorful. The rice pilaf was soft and flavorful, but tasted and felt cheap. -Steak Frites: This dish was a bit disappointing. We ordered the steak at medium, but it was a bit chewy. The fries were also fried too much and were a bit hard. My vegan friend was also given the wrong dish which wasn't ideal. However, the staff made sure to get her the correct dish and not charge her for the other one. They also gave us a lot of free alcohol which was nice. I'd say the drinks here were pretty good. They were sweet and enjoyable. Overall, a solid experience here. I wouldn't come out of my way to dine here again, but I would be down to maybe try the brunch menu here. read more

Azur Beverly Hills is a restaurant offering cuisine of the Côte d'Azur, or French Riviera. Located on the east side of Beverly Hills, Azur offers very high quality food, impeccable service, and a trendy upscale atmosphere at appropriately upscale prices. I brought my family including three children on Memorial Day. We were greeted and seated promptly. The hostess and waiter welcomed us, made recommendations, and showed us the specials. It is perhaps a little usual for an upscale restaurant like this to get young children but the hospitality team was very welcoming, sharing a kids option (not on the menu) and making suggestions for portion sizes. We started with the pain ($12, bread) which included several pieces of fresh baked bread with good variety and creamy butter. The kids pasta ($22) was an absolutely perfect butter noodles with al dente pasta. It feels odd saying this but this is probably the best buttered pasta the kids and I ever had. Following was the Seabass special ($160) a whole fish and side salad (see photo). The fish was cooked perfectly, buttery, soft, and carved tableside. Here is where the service really took off however: the waitstaff, delighted by our children and noticing their trepidation looking at a whole fish with beady eyes, welcomed our two older daughters to carve the fish themselves, walking them through the process and leading to some adorable photos. The asparagus ($12) side was great as well. The interior is upscale and breezy, appropriate for the cuisine, and impeccably clean. While the final price tab for the evening ($300 including drinks and tip) is high, it is not too out of touch from what one would expect for this level of haute cuisine in Beverly Hills. I do not see many reviews for Azur - is it the noveau French in Beverly? If so, bienvenue! Had a beautiful dinner with girlfriends at Azur! The ambiance is fantastic - great indoor vibe and live music playing. The food was wonderful. Azur Beverly Hills just opened a few weeks ago, and I came here for a friend's birthday dinner with eight girls.The decor is beautiful, and the restaurant definitely has a lot of buzz. They had a ribbon cutting with the city, so I was curious to check it out. One thing to know: for parties over six people, you have to choose their three-course set menu. The portions are adjusted for the group, but the required set menu felt a little odd at first. What we ordered: Pissaladière, Salade Niçoise, Poitrine de Poulet, Pavé de Saumon Grillé, Frites, Purée de Pommes de Terre, Crème Brûlée à la Lavande, and Tarte Tropézienne. The best dish of the night was definitely Poitrine de Poulet the battered chicken -- honestly, one of the best battered chickens I've ever had. I would come back just for that. The vibe really turns up after 8:30 PM. By the time we left before 10, people were lining up outside, and the restaurant felt more like a dinner-to-nightlife spot. They had a live DJ and saxophone player, which made the energy fun and lively. So if you're looking for dinner with a nightlife vibe, this is a great choice. Met up with friends for brunch. The restaurant firstly is beautiful. Aesthetically it's just so pretty. The service was impeccable. And the food was incredible. We had the burrata salad (definitely get this), the arugula and artichoke salad (100% get this too) and also the Niçoise salad (this was okay). Appetizers very salty. The steak is nothing special and of course you can find much better choices in the area of Beverly Hills. I would say definitely the food and drinks not really worth the price they charge and I would have rather spent my money somewhere else and not going to a place only for the DJ and ambiance with just okay food. We went for their soft opening. The food was delicious, the music was grooving and the aesthetic was beautiful! We started with the bread basket and the Salade de Pois Chiches, as well as their mocktails. We loved the variety for the bread and the salad was light but so flavorful. For our mains we shared the Ratatouille de Polet, Poitrine de Poulet, Brocollini and Frites. That chicken was heavenly, we could not get enough of it, perfectly crusted and tender and juicy. The Ratatouille was situated in a baked polenta bowl and was the perfect warmth and comfort to your tummy. The broccolini and fries were seasoned beautifully and made you want to come back for more. We ended with their Profiteroles. It was chocolatey and delicious and the perfect end of a delicious meal! Side note: there is no street parking, but they have valet and a parking garage right near as well. We can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes! read more

Went to dinner last night at Azur. It was delicious. We both had burrata and tomatoes and the branzino. Both different and unique. Service was good and not rushed. It was a beautiful night and very nice decor. The only ding I would give was their drink pours. I have never been served such small drinks. For $22 I expect a semi decent sized drink. Three of us and first time diners, we had to flag down the server for anything we needed including initial ordering. We felt more like an inconvenience than actual diners. The first appetizer took 50minutes to come out because the server lied about actually putting it in. We had to ask for multiple things multiple times and at that point just gave up and ordered less. Really poor experience - the restaurant is pretty and lively but not worth coming back to because the service was really bad. I almost felt like I was on vacation in a trendy spot in the south of France. They did a really good job with the decor combining elegance, modern materials, comfort and warmth. The bar design was innovative and cool. Our waiter Tanguy was super attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. My favorites tonight were the "poulpe grillé" (grilled octopus) and the pissaladière (pastry crust with caramelized onions and anchovies). I highly recommend them! I ordered a filet mignon (medium rare) with fries and my friend got the lobster spaghetti and an extra side of mashed potatoes. We shared. The filet mignon was very tender and the mashed potatoes were one of the best I have ever eaten: buttery and smooth. Perfectly French ;-) . The sauce of the Lobster Spaghetti was very tasty; I just wished the spaghetti were more al dente. We ordered an apple tart and the Tropezienne for dessert. The apple tart had a scoop of ice cream on top and it was delightful. Overall, we had a wonderful time in a perfectly located restaurant, not overly loud which made it great for socializing with friends and new acquaintances. Loved the live singers too. 4 of us for lovely Friday evening dinner at Azur. Seating was on the patio and restaurant was nice to look at. Surprised that the restaurant was not busier. Right next to Wally's BH. Started with the cheese plate which was generous and delicious. Had appetizer salads next which were very good. Main courses were salmon, chicken, and steak frites. Food was very good and pricing was excellent. I am writing this not because of the food (which was quite good) , but because of the hospitality. Our server, Audra, and her assistant (whose name, sadly, I don't recall) were awesome. Present whenever we needed attention, great demeanor, and positive energy that truly enhanced our meal. The attention made a very good meal (and our evening) great. The manager, Raphael, was also fantastic, charming, and attentive. Looking forward to our next evening out at Azur. Only complaint was the $85 corkage fee (IMO, anything more than $50 is unreasoanabe) and wine list (which, in my view, was somewhat limited and more expensive than it needed to be). We were so excited to have a new restaurant in the neighborhood that we can walk to! The drinks are expensive and very small! How can a specialty whiskey cocktail on their menu not have any whisky flavor! Trying to cut costs as a new restaurant is a very bad move! The restaurant is gorgeous and the entertainment was wonderful! Food was very expensive and at best mediocre!
