Wow! Third time's a charm. My first visit was for a bridal shower where we rented a private room and had a pre fixed menu, which honestly didn't leave much of an impression. The second time, we stopped in mainly for drinks and appetizers. This visit, however, was all about exploring the menu, and I'm so glad we did. The bruschetta was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. The truffle pasta was easily the star of the show, rich, packed with flavor, and a perfect portion size. The prawns were cooked beautifully, and the sauce elevated the dish even more. For dessert, we ordered the fruit topped specialty, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to end the evening. What continues to stand out every time is the service. From the busers to the food runners and servers, everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The hospitality here is consistently top notch. The vibe is what initially kept me coming back, but now the food has officially won me over too. My friends and I had a wonderful lunch experience here. A beautiful place with elegant decor, beautiful furniture, and nice cutlery - everything here says refined luxury. But the $39 (at this writing) 3-course lunch special was a fantastic deal -- not just the super reasonable price, but the food quality! Since there were five of us, we had almost every combination of their (quite extensive) menu. From appetizers, to main course, to dessert, every item was impressive! Service was impeccable! Our waitress was cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was quite busy when we came but our orders showed up very quickly -- now, a lot of people (from the front line to the back kitchen) had to have work very hard for that to happen! And my hat off to them all. From my foodie friends who had been here many times, most of things on their menu are good, but the seafoods are especially good, which I can attest to based on the salmon tartar, seabass, and other fish we had that day. Novikov is a luxurious, elegant, impressive experience. When you walk in you'll notice white table cloths, olive trees, a fully decked out bar, a wine cellar, an open kitchen with farmer's market veggies for sale and a cosmopolitan crowd. It has a European feel to it. A place where you don't just eat, you "dine" and where lunch or dinner is an "event". The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I felt well taken care of. The table we got was just perfect. Exactly what I had asked for when making a reservation. The music was delightful and a good, soft background volume. They played songs in different languages and also an oldie but goodie favorite of mine "Mambo Italiano". I was offered a purse rest for my purse. Such a nice gesture. I did not know such a luxury existed! I love that they offer this feature for the ladies. We came for lunch during a holiday weekend to celebrate a special occasion and the place was packed. We ordered from the three course prix fixe menu which is an excellent deal. I ordered the gazpacho soup which was one of the soups of the day. It was one of three soups that were offered. I ordered it because it had a vegetarian broth. The presentation was beautiful. It was served on a cutting board with a side of garlic bread. I'm so glad I chose this soup. It was delicious! My dining companion got the minestrone soup. It was served in a cast iron dish. A nice presentation. I was told it was also very good! For the main course I got the fish of the day. It was sea bass. It was served butterfly style. The fish was so tasty. I loved how perfectly cooked it was. It flaked when I put my fork on it and melted in my mouth. There was some tasty green sauce lightly drizzled on the side too. A perfect accompaniment to the delicate fish. I noticed a lot of people ordering this dish around me. My dining partner liked the branzino they ordered. For dessert I got the tiramisu and my dining companion got the lemon sorbet. The tiramisu is also a popular choice here. I saw it being carried around to lots of tables. It was soft and flavorful. I love the sweet coffee flavor and the spongy lady fingers. My dining companion's sorbet was also deliciously sour. It was served in a lemon which was a treat for the eyes! Both drastically different desserts. Both excellent. Overall, our visit to Novikov was fantastic! I had never heard of the restaurant before discovering the Beverly Hills location but apparently it is an international brand. I believe the original location is in London. Novikov is the last name of the restauranteur responsible for these restaurants. This is a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. Also, of note, is that they have a party room in the back. Of course atmosphere is modern, clean, display of fresh veggies, and seafood. But did they execute? 21 Oz rib eye, ask for medium rare- came out medium well. Didn't bother to send it back. Flavor is good, but not something I would come back for. Langostines, we had them as appetizers. 5 pieces, pretty pricey, but wasn't cooked to correctly. 2/5 were cooked perfectly. Visited recently and had a fantastic experience. I had been to Novikov in Miami before and loved it, so I was curious to see how the Beverly Hills location would compare. It definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere is upscale, glamorous, and a little bit over-the-top in the best way. It feels luxurious but still fun and energetic. By around 9pm a DJ came out and the entire restaurant turned into a lively party scene. The place was completely packed and the vibe was incredible. The food was excellent across the board. The $100 ribeye was absolutely flawless, perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The black truffle risotto was rich and creamy, and the asparagus added the perfect texture to balance the dish. The wagyu bolognese was also fantastic. The sauce was deep, rich, and perfectly executed. And the tiramisu? As legendary as its reputation, every bite completely lived up to the hype. Had a fantastic lunch at Novikov Beverly Hills recently. It's was just as perfect for a solo lunch as it would be for a big group celebration. We were a big group and the $39 pre fix menu was great! The menu options for lunch are excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh and prepared perfectly and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a solid kids' menu, which you don't always find. We sat in the indoor/outdoor area which has a great vibe and flow to it. Our server, Luis, was a huge part of the experience; he was so helpful, attentive, and really knew the menu well. Also, a logistical win: parking in BH can be a nightmare, but there is a public lot right next door with plenty of space. Overall a seamless, high-quality experience. We both got eggplant parmesan which tasted ok. I ordered the pappadelle bolognese which was delicious and he ordered a steak that came with potatoes that looked like they were reheated. What a stunning and memorable evening. It's rather cozy (see: cramped) inside, but that's okay. It's absolutely worth the slight inconvenience. There's tables and a bar area to choose from. The atmosphere is vibrant and there's a mix of large groups and couples. We came with a reservation and waited about 15 minutes for our table. They were apologetic, though we had grabbed drinks at the bar and didn't mind the delay. I was a big fan of my espresso martini! We had a gluten allergy at the table, which they took seriously - I've learned that cross-contamination can happen very easily, but they seemed comfortable navigating accommodations and adjustments. I would recommend just about everything we ordered: the filling and satisfying Tagliatelle Bolognese, the delectable Seabass Fillet, and the fresh Beef Carpaccio. We shared everything, though I could have easily enjoyed the pasta all to myself. :) Service was efficient and polite, despite the hustle and bustle of the evening. First time coming here, and it was during a Venetian themed night. So they had dancers and performances during the night. Beautiful decor, massive indoor dining space. Completely packed for a Friday night. They had live classical musicians, not sure if this is a regular occurrence, or special for Venetian night since the musicians were dressed up. Around 10pm a DJ takes the place of the live string band. The switch to the DJ makes it quite loud and really hard to have a conversation. The vibe also completely changes. Food was fantastic. Not sure about their regular menu, since we were there for a set menu birthday party. It's Beverly Hills, so expect very $$$$. Staff were great and attentive. Really fun date night and first time here. It was a busy Friday night, many people dressed to the 9s, super lively atmosphere, service a little slow due to it being busy but very pleasant waitstaff. It's a beautiful restaurant: light and airy with a bold elegant vibe too. Exhaustive Italian wine list, fun cocktails, food was delicious too. The highlight for me was the Lobster Catalana salad, see picture. It was juicy, silky, fresh, but still a nice winter night delicacy. I enjoyed it with the Pornstar Martini which was a lightly sweet tropical take on the martini and it also had prosecco. We enjoyed the steak as well but I forgot to take a photo. The Branzino here is also pretty good and not dry at all. My husband had the BRANZINO FILLET with dattarino tomatoes, olives, and spinach. This Branzino Fillet was also delicious, it has Crispy skin and the meat of the fish was very soft like it melts in your mouth, it's a delicious one. My Son's OKRA SALMON FILLET came with a nice Grilled Salmon and Tzatziki sauce which is so good with it. For dessert we had PANNA COTTA, TIRAMISU, and TORATA CIOCCOLATINO, I will make this simple, all 3 are soooooo good, get them! Slightly overpriced food with a little sneakiness from the waiter - the "appetizer special" of scallops with caviar and truffle (the caviar and truffle was $100 add-on to the scallops app) We also got the melon/ham app but they ordered 2 of them for 4 girls! We didn't ask for 2. And it was definitely left over. But I digress, as everything was delectable. Mushroom truffle pizza was also great. 21oz bone-in ribeye was good, but nothing notable. One of the best lunch spots in Beverly Hills! Novikov offers a beautiful ambience whether it is a celebratory meal, corporate meal, or a just because meal! Spending about $40 for 2 courses and about $50 for 3 is a great deal, especially considering they provide you with full portions. For starters, the salmon tartare is my go-to but splurging and paying the premium for the hamachi crudo is worth it, the fish is fresh and the flavor because of the accompaniment is citrus forward! For entrees, the chicken Milanese is always consistent but the pistachio gnocchi have always been underrated. For dessert, tiramisu always wins! Service is friendly, it is on the slower side but letting your server know to expedite the meal have always worked out for me and my party. Can't wait to go back! read more

I am giving one less star only because of the bartenders. We were there 45 mins earlier than our reservations and we stayed at the bar while we waited. The bartenders were not very welcoming, it almost seemed like we were an inconvenience for them. We had a few drink orders and My mother-in-law ordered two additional drinks and they made those two drinks AFTER making other people's drinks who ordered AFTER us. That was disappointing. Food: everything we ordered was delicious. Prices are on the higher end, but you're in Beverly Hills, it's expected, so prepare to spend. The Berola beef was highly recommended by our server James. The bruschetta is a must order item! That was honestly delicious. We tried the tagliatelle with mushrooms, the wagyu bolognese, gnocchi pistachio, the ravioli and the truffle pizza. I came into Novikov with very high expectations, but unfortunately the experience fell flat from the moment I walked in. The hostess at check-in barely acknowledged us because she was mid-conversation with someone else and didn't bother to check us in promptly. Not a great first impression. Once we finally got seated, it took what felt like forever for a server to come by and even ask for drinks. The service throughout the night was honestly some of the worst I've experienced. No one checked in to see if I wanted a second drink, no one asked if we needed anything, and everything we did get felt like we had to work for it. I asked for a second round of bread, and it didn't show up until after I posted my initial Yelp review--never a good sign. Then the biggest disappointment: the oven was broken, so we couldn't order pizza at a place known for it. At that point the entire experience felt off. I really expected much more. Honestly, I've had more attentive service at Denny's. I dine around Beverly Hills regularly, and all I can say is Novikov should take notes from Craig's in West Hollywood. They actually understand hospitality. As for the food? It was just okay. Nothing memorable. My spicy paloma was also just oka drinkable, but not something I'd reorder. This was one of the most disappointing and unprofessional restaurant experiences I have had in a very long time. My friend and I made a reservation for 10:30 PM specifically to come in for dessert and spend some quality time together. We arrived on time and, despite having a reservation, were not seated until approximately 20 minutes later. Once we were finally seated, we had to ask three separate times just to receive a dessert menu. After waiting yet again, the menus were finally brought to us. However, only moments later, another staff member approached our table, took all of the menus away, and informed us that they could not serve us because they do not allow guests to sit at those tables for "just dessert." We were then asked to stand up and leave the restaurant. This was both embarrassing and completely unacceptable. If the restaurant has a policy against serving dessert-only guests at certain tables, that should be communicated clearly at the time of booking or, at the very least, before seating customers and making them wait. Instead, we were kept waiting, seated, repeatedly ignored, and then asked to leave after already being settled at our table. I have never experienced anything like this at any restaurant. It showed a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for customers' time. Unfortunately, this was my second disappointing experience here, and after tonight, I will not be returning. read more

1 Star - Extremely Disrespectful Experience On March 8th I took my daughters to Novikov Beverly Hills for lunch, expecting a pleasant experience given the prices and reputation of the restaurant. Instead, we had one of the most disrespectful dining experiences I've ever encountered. In the middle of our meal, staff approached our table and told us we would have to move because "important people" were arriving and they needed our table. Let that sink in -- paying customers already seated and eating were asked to relocate because someone the restaurant considered more important was coming. This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one charging premium prices. When guests sit down for a meal, they should be able to enjoy it without being treated like placeholders until someone "more important" arrives. It was humiliating and incredibly unprofessional, particularly since I was there with my daughters. Restaurants should treat every guest with the same level of respect. The moment you start deciding which customers matter more than others, you've completely failed at basic hospitality. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Novikov Beverly Hills to anyone. If you decide to dine here, be aware that your table might not actually be yours if the staff decides someone else is more "important." read more

We absolutely loved our oysters and our Cacio E Pepe pasta served tableside. They made interesting and delicious drinks for us based on our request. Woah. I would never come here based on the reviews - luckily, they were the restaurant catering at The Barn at Cielo, a Malibu winery, during my most recent visit. So keep in mind I have no idea what the experience is like at the actual restaurant and can only comment on the food. I ordered the truffle pizza and the cacio e pepe. The pizza came with a substantial amount of fresh black truffle sliced on top and the flavor was amazing. But the pasta? My god, it was incredible I ate the entire plate of cacio e pepe and couldn't believe how delicious it was. My favorite iteration of this pasta dish is at Little Dom's in Los Feliz, but the Novikov version takes the cake! SO creamy, with pasta almost like a bucatini cooked to perfection. We believe we were subjected to racial discrimination during our visit. We are Asian customers with a reservation. Upon arrival, we were told that wearing a hoodie was not allowed and were asked to leave and change our clothes. We complied immediately and returned as instructed. After coming back, we were told to wait over an hour, and were asked to stand and wait to the side. When we finally sat down on a bench while waiting, a staff member told us that we were not allowed to sit unless we ordered drinks. This was shocking and unreasonable -- what kind of restaurant requires guests to order alcohol just to sit while waiting for their reserved table? Meanwhile, other guests who arrived after us were seated without issue. Notably, those guests were not Asian. This unequal treatment strongly suggests discriminatory behavior. The front desk staff showed no professionalism, no explanation, and no apology throughout the entire process. This experience was disrespectful, disorganized, and deeply upsetting. I came here to celebrate my birthday. Some desirable things and some not so much... The ambiance is beautiful inside! They have a great lunch special that goes thru the wknd and late, 5PM. Which this is not usually and especially in BH... The food was pretty good overall. There were few things for me which were either too salty, or when you order pasta with truffles and spend that hefty price for truffles, I'd expect a good amount of truffles. Well, not this place, only 8 pieces for a plate of cheese wheel pasta and a $100 price tag. Il Pastaio has the best tasting homemade pastas with a lot of truffles, they are not shy with their truffles! I have compared so far with 3 restaurants that served the exact same pasta with truffles, prices ranging from $100-$150. I will only ever get this pasta at Il Pastaio! Food: *Hamachi served on a block of Himalayan salt- beautiful presentation but way too salty since it's on a block of Himalayan salt. Maybe needs more orange citrus to help break up the salt a bit more... going it more of that refreshing and sweetness to help break up that salty taste. * Greek salad with feta cheese - good, big chunk of feta cheese *sea bass- good *pasta with truffles - very good but could use more truffles since I did pay $100... (only 8 truffles) *lamb - good - have had it better at other places. *pappardelle bolognese- good, have had it better at other places Dessert: I will have to say both of their desserts were amazing! I would likely come back for their lunch special or maybe even skip food here and just order desserts! Probably one of the best desserts I have ever had. And, I usually lean more towards to chocolate deserts.., but wow! I think their lunch special is a very good portion and great prices compared to their regular menu. I would skip their truffles since they seem a bit stingy on the portion of truffles. Service can be worked on. When I asked the server a question regarding if the pastas they make at the restaurant, if it's made with Italian flour and "00". I have gluten intolerant and dairy intolerant. I can ingest very little and I know what I can eat or avoid. The server laughed at me! I did not find this funny and put the serve in his place, told him how rude that was! What's so funny to laugh at a customer when inquiring about the ingredients in their menu??? So, do I think the service was 5 stars, absolutely not! Maybe 21/2-3 at best. Once he saw I was upset, he completely changed and went and asked the chief. The service needs a bit of training of how to present themselves professionally in a high-end restaurant. Would I I try this place again..? Maybe.., but, not anytime soon. There are so many Greta restaurants in BH and surrounding areas. read more

This place is an experience. Great people watching. Girls in mini dresses and heels. It's like a supper club. The music is very loud and I couldn't really hear my date. The food was tasty and the service was good. Would recommend for the vibe, but definitely not to be able to have a conversation. read more

When you step into Novikov the beauty of the place and the good vibe hits you right in the face (in a good way! lol) The Dj that playing, you can see the enjoyment on everyone faces. You don't want to leave even after dinner over!! And then you get your interaction with the staff and everyone is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food is so good! We were a large group on our table and everyone enjoyed the food. We had a $2000 table and honestly it was worth every penny! Thank you Novikov! read more

Unless you're going strictly for drinks at the bar, this place is a hard pass. Nothing we ordered was enjoyable. Every dish was bland and underwhelming, with zero depth of flavor. At best, everything was mediocre, especially considering the price point. The only saving grace was my pornstar martini, which was actually decent. Service felt rushed and impersonal, like they were trying to turn tables as quickly as possible rather than provide any real dining experience. The DJ also didn't add anything to the atmosphere, it could have been better. For the pricing and hype, the food does not deliver at all. There are far better restaurants nearby where the food, service, and overall experience are actually worth it. I would skip this one entirely. read more

Visited around 3 pm , knowing the place is not going to be that busy. We wanted to eat and chat . The server who was a beard guy was very nice , got our drinks . Both excellent so good that we ordered the second round not usual for us though. We ordered the 3 course food for $39 but honestly don't know how it was priced. Our bill was around $340 for 2 people and well worth it. The Tuna Tartar was great , the HAMACHI CRUDO was the least favorite , kinda no flavor. Steak was perfectly grilled and potato was delicious . The TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE was done so well not overwhelming saturation sauce and very delicious . The PANNA COTTA was well to the point but Mango SORBET was not that great . Over all the ambiance , the music the decoration were fantastic. Must be busy on the weekends , but glad we enjoyed its beauty in a relaxed, way. Will return for sure! read more

This is such a beautiful restaurant: the decor the ambiance is beyond impressive! The service team/staff was top notch. Everyone was extremely nice, detailed and so attentive! I loved our waiter and his team. The food was so good: spot on flavor & presentation for each drink and dishes we tried. I truly had an amazing experience!
