casual spot with good food to start the day! it's a small space and can get pretty busy, but the service was friendly and welcoming. the chilaquiles divorciados con cecina and the machacado de birria both had super tender meat and really tasty refried beans that went perfectly with the corn tortillas. we also really liked the salsa. the gordita was a bit dry and on the blander side, and they forgot the bacon so it was just eggs. also while the mini pancakes were adorable, they got the toppings wrong and forgot the powdered sugar :( it does feel a little crowded, and since you order at the counter first, it can be slightly overwhelming on your first visit, but overall it's a solid spot for a casual breakfast or brunch. read more

Man I've been here so many times and told so many people about their chilaquiles. But Jesus Christ the service has gone down hill. It took nearly an hour for an order of chilaquiles and a torta to come out. It was not as busy as it usually is either. It got to the point that I put my number up front of our table to get someone's attention. I then heard our number being called in the back kitchen and it still took longer. I noticed our table was not the only one. No server even waited on us and let us know about delay or say anything. Just dropped our food off without utensils and left. We've been searching for a good brunch place with great, quality ingredients in the sugar land area, and this place is it! We came for the breakfast, and it didn't disappoint. Everything was so good and flavorful, and even though we went more Mexican, the traditional options looked incredible. I'm definitely going back for lunch too! Everyone's tacos looked so good there. The coffee options weren't a lot, but we got the caramel iced coffee and it was sweet and creamy. Service was extremely friendly and quick. Everything came out fresh. The restaurant itself is a cute mom and pop place that has a clean, modern feel. I can't recommend this place enough. I had a great experience at B AM Covina. I have wanted to try a Champurrado for a long time and lo and behold, I was there just in time for it to be a seasonal drink! The cafe has plenty of parking in front and is clean and brightly lit. The workers were also so friendly. I can't say much about the Champurrado since it was my first Champurrado of my life so I'm not sure I can accurately tell you how it was compared to other ones. That said, it was thick and had a distinct sweetness from corn. It also had a lot of cinnamon and honestly kind of reminded me of their horchata. We also tried their other drinks like cucumber agua fresca and really enjoyed it. I thought it was a refreshing option for a hot day. read more

I'm such a huge fan of TJ Birria as is, I didn't realize they had this spot! I'm so glad I got to try it out. This was the old stomping grounds where TJ Birria all started if not mistaken. Great to see how they kept this location and added a twist to it. Cute and small in there. Enough seating also. Menu is on the walls plus on paper at the cash register. I ordered their chilaquiles with cecina, the Centro Americano dish, and lastly their concha french toast. My drinks were a agua fresca de limón con pepino preparado and caramel iced coffee. The chilaquiles came as half salsa roja and salsa verde. Both were great but the green was on the spicier side which I enjoyed a lot. The meat great nothing crazy and seasoned with a lot of spices. The Centro Americano reminded of home. So basic yet tasty! For their french toast concha it was a hit. I was surprised that it was cut up and cooked I'm assuming on the flat top with the egg wash. Total $17 Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Coffee was great nice traditional Mexican hint of cinnamon flavor. I had the mini pancakes and a side of bacon. Can't complain:) The only thing I will advise is know what you going order before your arrive. You walk in order and pay at the counter and find a seat. The restaurant is pretty small I was party of one but if you have a large family or go with a ground you may be waiting outside. So just know that going in. The menu is small but good options. The location is small but clean and cute decor. Friendly and attentive staff. The food is good. The chilaquiles are spicy so just be aware if you don't like spicy food. We came back for the machacado de birria it was good but had big chunks of onions, next time we will know to ask for the small chop ones. We tried B AM Cocina via UberEats. They had BOGO deals for their Chilaquiles Divorciados and Street tacos. So, we had to try them out. The Chilaquiles were delicious. We enjoyed the marinated tortilla chips with cheese and both their salsa verde and salsa roja sauces. The hot sauces provided added such a great kick as well. Their sunny side up eggs and refried beans were so good mixed in with the tortillas. The whole dish was very filling. But, we made room for their street tacos with corn tortillas. We ordered beef in our tacos, which was kind of dry. Next time, I think we'll order our tacos with their birria meat to add some moisture to the tacos. Overall, we really enjoyed the food here and will definitely order from them again. UPDATE: Definitely get the Chilaquiles divorciados with birria meat!! This place is on the causal side as you order up at the front and then sit down to wait for your food. They don't have too many tables, but we had no problem finding a spot on a Saturday morning. My family and I stopped here after realizing where we initially wanted to go was closed for the holiday. I searched for a breakfast eatery near where we were and this establishment came up and seemed to have good reviews. Upon arrival and entering, it was a rather small eatery. There were maybe 10 tables total with varying number of seats per table. We actually ended up grabbing the last open table when we arrived. After sitting, we realized that this was not a restaurant where they come to your table to get your order - you have to order at the front and then they bring you your food. For our family of 5, it was pricey for the small amount of food and drinks we requested. Close to, if not over, $100. I ordered the chilaquiles divorciadas with scrambled eggs. Overall, it was ok, but expensive for the small amount of food that was plated as most of it was fried chips. I tried their horchata that my spouse ordered and it reminded me of that annoying pungent rose smell that some public restrooms have; I couldn't down it. Their mango drink was tasty though, but super sweet. Will we be back? Possibly, but we will not go out of our way to come here...... read more

Decided to try this breakfast place that is the sister restaurant of TJ Birria but with additional breakfast items. Got the birria tacos, Birria gordita, and the Chilaquiles divorciados. All were overall good, but the star of the meal was the Chilaquiles. Birria tacos were not as crunchy as TJ Birria. So if you're looking for just Birria tacos, stick to TJ Birria, but if you are wanting Mexican breakfast, this is a good choice! Will come back to try other breakfast items. read more

I absolutely love when a restaurant gives you a unique, signature taste that makes you keep coming back, this place does just that. I have eaten from here twice, both using doordash delivery. Their street tacos are absolutely delicious. Super flavorful, tasty white corn tortillas, and they use red onion and cilantro. They also have really good green and red sauce. Both with a nice kick. I also ordered the Churros that came with chocolate sauce. They were super crunchy, sweet and had a good presentation. I would love to go sit down at this restaurant and get their food fresh and hot, and I'm willing to bet I'd like it even more.
