Sugar Land needed a great taco place and Los Tacos delivers! This taco shop has all the goods from the freshly prepared tacos to TV's showing live sports to authentic Mexican taco shop vibes. The design was clean and you get to see the meat being cooked and chopped and the tacos being made behind the counter. Here's what I ordered: The Los Three Amigos (9/10) Combo of ribeye, chicken and asada tacos, topped with freshly chopped onions and cilantro, salsa and guac with lime on the side. Flavorful, seasoned to perfection. Add in the hot salsa sauce, which had a good kick to it, and those tacos were delicious. Asada Fried (8/10) Very generous portion of fries topped with asada beef, sour cream, cheese, and guac. Very good side to add with the tacos. Would have been perfect with just a bit more asada beef. Service was great. Rick, the owner, greeted us when we can in and also stopped by our table to check on our experience and talked about some of their ideas on upcoming dishes they wanted to add. Had a great experience and would recommended!

Menu as of 6/19/2026, price of Asada fries is incorrect (now $14.99)

As of June, they have Pastor tacos now! Jamaica agua fresca was my favorite of everything I tried. Tacos were alright but could be even fresher/hotter, overall favorite was the Pastor. When I ate the ribeye tacos, it almost tasted borderline burnt. Asada fries are loaded properly. Prices do need to be updated on their menu. Service is ok, prices are more expensive than usual spots. Lots of potential to be better, especially considering the price being in Sugar Land.

I absolutely loved this place! I love how the inside looks kind of retro and everything is black and white. The tacos that I had were excellent and so flavorful. I also feel like the proportion of ingredients in the taco was just right. Sometimes I feel like tacos have too much of one ingredient on it and not enough of another. The service was quick and excellent! I also absolutely loved their Elote. Probably some of the best Elote I have ever had. There is plenty of parking as well! I do feel like the drinks are a little pricey. I paid about $3.50 for a mandarin jarrito.

Ribeye tacos were solid and I liked the green sauce on the table, but everything else was either average or not really to my liking - I wasn't a fan of their take on Elotes. It was more like corn in sauce and the cheese smelled funky. The menu felt a bit limited, especially with the meat offerings. I'm used to seeing an extensive list of meats, but here it was only ribeye, asada, chicken, and chicharron - not even pastor! Plenty of seating inside. The owner was nice and walked around to greet guests. Definitely appreciate the personal touch

Super fast service and clean dining area. I love the open kitchen concept which you can watch them fire grill cook everything. I've been coming here on Tuesdays for their Taco Tuesday deal, which every taco is only $2 and you have the choice of chicken, asada, and chicharron. Must get their asada tacos! Chunky and smoky meats, consistently well seasoned. They do not cheat on the portion. I will be honest, I'm very disappointed in the chicharron tacos though because it is not crispy pork belly at all. In fact, the meat taste just like al pastor, and also little too salty for me so when I added more spicy condiment, I needed to drink lots of water to wash it down. How can you call this chicharron when there's not even a piece of pork belly? I did asked the server there and she told me that's just how they make the chicharron, so I was little shocked.

This place was great! I had the 3 amigos and the chicharrón taco. All of the tacos were delicious! My favorite was their chicken taco. Def recommend trying their tacos! Also, a must get is their asada fries! I also got their elote, which was really good. Be careful with their red salsa, it is spicy! At least it was for me. The horchata was very yummy as well. I will be back for more tacos! Service was quick and super friendly!

Solid option to satisfy your Mexican taco cravings. I enjoyed their Tres Amigos taco plate although I did find the meat to be too salty for my taste. The green sauce on the table nicely complimented them tho. I felt they were a bit overpriced for the size. Wish they had options for seafood or veggie tacos. I also tried their elote and really didn't care for the flavors in this. Strange fake cheesy taste. Can't quite explain it. Just not a fan. I even split it w a friend and neither of us could take more than few bites. For an extra 5 dollars this was disappointing. The ambiance is casual and friendly. You order at the counter and they give you a number and they'll bring it to your table. I found the service to be friendly and efficient. Good flavors but I would not go out of my way to try this again.

These tacos were , I'm from La so I know a good taco when I taste one. My husband and I are foodie hopping and had a taco each, he had the rib eye, I had the asada. It comes with onion, cilantro and guac. If our next stop was not crawfish we would have stayed. My husband said if we don't get out of hear now I'm going back to the counter lol. The prices are very reasonable and the owners were very friendly. We are already planning to come back tomorrow for lunch!! A must try!

Went to this newly opened taco place in sugarland Texas. There is lots of seating inside this restaurant. I ordered a variety of food to try all their menu. I got the 3 amigo taco on flour tortilla which is there chicken, asada, prime ribs. All there were very yummy. Then I got the asada fries. I wish there were more asada. I feel like I was eating ground beef not because of the texture but because of how little there was. I got their elote which was very yummy. The staff were amazing very helpful and kind.

Was pretty excited when I saw a food influencer post a video about this place being open. The area is desperate for a solid taco spot in a sea of asian restaurants. Finally had a chance to try. It was OK. The food I would say is above average. Solid flavors on the ribeye meat from the three taco plate I ordered. Salsas had a nice kick to them. The flour tortilla was nothing really to write about. The one part that made me wince was the prices. The cheese quesadilla was a flour tortilla folded in half with cheese and beans. $3 seems a bit much for that. $15 taco plate. Just the three tacos. $5 per taco seems a bit excessive. Nice staff, place looks nicely done up from when that spot used to be a Pho place. Wish I could like them more, but I don't think the value is there

    asada quesadilla

Food was great and prices are decent for what I got. The charro beans are SO GOOD! I also tried their asada quesadilla and got the order of 3 chicken tacos. Flavor for everything was great and I will be coming back. Service was great too and wasn't too busy so ambience was calm when I got there. Definitely recommend you to come!

Friendly staff, fast service. It was quite a line and they knocked everybody out very quick. Very clean restaurant. The tacos are great. I definitely would eat here many times.

Overpriced and flavorless unless you drench it in hot sauce. So many other good Mexican spots in the area.

They have an extensive drink menu with several happy hour specials. I tried the El Senor margarita which was a 5/5. It's incredibly smooth and well-balanced, with a well balanced citrus flavor profile that's wasn't too tart. Loved the option to customize the margaritas selecting the tequila and mix. We didn't eat dinner but shared salsa and chips which were a 4/5. The salsa had a great flavor with large chunks of tomatoes. Their guacamole was excellent with a fresh pico de gallo topping 4/5. Their Mole Wings were somewhat of a disappointment 3/5. I can't say why other than just didn't like the taste. And I love mole! Overall, the experience was good and I look forward to returning to try the food.

Great Mexican restaurant!…read more We ordered the el molcajete, port carnitas tacos and steak and shrimp with a couple of margaritas and I have to say , I was very very pleased with our meals. Since moving here to Texas it has been quite difficult to find a restaurant that serves meals outside of Tex Mex . Something told us to explore the area a bit more and thankfully we did ! El fogon has been one of the most authentic Mexican restaurant we've had so far. In the month of May, my husband and I have ate here twice and every plate that we've ordered have been incredibly delicious. The meats are very tender & seasoned extremely well. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for dishes outside of the typical Tex mex. The menu has so many options and everything looks and smells so good. Their margaritas are made very well which is a bonus! I appreciate the assortment of seating (booths , patio ,tables & bar top ). I loved the decor and cleanliness. Our service each time has been top tier. The staff is friendly , fast and accommodating. Based on our experience both times, we are definitely returning and encouraging friends to try. I am ready to return already. Yum !

My ceviche was completely* tasteless, tough & uninteresting, more like Peruvian style but without any lime (nor flavor). The fish, shrimp and pulpo came straight out of a very frozen bag. They appeared to have real street Mexican tacos on the menu w corn tortillas. The atmosphere felt like entering a rancho joint in northern Mexico. The staff was very nice, accommodating and attentive when we went. The place was not very crowded. Parking was not a problem. I would not go back but it depends on what you're used to.
