It's Sunday and it's 11:00am in Houston. If you go to sit down breakfast chances are there is a wait. We were fortunate and got in just before church let out. But there was a building wait for sure as we waited for food. Ordered Waffle, Sausage Gravy, and a meat lover omelette ordered side sausage gravy as well. Everyone reported great food quality and portion size. Sausage gravy came back bland and "too peppery" Manager was very active and engaging which was nice to see. Took a long time out of the kitchen at 37 minutes which led to the score. Probably a 3.5 if that score was available. read more

I really don't like leaving bad reviews but the food here is wayyyy below mid and gave my boyfriend food poisoning after eating their hash browns. The look of the place is nice but please don't let those kinds of things fool you. We tried again for a second chance and the pancakes were so dry and grainy (I'm just wondering how you mess up pancakes that bad). Probably the worst pancake I've ever had. My boyfriend again ordered avocado toast and the avocado was already browning. Super disappointed multiple times and surely enough I will not be eating from this restaurant EVER again. read more

However after taking food order there was quite a wait for the food to arrive. When it arrived it was hot & the presentation was nice. I'm trying to eat healthier so my meal was a little bland. Came to first watch today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I was seated immediately with 2 friends and the host was very attentive. It's a pretty casual dining experience with a very large menu so plenty of options to choose from. I went with the sushita brisket hash along with the lemon/blueberry cornbread. Both meals came out pretty quickly and were very good. I also loved that there was a barcode on the receipt that allows you to pay your bill online if you choose to. We had their signature lemon ricotta pancakes, and carnitas breakfast tostadas from the summer menu. The morning meditation juice was a great complement with the food. The pancakes were huge and in a stack of two. They were fluffy and fragrant. The creamy lemon curd was perfect. Absolutely love these pancakes. This was my first and last time ordering from this location. I ordered a Parma Skillet and a side of Turkey Gravy and Buscuit. I didn't get any gravy and the biscuit was burnt. I immediately called and spoke to the Mgr, Patrick who was pleasant and offered a refund for the turkey and gravy (which would take up to 2 weeks to receive). The problem with Patrick is that he slammed the phone down in my ear after our conversation and my thank you and goodbye. VERY RUDE. I wasnt rude or disrespectful to him. Came here for the first time on a Saturday around 11a. They do not seat you until your entire party has arrived. Quite busy as there was a line when we arrived. The ambiance is family friendly with a farm house feel, and despite how busy it was, not too noisy actually. There is a wide menu selection, but a bit on the pricier side. It felt like they really tried to make the space work but it doesn't. Parking was terrible, the inside is cramped. Service was okay, the waitress definitely rushed us through. So this is my fourth time here and those first 3 times was amazing food and service. I believe Michael was his name, our wonderful server!! BUT Today, it was poor service; we didn't see our waiter nor did she check in with us. Honestly didn't see any other waiters in site to check in with their tables as well. While it sounded good on the menu, the eggs were kind of rubbery and didn't have very much flavor. Also, there wasn't a lot of bacon or avocado in the omelet. My fiancé tried a different omelet and also felt like the eggs weren't great. Our table all shared some French toast, which I thought was much better than the omelets!
