He never addressed my issue and I had to go to another Auto Repair as they quickly identified the problem and took care of it. The new Mechanic admitted that this owner from Camas Washougal exhaust Automotive scammed me. Shame on them. I trusted this Jamie character owner because he had Christian paraphernalia all over his office, and he claimed to be this God-fearing man. But the truth is he lied to me and scammed me. He suggested I bring cash in, without any conscience. Knowing, that as I drove off, my van was still suffering from the same issues . The repairs he did were absolutely unnecessary. And he led me to believe that he was resolving the problem, addressing my issue with the car. this owner was uncaring, unprofessional, and I didn't have the bandwidth to battle with him. So I went to another mechanic. But I lost $1200 This happened in January 2026. I warn everyone not to use his services. He and his wife should've immediately said we can't repair your car but here's what we can do. Instead, they took advantage of me as a single working woman, they lied to me and charged me the $1200 ....for nothing! I was unaware until I actually drove off and realized my car still had the same trouble and what he repaired was unnecessary. $1200 cash is a lot of money. Shame on them. Go to Trutech in Vancouver, they are honest and skilled. Also, this guys work on my car does not show up on the Carfax report. all my other repairs since I bought the car new 10 years ago are all on my report except for his. Police report filled, BBB report filled and they stripped his accreditation with him so don't fall for his scam when he send you an old paper, attorney general of Washington filled, and now sheriffs office will be presenting him with court documents I filled against him. If you have been scammed by this monkey take him to court it's only $50! Claims he changed all 4 spark plugs, did new spark plug threads, changed tie rods and ball joints. I go pick up the car myself since he wasn't replying for a few days. Pick up the car and it's misfiring as it was before, tie rods and ball joints are same and not changed. I sent him $1,080 in total wasted 2 weeks of my life. Admitted to me and police that tie rods and ball joints he lied about, ultimately swore up and down the spark plugs he did replace, i took the car to a reputable shop and paid for an inspection they said spark plugs were not done, no threads were done and the spark plugs I brought to this scammer I don't know what he did with them but they arnt in my car so he stole them too. Stopped replying to my text. People like this monkey is why we have a justice system. Yet he will post grand quotes about honest business and integrity in his Facebook page. He is a loser, with dirty hands and dirty money! Also when I came to pick my car up, door handle was broken, upholstery stained and air intake in trunk not assembled. Once my car was done being worked on, the tech José and the manager Jeka made certain to explain what was going on with my car (power window regulator was bent) and what my options were before I authorized any additional work. I opted not to proceed with replacing the part since I'm likely replacing the car soon and did not feel pressured at all to change my mind. The window was placed back on track and José was great advising me how to proceed with the window moving forward to keep this from happening again.
