Can't stand these guys. They did a major job at my apartment building and were here for a week. All of the work being done was happening right outside of my window which was extremely loud and disruptive but, whatever, the job needed to be done and the disruption comes with the territory. My complaint here is with the blatant unprofessionalism I witnessed from the employees (I don't know their names). Aside from trying to work from home with all of the noise happening outside (again, comes with the territory), I was also in earshot of everything being said by the employees. Constant locker room talk and some things so nasty I won't repeat them here. Very unprofessional when you are doing work right outside of someone's home. The employees who performed the work at my building were flat out obnoxious and made an already challenging time even more unbearable. They also turned off the power in our laundry room, where our water heater is located, and left us without hot water overnight and without exterior building lighting without any notice. There were a lot of communication issues of which I have not figured out whom is at fault but it resulted in the residents having to give access to their units without prior notice on more than one occasion. read more

You did not say that you would look at the job before telling us the cost. You made an assumption of what it would cost over the phone, gave us a dollar amount and we had no reason to assume it would change. Had you said it might be less once a technician looked at the issue, we might not have cancelled the job. In any case, as we said earlier, it really was a blessing in disguise as we found a local, honest and reasonable electrical company that we would not have found otherwise. You actually did us a favor. And you shouldn't refer to yourself in the 3rd person, that's just odd. read more

Here's the thing I had a great experience when Leland sent David out to my property for a light install.. I wanted to hire them again, but Leland ghosted me. These guys are the best. I had a situation at home and another electrician from a different company made things worse and tried to overcharge us, so I called B&K in desperation. Leland was really helpful right from the beginning, being very communicative, even tried to troubleshoot with me over the phone. Their pricing was transparent and reasonable. They sent someone to fix the problem very soon, and when the same problem occurred on the same circuit a day after their initial visit, they sent someone same-day to fix it again with no additional charge. Our HOA recommended them so we called but he told us to text them to schedule. We did and he did not respond... we pinged again and all he responded was "Tomorrow PM" ... we requested specific time and he never responded nor showed up nor followed up. We reported to HOA and will be scheduling with someone else. Terrible experience before the actual service. Being non-responsive is the easiest and they screwed up on that one. I couldn't recommend B&K more. I had a grounding issue on an overhead can, a burnt out dimmer, and mis-wired landscape lighting. B&K was right on time, friendly, professional, and did fantastic work. Not only did he take care of all the issues immediately and bring exactly the right parts, he even noticed an error on charging me and came back right away to fix it.
