2025 is now 10 years since B-Dry installed a French drain and sump pump in our small basement. We got their referral from a neighbor. After living in the house for 20 years with a dry basement, suddenly after an exceptionally long and soaking rain, our basement sprung a leak and filled up with a foot of water. This was later determined to be an underground spring that found it's way to our basement. B-Dry's sump pump runs 24/7 year round and is connected via a PVC pipe under ground then under our driveway and direct into the storm water drain. It has a battery backup so the few times we had a power failure it continued working. The installation wasn't cheap - about $10,000 in 2015 but I am happy with it. read more

After a periodic basement flooding problem I contacted BDry for a quote and ended up scheduling an install of their drainage system. The project cost me about $15,000 to install a system around the perimeter of my basement. The work was loud, messy, took forever to complete (about 3 weeks) and when it was done I was left with repairing all the drywall, replacing flooring, and restoring finishes, etc in my finished basement....... AND MY FLOODING WAS NOT FIXED. My basement flooded TODAY for the 6th time since the job was completed. This firm is in no hurry to do anything to address this for me so I may have to contact another firm if I want my basement to "be dry." Please save yourself the time, aggravation and expense and look elsewhere for your waterproofing needs. read more

The short story is that BDry does not care about customer service. Save yourself the aggravation and call Worldwide Waterproofing instead. The long story follows: A consultant from BDry came to our home in August 2018 to inspect flooding in our basement. After we signed a contract, we were told that a scheduler would call to set up the service. When she called, she told us that the earliest date for service was in early December. Having signed a contract, and with little other choice, we agreed to the December date. At 7 am on the morning of the installation date, BDry's technician cancelled the work, citing rain in the forecast. There was a 90% chance of rain starting at 6 pm that day AND the work was to be done inside. It did not start raining until almost 7 pm, but the work was not performed. We were then told that someone would call to reschedule. Three days later, BDry called to tell us that the earliest new date we could schedule was in mid-February 2019. When I told her that was unacceptable to us, she gave me the phone number for a sales and operations director (Brian). I called him three times and left voicemails, but never heard from him. I then called the consultant who originally came to our house (Richard), who promised to get to the bottom of the delay. As of January 10, I am still waiting for his call back. BDry never actually rescheduled or cancelled our work. We wasted from August to January waiting for BDry. I highly recommend against calling BDry. Worldwide Waterproofing did the same job for the same price with next day service. read more

I am sorry to say that B dry waterproofing did not live up to the expectations I had an appointment that was confirmed by their corporate offices in Tennessee via email as well as phone however on the day of the appointment I called after no one arrived 30 minutes after the designated appointment time I called the corporate office to try to find both the service call person as well as the supervisor. No one ever contacted me again. I would never recommend Bdry waterproofing. I wasted my time waiting for appointment and rushing home from work. Very disappointed that no one called back with explanation. read more

When we bought our new place, the biggest item in the home inspection was that the crawlspace needed to be waterproofed and we need a new sump pump. We had a few companies come out and B Dry gave the most detailed and reasonable estimate. The hardest part in working with them was tracking them down and hounding them to actually take our business and get the work started, but after it did, the guys came on time and did a good job. read more

I wished I could say that their customer service is functional. I have been trying to get an appointment for weeks to somebody come out to check our system which simply does not seem to be working. I have stayed on the line for long periods at a time, I have left messages with various people that have remained unanswered but all my efforts have been fruitless. Not sure how a company can do business under these circumstances or expect that I would recommend them to friends or family members. I must say, they were very eager to sell us a system but their business interest seems to end there despite the fact that they offer a life time warranty. read more

Bdry....These guys will provide anything but. I had them out to replace my old sump and add in a battery backup. I also had them put the discharge line out the front of the house instead of the back so that the water would flow naturally away from the house. About a month after the install I noticed that the cinder block wall was wet lining up with the new line. I emailed my sales rep and asked him to send someone out to make sure that there wasn't a residual leak somewhere. There "VP" came out and claimed that his "13 years of experience" was sure that it was soil moisture that was pushing into the cinder blocks and had nothing to do with the install. It was clear that he didn't want to check the work and was only coming up with excuses at that point. So I dug up the line outside myself. Where the pipe exits the house wasn't sealed, calked or anything and there is a gapping hole. Also looking at the pipe that leads out of the house, the pipe doesn't slop away from the house but back into the house. So the water can't naturally flow away from the house, instead it wants to come back into it. Terrible, un-professional, and wrong work. The discharge pipe will have to be re-done along with the hole they left that wasn't sealed. No telling what type of job they did in the sump area yet, but I've seen and dealt with enough to know that these guys don't know what they are doing and will take your money, do a poor job, and run. I've sent pictures, emailed, and called and no response. I would highly recommend NOT using these guys, they are not pros, but rather horrible contractors that are giving the business a bad rep. read more

I originally heard about bdry on Angies list, and they installed a sump pump in my house in 2007. Not only do they have a lifetime warrenty on their system, but they have good customer service even after you have buy the system! I called them in 2011 bc I was concerned about my battery back up in advance of hurricane irene and they were very helpful on the phone, and even called me back when MY phone dropped the call mid conversation. The installation was very professional, and the price, though not the cheapest, was reasonable and worth it bc of quality. You don't want to go cheap and receive a shoddy job on waterproofing. read more
