I don't even know how to start this review. I just know the damn steaks are good…read more I simply wanted to go to a bar that night that I hadn't been to before. I remembered months ago passing by this area and realized that this place was under a different name. Many months later this place came to mind when I was, as I said, looking for a bar that I hadn't been to before. So I pulled up and on the outside it had a strip club feel. You know, no windows and dark. Except there was this BBQ pit sitting up front. We walk in and curved around the blocking wall (strip club look again) and voila; A regular looking bar. That simple. Let's just say that everyone was super friendly. We were sat at a table by the host or some sort and I noticed that smoking was allowed in there. I know, I know, it's 2021 and they allow smoking? It was an instant red flag for me but since I didn't smell it too strong I decided to stay. Now it was a Wednesday night and the crowd was really lite and pretty much all were a bit in the over 45 range. Nevertheless the bartenders were younger and so was much of the staff. The music was a surprise as it was Karaoke night and Steak Night. (Win freaking win is you ask me.) Damn right I stayed. The drinks were actually made well and I'm judged that only by my Jack and cokes I ordered. However what led me to write this review is honestly one thing ... The Steak!!! Who would have thunk!? That in the guise of a neighborhood bar that there was an underground unknown chef at work who had the talents of putting together an incredibly outstanding 16oz rib eye steak! This steak I tell you was simply ... Well... BadAss. Now I'm talking about the steak and not the sides. Who cares about the sides. But for those who do the green beans were very good, and fresh at that. The baked potato was a bit small but that's not what I was ordering it for. I was wanting the steak. In fact I would have given this place 5 stars and most of that is due to the steak. But this place allows smoking and I cannot give 5 stars to a smoking establishment. It's just not right. I placed my order and soon after saw this guy pass by with a raw steak on a plate heading for the front. I knew then that that was my steak heading to the grill I passed by coming in. I don't know about you, but dammit I knew at that point I was in for a treat. My steak came back exactly how I ordered it. Medium. It .. was.. perfect. Well worth the $19.99 I paid for it. I promise you if it had a bone I would have eaten that too. I stayed a bit longer after I ate and was totally feeling the Jacks I had been ordering. Was honored to speak with the chef and even bought some of his seasonings that he was selling. I ending up singing a couple of songs and meeting some great people and wonderful bartenders before heading out. Had a great night there but at the end if the damn day... I'm not a bar owner but I'm pretty sure that's not a good idea. Also the one picture on Google Reviews is far more "representative" of his place. Fast Eddie's is in a tiny industrial park. I don't even recognize the pictures on Yelp lol! Anyway: Eddie claims to own the last of the "ice houses" as they are called. The beers are $2.50 (about the cheapest in town) and you can bring your own liquor and for about the same price one of his girls will sell you a glass of soda to mix with it. The only problem with this concept is that it brings in the clique. They're generally real drinkers and smokers, on a budget, whites only of course, and not particularly well educated yet they will give you their opinion on politics, religion and just about anything else whether you want it or not lol. The beer is generally cold enough but bring cash; if you run a credit tab you have to drink at least four brews (enough to render most men legally drunk unless you eat with it and they don't serve food) or you will be presented a duck for each beer of four you don't drink. I used to come in once in a while (with cash) I hate that duck thing as I have no where to keep toy ducks lol. However one of their long time regulars told Eddie his version of a verbal altercation between he and I; that could have ended up outside and I was invited not to come back for a time. That was roughly two years ago. I was then invited back by Eddie a few weeks ago because I see him often enough at "whatever"; and was coming in for my seventh time (I was a model of politeness and on my best behavior) when I was told by one of Eddie's girls that on of the "clique" had suggested that on the previous occasion (a birthday party as I recall) that I had absconded with two of his "ducks" net worth in U.S. currency $5 and I was barred again. WTF! First off: 1. People who live in $300,000 dollar homes don't shoplift anything. 2. U.S. Patent Holders with advanced degrees in Math, Physics and Engineering don't either. 3. People with a six figure salary history who retire at 49 don't lift toy ducks they cant stand. 4. I've got to quit "slumming"! I like ordinary people but you just can't take them anywhere lol!

Had an extra unauthorized charge on my account AFTER closing out my tab. Left the bar Saturday…read more12/13 around 10:30pm- my total was $41and I left a $10 tip. Woke up next day and seen there was a seperate $71 charge In my account. I tried contacting the bar was unable to get ahold of anyone. The next day seen that the unauthorized charge went from $71 to $91. had to drive all the way back to Headliners to speak with manager. The bartender stated manager was not in and to leave my contact information and they would call me and I have not heard from them. If I closed out my tab at $51 And left the bar there should have been NO more charges to my card at all. Hoping to get this resolved asap.

It was my first time visiting a country club and I must say I had the most fabulous time ever! There was country music and line dancing galore! The overall ambiance and vibe of the club was raging with excitement and pure energy. It's absolutely enormous inside and there's more than one bar available at this establishment. With all the many dancers crowding the dance floor, it's a good thing this place is humongous. However, the ironic thing about all that space is that there's extremely limited seating availability provided; that is if you have not reserved a table for a birthday party. It seemed like every table was reserved for a party because my daughter and I walked every inch of that club and could not find an available table to sit at because they were all reserved for a party. However, there were plenty of seats around the dance floor, but they were taken as well. So, my advice would be to reserve a table in advance even if you are not celebrating a birthday party. This will at least ensure that you have somewhere to sit and rest your feet after leaving the dance floor. My friend, the birthday girl, did not reserve a table for her party thinking that there would be abandoned tables in the building. Big huge mistake. Furthermore, we ordered drinks all night because the prices were inexpensive. Be prepared to leave tips for the bartender if they truly deserve the tip. As I mentioned previously, there is more than one bar in this establishment. At the bar located to the immediate right as you first enter the entrance doors, there was a blonde haired female bartender and a Latino male bartender working that particular area. We tried placing our order with the male bartender first who would not speak up for us to understand him. She asked us what we wanted to drink and I responded to her, "Ma'am we are asking you and the gentleman for any suggestions because we are indecisive at the moment." She kept acting like a "dumb blonde" as if she did not know what to suggest so we just asked for a lemon drop which was okay. It wasn't strong at all and watery. I left her a tip and moved along. I was not pleased at all with the way they treated us. As a result of the lackadaisical bartenders at the first bar, my daughter and I decided to move to the back of the building and visit the other bar. This bartender was on and popping! He was very entertaining, friendly, and welcoming. He also had a mini chalkboard on display that listed the featured drinks of the night. Now this is what I was asking the other two unfriendly and unwelcoming bartenders about their featured drinks on the menu because they did not have a menu on display, or even offer a menu, or even suggest that we scan a QR code to see the drinks menu. Keep in mind this was my first time and my daughter's first time visiting this place so we were kind of lost. However, the other bartender is located directly in the back. When you first enter the doors you can see him working hard mixing and shaking drinks and serving the crowd like a professional mixologist. He was down-to-earth friendly and relatable. I spent all my dollars and tip money at his bar for the rest of the night and I purchased plenty of drinks all night. If I ever return to this establishment I will never patronize the other two bartenders. They need to stay at home because they do not know how to entertain their guests properly. Overall, Whiskey River is an exciting and fun place to be on a Friday or Saturday night if you want to dance or even ride the bull. Bull riding was fun but impossible to stay on during the whole ride. You will get thrown off no matter what. From the looks of the bull, it seems as if it's designed for you not to be able to stay on. Everyone gets thrown off no matter how hard you try to stay on, but it was so much fun! The dance floor is a nice size but can get overcrowded. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the beef quesadillas. Be prepared to show your ID before entering the building. There's a bouncer at the door asking the guests to show identification before being admitted. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the two rude bartenders' sore attitudes.

We had a $35 table and it was center near rear and next to bathroom which was convenient. If you don't reserve a table show up early for show.. Service was great even with it being packed. We ordered drinks 3-4 times and each time the wait time was no issue we got our drinks pretty fast. Bathrooms were clean and no issues. And our tab was accurate. The entertainment crew were really good, kept the crowd involved and had jokes and adult rated material at times. We had a great time and will go back again.
