One thing tho, definitely lacks in the mandarin oranges and since the dressing is thick? It doesn't go all over the salad evenly, might want to ask for a second dressing next time. I take fitness pretty seriously so wanted to give this place a try. The taste itself was really good for what it is. After trying some premade bowls and a custom bowl, I would recommend making your own custom bowl. The price is a bit better and you can pick the right protein, carbs and greens that you enjoy. In terms of the content itself, it's stuff you can make at home but if you're feeling lazy, this is a great alternate to stay fit. It's a great balance of macros to hit the fitness goals that you maybe aiming for. Nice little spot and you can park in front. I'll be back when I don't feel like cooking! My last review to B Nutritious was 5 years ago and it was very short with no information, so here am I with an update. My family and I have been big fans of this place since day one. We are returning customers and I'll tell you why.... Food: Meals are always made to order and with the freshest ingredients. I can place my order online or over the phone a day before or even sometimes within the hour of the same day. With placing my food orders in advance I still know it will be made fresh to order. I can say I've tried majority of the meals on the menu and I have not been disappointed. Everything is cooked to perfection with tons of healthy delicious flavors. This is basically a healthy food take on standard Asian meals. I can tell with the way they portion out the food and meat that the menu is designed to be conscious of one's macronutrient intake. Taste-wise the food is not bad. I got the peanut chicken and orange chicken. At first I liked the orange chicken better, but then I realized it's because the peanut chicken sauce wasn't well dispersed. Price is very reasonable although you'll have to pay more for brown rice and vegetables. This could become a regular lunch option for me given the price and a desire to eat healthier. This is my 1st visit in over 5 years and I have to say I was very disappointed. For starters the location was definitely clean and the employee who rung me up was nice and patiently answered my questions but unfortunately to much surprise he couldn't tell me the macros for the meal I was ordering or any meal ! You can build your own bowl with your choice of carbs, choice of veggie, and one choice of cooked proteins. The choice of carbs include brown rice, jasmine rice, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. The choice of veggie include broccoli, asparagus, spinach, green beans, and cabbage. The choices of proteins include chicken, ground beef, steak, ground turkey, pork chop, tilapia, salmon, shrimp, and tofu. Each cooked protein has it's own set price which could range anywhere from $8.50 to $13.75. If you don't want to build your own bowl, you can order salad or house favorites. Some of the house favorites include dishes like chow mein, pineapple fried rice, teriyaki chicken, tangy shrimp, and orange chicken. They also have meal plans. By the way, they don't have soda here so if you're like me who needs carbonated beverages with food then you're out of luck. I ordered a Peanut Chicken Bowl. Lots of chicken pieces. The chicken pieces were packed with peanut flavor. Some of the chicken pieces were chewy and some of the chicken pieces were tender. The white rice was a bit crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They say they use jasmine rice but what I had didn't seem like it was jasmine rice. It wasn't fragrant and the texture and shape were off. The peanut sauce had saved the rice though as it made the texture softer. The peanut sauce was delicious, reminded me of the peanut sauce they use for Thai satay. The service was great. The cashiers were engaging, warm, and friendly. The restaurant is large and spacious. I've been coming here for about two years now and the food is always FRESH. Customer service is also amazing, whenever they've made a mistake (hardly ever) on my meal prep orders, they will remake it and own up to it without hesitations. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Order: chicken breast, asparagus, and potatoes I'm a pretty lazy person when it comes to cooking. For convenience this location can do local pickup meals for your workout routine. I am a little upset at the portions though. Not enough of everything. I understand chicken breast is commonly dry when cooked, but it seems too dry and overcompensated with seasoning. Price is slightly higher than I expect but I think it's fair since inflation. I think they're trying to get you into their meal plans that would save you a bit (not a lot) of money.
