This is my very first 5-star review, and it's with great reason! My reviews aren't short, but if you want to know exactly what you can expect from B.Spoke then I encourage you to read on. The most important day of my life, my wedding day, was on January 30, 2016. With such an important milestone in my life I knew that I wanted my attire to be as equally special as possible. I don't have a tree in my backyard that grows money so I had never even thought about having anything custom made for me before. Frankly, for someone who likes to dress well, I am kicking myself for waiting this long to explore the option and have the experience. The entire process, A-Z, was absolutely remarkable! I specifically say "experience" because that's truly what my designer, Dan Faithe, gave me. From our first phone call to discuss the general logistics through picking up my freshly pressed suit on the day-of I was beyond well taken care of. Dan went above and beyond, and sincerely made sure that I was comfortable throughout the process, that I didn't feel rushed or silly for asking questions, and most importantly that I was happy. Dan's business, first and foremost, is building relationships with his clients, and from moment one I felt like part of his family. During my first phone call with Dan we spoke about what I had imagined in my mind for what I would like to have made. I didn't have a lot of the details ironed out in my head, because I knew that if I were to proceed that there would be countless options available to me while we built my suit together. With a vague idea of what I wanted laid out we discussed cost. Dan assured me that the budget I had in mind was absolutely something that he could work with. Again, I'm a 32 year old businessman that isn't overflowing with money, but I do understand the cost of true value. My first visit to B.Spoke left me grinning from ear to ear for hours after I had left. I was enthusiastically, and kindly greeted by Dan and was quickly offered a drink. B.Spoke has a very nice bar selection available to all of its clients. With a drink in hand Dan showed me around the shop and made sure I felt right at home. I wasn't sure what to expect heading in for my first appointment, but their shop is stunning! All-in-all it's a man cave equipped with multiple flat-panel TV's, pool table, lounge areas, etc. I was also beyond impressed with the displays that they have around the shop as well - I could spend hours just looking around at the samples. From there we sat down and chatted a bit more about my vision. It wasn't long before the table we were sitting at was full of fabric samples from the finest mills in Italy. We chose the main fabric, liner, accent stitch coloring, and button types. Then we started talking about styling: lapels, vents, angle and positioning of pockets, how many pockets, functional this and that, types of collars and cuffs, accessories, etc. There is no limit to what Dan and B.Spoke can offer you - if you can think it they can build it. Dan offered his opinions, but in no way made me feel pressured to go along with anything if I wasn't 100% on board. He'll push your comfort levels with certain things which at first I wasn't sure about, but when done are some of my most favorite features. Bottom line - Dan knows what he's talking about, and you can be rest assured that you're in great hands with him! After the fun of all the selections were made we started the measuring process. You stand there for a while (drink in hand preferably) as they take measurement after measurement. Dan measured things that I didn't even knew mattered when building a suit. The take away for me was that I knew everything was going to fit like a glove, and being that my suit color was black it needed to have an impeccable fit. A few short weeks later my attire had arrived. When I arrived it felt as though the shop was set up for my arrival. Drinks were ready if I wanted (I did), and my suit was perfectly laid out for me to soak in and enjoy all the details. Dan took what I thought was going to be an incredible suit even further by adding some personal touches to the garments. Things that you would never know were there unless I chose to show them off - like my name on the inside of my suit breast, "I DO!" stitched under the collar of the jacket since Dan knew this was for my wedding. Everything was exactly how I wanted it and more. The fitting went so well with their master tailor too. There was an adjustment here and there that needed to be done, and they were done by the next day! Dan stopped at nothing to make sure that the entire experience for me was special. Even to the point of offering to come to the wedding venue to tie our bowties (which I had custom made by B.Spoke for all of my groomsmen) if needed. As long as this review is it doesn't start to envelope my experience. B.Spoke, but more specifically Dan, has a customer for life. read more

This place is amazing! I needed to find a suit for my wedding and I'm glad I decided to check this place out. When I first came in, I was greeted by Dan who offered snack and drinks while he got some things ready for me to look at. Everything was clean and Dan was the perfect example of a professional who knew how to cater to and interact with his customers. When I came to pick up my suit and shirt, my shirt had not arrived even though it was supposed to. HOWEVER, Blake actually took the time to run after the UPS guy in order to figure out and get the shipment. They are very honest with all their prices, do not try to hassle or make you feel uneasy. tl;dr: if you know exactly what you want and want a minimal suit-ordering experience, this place works fine. No alarming problems. If you're looking for great customer service, go somewhere else. We went here because they have great yelp review and they're on the preferred vendor list our wedding planner gave us. I'm really disappointed to report that the service is really not up to par with the price. The initial appointment took an hour, where they spent ~20min taking lots of measurements (which was fine & the tailor was nice). We then sat down with a "stylist" to talk about fabric and colour and things like that. It really puzzles me why they're called "stylists" because we got no real advice on anything. It was going to be my fiance's first suit so we were hoping we'd get some more detailed explanation of the different cut/fabric/colour/etc. Nope. Nothing. We just chose whatever we thought were nice and have no idea whether they'd come together well. All colour judgments were based on fabric pieces of the size of your palm, too. No idea how it'd look in suit-size. No sample suit either. I explicitly told them we were looking for advice but it seems they only really serve people who know what they're doing. So we paid for the suit that day (all payment upfront, which seems to be standard). It was ~$1500, which was what we expected. We then went home with a physical payment receipt and, despite having taken detailed contact information from us, we received no followup about the suit. We received an email about having earned some points, but no email about having ordered a suit or the pickup date or the order number. I receive confirmation emails after I order a 15-dollar pizza. You'd expect a 1500-dollar suit would warrant some electronic confirmation. We later decided that we want the suit rushed, so we emailed the stylist asking whether it's possible & how much it'd cost. We sent the email Friday afternoon before closing time and didn't hear back until the afternoon of the next business day when we decided to call. Rush fee had to be paid upfront too, by the way. We picked it up in time. Again: we had to call in around the time we thought it'd be ready and found out that it was ready that day. They said they were going to send an email later that day. Maybe that's true. I was hoping we'd be more informed on when the suit would be ready, since the timing was rather tight. The suit fit great. I don't know a lot about suit quality but it seemed nice. It was wrinkled and had fuzz and stuff on it. It didn't seem like they ironed it or anything. Again, not exactly in the contract, but something you'd expect after having spent a grand. The overall experience is this: you go in and they'll do whatever minimum they need to send your order to some sweatshop abroad in exchange for your money. Then they stop caring. read more

My husband needed a suit tailored and we found this reputable company through yelp, we saw the reviews and were excited to come in! The b.spoke store is in an office compound, very professional and easy to find. We loved the atmosphere-there were beautiful leather couches where I could sit while my husband was getting fitted into his suit. There was an array of suits, and fabric selections and even a bar! My only experience with suits prior to this was Men's Wearhouse and all I know is that I've never liked the way I looked in their suits. Every time I've bought one I've had to spend a fortune on getting it tailored by someone else to make it look like it remotely looks good on me. Enter....B.spoke. I have a wedding approaching and I knew I wanted 2 things 1. To own my suit and 2. to look damn good. A friend of mine came here and he looked fantastic for his wedding so I knew I had to come here. I called and Blake helped set me up with an appointment with Dan. My first impression walking in was that the place is very chic, modern and relaxed. They have a bar, snacks, pool table, and a TV, it really feels like being inside someone's home. Being someone who is not accustomed to such fine things in life, I was a little worried that I may be in the wrong place and perhaps I should look to go somewhere that may fit my budget better. All of those worries were extinguished when I met Dan and Blake. Dan was very personable and helpful, immediately helping me feel comfortable by offering me a drink and a seat at the table to look at samples. I told him my budget, worried I may be out of luck but he reassured me that we can find something for me in that price range. He was very helpful in picking out styles, fabrics, colors and patterns. I knew I wanted blue and that was about it. The consultation took a little over an hour, it included the picking and designing of the suit and the fitting. I received my garment a few days ago and I am blown away by how amazing it came out! I'm bummed I have to wait until April to wear it again, so I'm already saving some money for my next purchase. The suit fits like a glove, as soon as I put it on I knew I can never go back to "off the rack" ever again. I recently came back to B.spoke for more shirts and a suit. Dave personally helped me out this time and his service was nothing less of spectacular. I booked an appointment with him and he gave me a lot of advice on what style and fabric to use.
