The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, in the far East side of pueblo, where all the farms are. They own one of them, The Musso Farm, which in my opinion, is the best of all pueblo farms. I have visited their farms a couple of time and wanted to give the restaurant a try. The place inside is cute, I like their decor. The place do not impress from the outside, but the inside is better, trust me. The staff is just ok, I which the waitress had told me that the food I ordered for my daughter was spicy. Even my food was to spicy, I can't not finish the Sicilian sausage sandwich. I was crying while eating half of it. I took most of the food home to eat it the next day because my mouth was on fire. So, I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes spicy food.

What the heck is a CHIMIBURGER? Awesome, that's what. Plus there's something about green chile sauce over everything including the fries that makes it to die for. Literally...because who knows what kind of (bad) nutrition is in the entire meal. But that doesn't exactly come to mind while you're digging in. The only reason I knocked it down a star is because of the service...While the lady was super sweet, she was considerably slow to take our orders even though we were one of the first ones there. The other waitress seemed pre-occupied "socializing" with some regulars. I don't know how the waitstaff is supposed to be run, but they don't seem to be doing so efficiently.

Very good place! Enjoyed the Chile and the Italian sausage with the Tejanas. Family run with a warm atmosphere and cute local products in their shop portion of the restaurant as well. Will be back!

I had an amazing breakfast burrito with Sicilian sausage. The staff that took care of our large family was incredible. The kids love he fact that the menu includes chocolate pancakes. Immediately became a can't-miss place to eat when we visit Pueblo.

The restaurant has a cozy, homey feel with sea-themed décor -- things like fishing nets, crab cages, and other nautical touches that make it feel like a neighborhood seafood spot. We started with their signature crab cake, which was thin, nicely cooked, and drizzled with a flavorful bistro sauce. For our main dish we had the daily fish special, a flaky grilled fish that was lightly seasoned and served with well-cooked vegetables and risoni pasta. The green beans were especially memorable -- perfectly crispy, which reminded me how much I love them prepared that way. The staff was friendly and helpful, even recommending the $8 wine special, which was a great value. Overall, a welcoming neighborhood restaurant downtown Pueblo with great seafood and a relaxed atmosphere.

There are shaded tables, plus the light breeze made it delightful. Service is friendly and quick. House salad is well presented. A nice mix of freshly cut veggies. Reuben is excellent. The pastrami tastes smoked, which is a unique twist to this NY deli fan. It's hand-sliced thin, topped with sauerkraut and melted swiss, slathered with thousand island dressing and served on toasted rye. Very good rendition of this knife & fork sandwich. Could resist chocolate lava cake. Because what's lunch without dessert??? :-) It's a hockey-puck sized chocolate cake, covered with molten chocolate. Inside, the cavity is filled with more molten chocolate. For the chocoholic, this one is a must. Pro Tip - filling is HOT! This is a great little spot. Try it!

We were thrilled that Pueblo actually got one earlier this years. This is our first time dining at this location since their 'pre-opening' test opening. We have been hearing rumours about service issues. It was time to check it out. This is our experience: We walked in at early supper hour, The room was about 60% full. It seemed they might have been a bit short staffed. We went for their AYCE Friday fish feed. Upon inquiry, it turned out that the fish offered for AYCE is pollock, whereas that in their regular fish and chips menu offering is cod. We elected to have the fish and chips, which is actually a dollar less costly. They messed up the order, sadly. We received the pollock plate with two pieces. Turned out, our server must have grabbed the wrong plates, as the manager told us that our order sat on the counter for 30 minutes unclaimed. My wife had requested hash browns, but her plate came with fries, mine did also, despite having substituted a salad for them. The salad did come and was a decent size for a side salad. Strangely, since we got the 'AKCE' plate, which was supposed to have hushpuppies, we didn't receive those. The fish was well prepared, for what it was, but it was not cod. Coleslaw was included. I found it OK; Angelika didn't like it because it essentially had no dressing. We decided to have dessert. The mixed berry cobbler was passable. Crust was top only, nicely baked; the filling was kind of.... OK: standard canned or frozen pie filling. I ordered a chocolate malt. It was satisfactory. Plenty of it and had good chocolate and malt flavor. Our server, Erica, was pleasant, friendly and attentive, despite bringing the wrong plates. It seemed that she was probably handling too many tables, however. Service time from entry to receiving our meals was pretty standard, so no complaints about that. Upon paying, we happened to talk a bit with a woman who seemed to be the manager. She told us about the apparent error in our order. We mentioned that we are both veterans and she gave us their discount, plus comping some of the price of the meal, probably because of the error. We love Black Bear diner. We want to see our local restaurant succeed. So, give it a try, because they do seem to be working on meeting Black Bear's standards.

I've been here 3 times, and each time has been bad. Pros: I always get seated right away because no one is here. That's it. Cons: Rude service. The servers act like they don't want to be there. They are always out of what seems like half the menu. The juices are watered down. Luckily only once, but the hash browns were so overcooked I asked for less cooked ones and got soggy hashbrowns. It's a shoot to see if they have food on hand. You never see a manager walking around. The manager doesn't know how to prepare for the day's food. Always shorthand. Recommended? No. Village Inn and Cracker Barrel has better food and you know the menu will be stocked. I'm done coming here. I'll continue going to the Springs location because I always know I'll get what I want to order.

Shuga's Favorite Cafe Tray is an order that could satisfy one's entire meal but is best when shared as a starter or if you are looking for a light meal. The Mediterranean selection with the hummus and tapenade is amazing with the coconut shrimp soup being a must try with its creamy and spiciness. Though I love the almond butter cake the most to add a little dessert to the meal. The Madame of the Pletzl is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bagel is perfectly salted and has a wonderful crunch the sandwich needs. The egg melts into the sandwich, mixing with everything it needs to. The ham is fried up to crisp it up a bit but the ham seems to be lacking flavor wise compared to everything else in the sandwich. The Cuban Mojo Sandwich also is an amazing sandwich. The pork shoulder is crisped up nicely and works so well with everything else. The winter soup was a tomato soup with some grilled cheese croutons and it is the best tomato soup I've ever had. The tomato soup isn't puréed, there are noticeable definitions in the tomatoes in the soup. The soup isn't too acidic which is the usual issue in tomato soups. The croutons really amplify this dish on to another level and I just wish there were more in my soup. I can't wait to come back here and my biggest issue will to try and order new things.
