We went for Mother's Day buffet. Overal, it was well run, with good food, and good service. They suffered from the usual lukewarm food, but they did try replacing food. Prime Rib was excellent as was the ham. The weakest area was probably deserts. The staff said they always have it for major holidays. Decided since the soups were just ok we'd ordered the wood fired pizza which was below average and basic. The Margherita was missing basil sauce and cheese- I've had better frozen pizza. I've been here a couple of times now. The place is nice enough. The food is fine. I'd put it on par with the other places in the area like Fridays and a bit below BJ's. The problem is they price themselves at a higher tier making the food not really worth it. I'd go back if other places were too packed, but to me the food isn't high enough level to justify the extra cost. read more

I am a longtime fan of B2 bistro and I do recommend that you go there and have some custom drinks some of the small independent beer companies, including the mango beer which I personally like and the specials are decent and service is friendly. I think you'll like it. read more

When the Brussels sprouts are available they are some of the best I have eaten. Nice selection at happy hour. Drinks are well made and have adequate portions of alcohol. read more

Place is a good spot to get good food and plenty of seating around the bar. The menu has a lot to offer between Pizza, sushi and everything in between. Recently went and was seated right away on a Saturday. I recommend checking out the pizza and dessert for sure. And they had a nice area where you can rent out and have a private party. read more

We heard great things about this place from a few different friends. We finally got the chance to try it and they were right. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. We had sushi, grilled octopus and of course the fries which are fresh cut. They are still in the process of renovating and I can't wait to see the final results. B2 is worth the visit if looking for solid pub like fare. The menu is not overly extensive but offered some variety. The service was good and friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant space was nice and clean - although construction appears to be continuing as a room was left dim and a plain wall blocked what I assume is construction. We enjoyed our dishes - but for one - buffalo chicken wings were dry -maybe over cooked ? Otherwise It is worth the visit. read more

We had gone to the B2 in Point Pleasant and loved it. This one in Toms River was meh. (And that's a compliment.) It took 45 minutes to bring out appetizers and another 30 minutes after that to bring out the entrees. We mentioned this to the server and she replied, "I didn't realize you were in a hurry." The food was NOT worth the money- The crab cake was like eating wet cement and just as bland and I had the filet as an entree. The cow from which the filet was cut is wondering why it was sacrificed for such a stringy, tasteless, uninspired piece of meat. B2 or not B2? That is the question. Our waitress was Jordan she was knowledgeable and tentative, the thia chili calamari was amazing, the fresh oysters were exactly that FRESH and paired with great toppings and a charcuterie board which was beyond my expectations. We also ordered sushi which was delicious. For our main entree we had the had a French dip and crab cake club. This is our new favorite restaurant while in the area. They have an amazing menu filled with everything from sushi to steaks, hamburgers, salads. If you can't find something on this menu, you have difficulties with eating. We've gone here so far three times over the past two weeks and each time the visit was amazing. We've had the hamburgers, the steak, some sushi, Caesar salad. Their drinks have a good pour. I don't consider it expensive. We've also had the pork belly appetizer, which was delicious. Definitely seems to be a local favorite spot. Looks like a great meeting place. We will definitely be back on our next visit. read more
