Great place to grab a cheap sandwich. Ordering is a little difficult as their first language is Vietnamese. We've tried a few different sandwiches but I'm not sure how we'd reorder them as I don't know what meats they were!!! It's kinda like mystery meats! I wanted to try Ba Le when my mom came in town so we went there around 12pm, there was no one at the front to get seats and when we got a seat we started to order, the waitress was very rude like she was having a bad day, and she was making us feel rushed and eager to order so I wanted the beef ribs pho and she only spoke Vietnamese, finally I just told her I wanted the beef pho and she put it in. Finally got the food out and there were barely any noodles in it, the broth was good, but the attitude of the waitress was so sour I couldn't eat well. Okay this is probably the best Pho, Bun Bo Hue and Bahn Mi I've had in the states. Coming from someone who's a foodie from NY and even been to Virginia Eden center and this spot beats all of em. Found this spot from following Alyssa Nguyen (aka tiktoker gaming_foodie) and let me tell you she was not exaggerating. This spot was so good. The brisket fell off the bone and the Bun Bo Hue had so much flavor and a great kick. The Bahn Mi was perfectly toasted yet soft centered with the freshest ingredients. We went out here on our way to the rodeo show at Fort Worth stockyards. So if y'all planning to visit Dallas and heading out here for a rodeo show make sure yall stop by this spot too (30 mins away from Dallas and stockyards). You're not going to regret the drive out here. Decades later, Ba Le still makes the best banh mi dac biet with the freshest bread! I used to work not too far from this location and would pop in at least once every other week for the same thing. I recommend bringing cash because there is an extra % charge with credit cards. This location really should be 5 stars for the food, but the customer service here is so lackluster - I've been here an infinite number of times, but it's very obvious that the ladies behind the register treat you differently if you cannot speak Vietnamese. I have even avoided this place on occasion when craving a banh mi because I didn't want to deal with an old Asian lady scowling at me during my lunch break. Oh my goodness. My friend told me that this place was her go-to for excellent Pho, and she was absolutely spot on. A very authentic location, Ba Le has some delicious options. I went for the big beef bowl, with came with two beef ribs and plenty of meat...I had a hard time trying to finish the bowl, even though I truly tried. I mean, that flavor was incredibly good, it was perfectly seasoned, savory and fresh. It has had the rather unfortunate effect of ruining other pho places for me. I also ordered a bahn mi for dinner, which was just as good as I was expecting from such a solid restaurant, although I was advised that this was definitely not the best bahn mi in DFW. Located in a little bit of a run down plaza, this is my go to spot for pho as they actually provide beef ribs with the bowl. I'm not entirely sure if the beef ribs come as a default as I saw the pictures of other people's bowl, but I always just ask for it just in case. Also, if you want an extra rib, keep in mind it will cost you another $3. Their banh mi is also really on point and their bread is really fresh . Some people complained about the quality in the other reviews but so far I haven't noticed any problems with the ones I've ordered. They also have ready made food that you can order at the front but I haven't tried any of those yet. I was so glad I got to stop by here during a trip to Dallas with some friends. I got to try the bun bo hue, the pho, and the grilled pork banh mi, and all of them were on point. The bun bo hue was especially well seasoned, and they weren't stingy with the meat either! You also know it's good when the spice leaves you needing to blow your nose. Will definitely want to come back whenever I'm in the area. I ordered the banh mi to go and added a fried egg to it myself, which I would highly recommend if you're getting takeout. It was delicious! The bread is really crispy and flaky (warning: crumbs will go flying when you bite in it), and there was something in there that makes it very tasty. It is on the spicy side if you say yes to the jalapeño peppers as they give it to you in big slices with seeds still in. If you are in the area, definitely go picky up me f these tasty sandwiches!
