I came here after a recommendation from a friend. The place was very clean and vibrant and felt very lively with their aesthetics that felt almost old timey. Not to mention their wall of cakes in display Their service was very helpful and friendly, adding in to the welcoming vibe. I had ordered myself an Iced snickerdoodle latte and a croissant which was baked fresh out of the oven. And honestly it was the best pastry I've had in the area. They also have a much large indoor dining area next door for brunch which I thought was sweet. So if you ever are looking for a coffee break of a time out in the day. This a good stop to come by!

The goat was an amazing sandwich. The goat cheese with apple was perfect. The blueberry havarti was a little disappointing. I didn't think it had much flavor.

You MUST try this place... I was greeted right away when I walked in and told to let him know if I had any questions about the menu. I got the "soup" and salad. It was hand delivered to my table in no time with a smile! There was utensils and a napkin on the tray as well. The only self serve portion are the drinks. The Fruit & Nut salad was delicious I got the size small and it was pretty filling. The "soup" of the day was chili and OMG it was seasoned to perfection! The ambiance is sort of a modern country feel... there's carved wood style tablet with stools as well as regular tables and chairs. I will definitely be returning!

So glad to have found this gem! Such a cute vibe in this restaurant and the attached bakery. All menu items looked amazing to select from. I had the blueberry havarti sandwich and it did not disappoint. Served toasted, which I prefer and came with a side of delicious chips. Also tried the soup of the day which was chicken poblano and this was perfect for the cold weather. Nice portion size for the food. Really nice flavors. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Delicious and fresh! Charming little local sandwich place. We stumbled upon here passing through driving back home to Oklahoma. I got the goat sandwich and it was absolutely divine! It was on sourdough, fresh ham, onion, spring mix, goat cheese and apples. I've never had a sandwich like this but it sounded good and their popular one so thought I'd try! Self serve drink station. Fountain drinks are all $2.50 or canned drinks $2 and homemade cookies $2. Overall very great affordable fresh lunch!

I found this place via Yelp and grabbed my Mom for a week day lunch date. It's a super cute place in same building as SugarBee Sweets (check out the sweets before you leave). We had the B.L.A.T, Hot Pastrami, & a heavenly sugar cookie! The sourdough bread is made in house and is seriously good- I would buy it by the loaf if they sold it! We both enjoyed our sandwiches and the chips that come with them! A suggestion would be to add a flavor option of chips - tossed with a little garlic and rosemary or something. We couldn't resist getting one of the massive sugar cookies on the counter and took it home to eat later as we were full from our lunch. It's probably in the top 2 best sugar cookie I've had in my life! The place was very clean and the 2 workers were super friendly. If you are in a hurry, I'd recommending ordering in advance. They offer catering and boxed lunches too. We will definitely be back!

This is a very cute extension of sugar bee bakery. They have sandwiches, soup, and salad. We got tasty sandwiches and went to sugar bee for dessert. This place is cute, right down to their napkins! The wall of dead air plants is even cute! I wish I had repurposed mine in such a way! I got the basic bee sandwich. It was very flavorful. The mustard and crunchy bread really made the sandwich! Sandwiches come with HOMEMADE potato chips! I don't like potato's or potato chips BUT if it's homemade, I can respect that! I definitely ate my chips and They were good too! I will for sure come back!

    The menu

It's a nice place for lunch, the bread is always fresh and delicious!! Do wish the sandwiches had a bit more filling for the price. The staff is all very friendly and the location is very clean and relaxing. Also helps that sugar bees bakery is in the same location!

I ordered a hatch pimento sandwich with chips and their soup of the day (small chicken tortilla soup) for pick up and was surprised how short the wait time was. I love that they use sourdough bread which is one of my favorites. I'm wondering if the potato chips that comes with the sandwich is homemade because they certainly tasted like it. There are plenty of places to park and I love that this small area hosts a couple of small businesses (the eatery, bakery, coffee shop and arts studio). The inside of the eatery has plenty of light, warm and inviting. The air plants wall adds to the ambiance of the Hive. The ladies working were quick with the order, friendly and helpful. The sandwich paired nicely with the chips, I will see if I could add Turkey to the sandwich next time. The chicken tortilla soup was flavorful and a good option for lunch or dinner if you aren't too hungry. The prices are decent as well as the quantity for th price. The Hive is connected to their lovely bakery which I had to check out as well.

Nice addition to area. I went with the goat sandwich, the portions are definitely on the smaller side. The sandwich was enjoyable, however was leaking juices/water - I wasn't really sure why. The chips I could definitely pass on. Food is brought to your table. They have an adjoining bakery to check out over your meal for something sweet.

Great flavor and plenty of clams, mussels and shrimp. We also really enjoyed the crispy pork - nice little kick in the sauce and the perfect amount of marbling in the meat. The carpaccio was Texas-sized. Speaking of Texas-sized, do not skip the award-winning coconut cake. It is on the pricey side for a dessert but it easily feeds 4 and yes, it is that good! Our server, Tiffani, was outstanding. She was very attentive throughout our meal, and when the Rioja we wanted was out, she poured my wife several samples to help her decide on another bottle - we ended up w an excellent easy-drinking Paso Robles Cabernet. We opted for the tapas-style sharing, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They recommended the shrimp, which was hands-down the highlight of the meal! However, the rest of the menu fell a bit short. With tapas, you expect every small bite to pack a punch, but the flavors here leaned more 'middle-of-the-road' than standout. My biggest issue, however, was the atmosphere. While I always appreciate a spotless restaurant, the staff was cleaning during service, and the overwhelming smell of bleach and Fabuloso totally took over the dining room. It's hard to enjoy a meal with strong chemical fumes in the air. Overall: fantastic staff and location, but the food and dining environment need some fine-tuning.

I asked if it could be cooked a little longer. The server said it would take about five minutes, but when the dish came back, the texture was exactly the same. It didn't seem like anything had been changed. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. The server never came back to check if the recooked dish was satisfactory.
