The sandwiches came out pretty quick and I was on my way! Banh Mi was crispy with a great bite, it was slightly on the smaller side. They gave TONS of meat impressive to me, but wished it came with a little more veggies. With my limited experience with Grande Prairie, and all the other Banh Mi chains, this is my favorite in the area, if you are watching the rangers or cowboys, stop on by for a cheap meal! The pho broth was delicious and I love that it comes with a giant beef bone. I do wish it was a bit more tender, but maybe it was just that day. I recently ate at Ba Le in Arlington with my son and friend and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The pho was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. My son ate the whole large bowl of pho and drank all the soup, . I also had the bò kho with bánh mì and it was excellent. The broth had just the right amount of spices and the meat was incredibly tender. However, what set this experience apart was the attentive and friendly Manager. He made sure our dining experience was exceptional, checking in on us frequently and making sure everything was up to par. I highly recommend Ba Le and give it a 5-star rating. Service was fast and friendly and the owner gave us tips on what to order and about some changes they have made in their recipes. We had the following: - Com Thit Nurong Bi Cha Trúng broken rice with sliced-grilled pork , shredded pork, meatloaf & egg. - Bun Thit Nuon g Cha Gio Sliced-grilled pork, egg roll. We also had the SugarCane-Mia and a Vietnamese coffee with Boba which which were great drink recommendations. This is also the spot to get some Banh Mi sandwiches which appears to be a major specialty since the deli was slammed the entire time we were there. I ordered 3 Banh Mi Combination sandwiches to go. The owner highly recommended the Beef Pho and I'll definitely try that next time. He brought a bowl of the broth with our meal and it was pure rich deliciousness. He added a beef bone to the Pho and that alone takes it to a whole other level. With a chili paste/sriracha shortage currently going on, he brought out some homemade chili paste, and the flavor was phenomenal. The pho broth has a flavor all it own. The vermicelli bowls are a great option for the hot Pho in the summer. Grilled pork for that and lemongrass beef for my banh mi, please. Cafe su dah! Not saying that the service is poor but for people that don't frequent real Asian eatery's will find the service unfriendly. Honestly, they've gotten much better. Best pho in the area fosho.
