Pork Belly
Terry B.

I had dinner here with my daughter, and it was a fun and interesting experience--definitely a spot I'd been curious to try. KPot offers three options: Korean BBQ, Hot Pot, or a combo of both. Everyone at the table has to agree on the same option, and we went all in with both. Fair warning: it's a lot of food, so come hungry. I chose the Spicy Szechuan broth for the hot pot. It was good, but honestly, it wasn't my favorite--I'd try a different broth next time. The Korean BBQ, however, was legit. Pork belly, short ribs, bulgogi--you name it. Everything we grilled at the table was flavorful and very well done. That alone made the experience worthwhile. The buffet, unfortunately, was a disappointment. None of the items were even warm, which was surprising since we were there during peak dinner hours when you'd expect high turnover. The wings were by far the best item on the buffet, and even those were only mildly warm. A definite letdown. That said, don't let the buffet deter you--the Korean BBQ is absolutely the star here. Our server, Yung (hope I'm spelling that correctly), was excellent. As first-timers, we really appreciated how clearly and patiently she explained the whole process. All in all, a solid food adventure and a strong start to my dining experiences in 2026. If I'm back in the area, I'd return for the Korean BBQ and give a different broth a shot next time.

The food is great! Very flavorful without any sauce. I love how you can make your own sauces and they even have little recipes to help you. Service was great! Our server was super nice and took his time to explain everything! Appreciated it so much! The place is super nice and clean.

I love that you can get hot pot and kbbq all in one. They have good meat, veggie and noodle options! Their sauce bar and warm food buffet is pretty decent. The only downside is sometimes some items are never delivered but it's all you can eat so there's no problem in ordering again.

So this was my second time going there and it was still good. Of course once you order the food it came out fresh especially the meat. The suicide was good as well, kept the drinks refilled and everything. Ambiance was nice as well of course you only have a 2 hour minimum to chill and vibe with people.

I'm always looking for a good hot pot place and cake pie is a franchise that I've been in other locations in different states so I was familiar with it and decided to take my coworker to try hot pot for the first time. Needless to say it's as expected. The menu is small but all the essential items are on it. We decided to do just hot pot if you want to do barbecue it's five dollars more per person and both of you have to agree to pick the same option. You order through an iPad and the service is quick. The place is very spacious overall we enjoyed it.

Went here for Sunday lunch, pretty much the usual KPOT experience. I got the BBQ (bulgogi was really good) even though hot pot is more popular. There's a 2-hour limit on dining and about 8-10 items per order until your time resets (3/5 mins) if I remember correctly and also charges if you waste meat. Appetizers are self-serves and had almost everything: fries, wings, nuggets, crab legs, kimchi, variety of sauces, chilli oil and what not but nothing special. The crab Rangoon was so stale, wasn't even crispy. All of them just didn't feel freshly made. Desserts were limited to mochi balls which weren't that good and coffee cake (my fav). Fruits seemed mostly canned and the ones that weren't looked and even tasted dry and stale. Overall, BBQ was solid, but the rest was just okay.

Finally excited for a hotpot place to open up in arlington instead of having to drive all the way to carrolton. The soup choices were good, and the meat quality was pretty good as well. The servers were super attentive, and the inside was nice and clean. I will definitely be back if I'm craving Korean hot pot and I don't want to drive so far to get some!

I had never had this place but my usual spot was closing soon so I decided to give it a try. The server was amazing at explaining and helping us out though. We only did the hot pot part and not the kbbq I'm either not a fan of kbbq or just suck at it lol. I got the Sichuan broth and my friend got the tom yum and both were amazing. The ordering is super easy bc you do it off of a tablet so it was super nice not having to wait for someone when we wanted more meat. I was kind of thrown off by the fact that the vegetables are also ordered through the tablet as I am used to more of a buffet style when it comes to getting the vegetables, noodles and sides etc but it didn't bother me. The vegetable selection wasn't as large as I would have preferred but it wasn't a deal breaker. They do however have a very large sauce selection and some pre prepared if you aren't familiar with mixing your own. We had lots of lamb and pork belly and there's a lot of different cuts of beef to choose from depending on your preference and all were very high quality and tasty. Just for the fun of it we had sake bombs and the glasses they brought the beer in were too small for that at first but someone who I am assuming was the bartender noticed right away and got us larger glasses and even made sure to fix the pour since the two came uneven at first. We went at an in between hour so they weren't busy but the place is nice and appears super clean. They were playing like all of our favorite songs coincidentally which was super fun. I would totally come here again with a larger group and try both hot pot and kbbq next time! Our server rose was also very lovely !

Pretty mid tbh. Service was fine and food was okay, regular hotpot. But I've never had to order so many times because every portion they gave me was so small. I was basically ordering the whole time because my table kept eating the small ass portions so quick LOL. Also I went in late May and it was HOT AS FUCK. Like my whole table and I were sweating buckets and I saw other customers around me fanning themselves. I know the servers say it's the heat, but I've never been to a hotpot/kbbq place where I'm just sweating like crazy. I recommend seapot or liuyishou.

Pork belly, spicy pork belly, rice, quail, eggs, kimchi

We waited quite a while to be seated even though there were plenty of employees around. It honestly felt like we were invisible. After finally being seated, we waited an unusually long time just to receive water. We also made it clear to both the hostess and our waiter that this was our first time at a Korean BBQ restaurant and that we had no idea how anything worked. We expected at least a brief explanation or some guidance on how to cook the meat, what sauces or seasonings to use, or recommendations for beginners. Instead, we were left to figure everything out ourselves. As a result, the food ended up tasting bland and unappetizing because we simply didn't know what we were doing. To make matters worse, no one informed us until the very end of the meal that there would be an additional charge for uncooked meat left on the table. Had we been told this upfront, we would have ordered differently or made sure to finish everything we had. Waiting until the end to mention this felt unfair. Overall, the lack of customer service and communication made what should have been a fun first Korean BBQ experience into a frustrating one. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

The place is always full when we're there, but I haven't encountered a wait for seating yet. The interior is a little more casual than other kbbq places I've been to which makes it good for a less formal meal. The grills can be a little slow, but our servers were attentive and changed out the grill plates often to help with optimal cooking. The buffet offers a good selection of bonchon dishes and some preprepared meat options. Although the preprepared meats are good, they aren't as fresh so I'd highly recommend ordering from the grill menu to get the best quality meats!

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Once we were settled, no one came to take our order. We eventually noticed there was a call button, so we pressed it. When a server finally came in, I felt rushed the entire time...like they were trying to leave before we were even done ordering. Because of that, several items were missed. To make matters worse, we were served old/moldy garlic, and all the cuts of meat were overly thick and tough to eat. On top of that, every time we needed something, we had to press the call button multiple times, usually 3 or 4 times before anyone checks on us. And don't get the hot sake, it's a rip off. Legit 4 small shots for $8.99. Overall, the service and food quality were very disappointing. They probably didn't care to service us because they'll get tipped on a large party regardless. It took a while for our server to come and get our drink orders then a little more for the meat orders. It took her a few trips to get all our drink orders. When we got our initial meat order, the server didn't turn on the second grill. Luckily another server came and I asked him to turn it on for us. I never got my sides that I ordered along with the meats. When we were nearing finishing the first order of meats, we pressed the call button, but nobody came when we waited about 3-4 mins. So we pressed again and nobody came. We pressed it a third time and still nobody came. So after about 10-12 mins of waiting, I walked to the front to ask if I can get my server? The girl at the front proceeded to tell me I need to press the call button. I respond that I did, about 3 times already. So she retorts that "we're really busy today." I understand it's a Saturday evening and it's pretty busy, but in the time that we got our meats and finished it, my server never came to check in on us. The girl then says she'll come by in 2 mins if we still haven't been helped. So I go back and press the button a fourth time. The girl comes in as she promised and took our second meats order and I mentioned that I never got my sides from my first order if she can put that order in for us. About 30 seconds after the girl left, the male server walks in assumingely ready to take our order. I tell him I had the girl in the front take my order because nobody came. He then tells me I needed to press the button. I respond "I pressed the button 4 times now. Nobody came." He goes to press the button to see if it actually works and hears it ding. So he apologizes and changes our very charred grills. Then comes back with our order that the other girl took. We only spent an hour at the establishment, but most of it was waiting. The food was ok at best. There was way too much fat on the galbi. I was left very unsatisfied with the experience. Really, it was the gaslighting about pressing the call button. Sitting here and writing all this out I also realized I added extra tip to my bill and forgot that there's gratuity already added to a big party's bill so they got a really nice tip from me. Hopefully the gratuity gets split among everyone I guess.
