But, be aware that there is $5 up charge if you want both BBQ and Hotpot, also, if one person at the table orders the combination, then everyone at the table will be charged the additional fee. The inside was very well decorated. You order meats on The IPad that they provide. You order your soup for the Hot Pot on the IPad too. There Kimchee Buffet Line is impressive. ordered the thai tom yum flavor, which has a slight kick and is very tangy, which i love. the sauce bar lets you customize your sauce and pick various side dishes. the wagyu had a deal for $2, $8 off the original $10 deal. the meat was very tough when cooked medium rare and fully. would not recommend. the other meats, however, were very delicious and soft. perfectly seasoned and were nicely presented. rice bowl and pumpkin never came out. the servers and host are kind, but they do not check on you often. you have to call them or walk up to ask for something. read more

I had dinner here with my daughter, and it was a fun and interesting experience--definitely a spot I'd been curious to try. KPot offers three options: Korean BBQ, Hot Pot, or a combo of both. Everyone at the table has to agree on the same option, and we went all in with both. Fair warning: it's a lot of food, so come hungry. I chose the Spicy Szechuan broth for the hot pot. It was good, but honestly, it wasn't my favorite--I'd try a different broth next time. The Korean BBQ, however, was legit. Pork belly, short ribs, bulgogi--you name it. Everything we grilled at the table was flavorful and very well done. That alone made the experience worthwhile. The buffet, unfortunately, was a disappointment. None of the items were even warm, which was surprising since we were there during peak dinner hours when you'd expect high turnover. The wings were by far the best item on the buffet, and even those were only mildly warm. A definite letdown. That said, don't let the buffet deter you--the Korean BBQ is absolutely the star here. Our server, Yung (hope I'm spelling that correctly), was excellent. As first-timers, we really appreciated how clearly and patiently she explained the whole process. Went here for Sunday lunch, pretty much the usual KPOT experience. I got the BBQ (bulgogi was really good) even though hot pot is more popular. There's a 2-hour limit on dining and about 8-10 items per order until your time resets (3/5 mins) if I remember correctly and also charges if you waste meat. Appetizers are self-serves and had almost everything: fries, wings, nuggets, crab legs, kimchi, variety of sauces, chilli oil and what not but nothing special. The crab Rangoon was so stale, wasn't even crispy. All of them just didn't feel freshly made. Desserts were limited to mochi balls which weren't that good and coffee cake (my fav). I had never had this place but my usual spot was closing soon so I decided to give it a try. The server was amazing at explaining and helping us out though. We only did the hot pot part and not the kbbq I'm either not a fan of kbbq or just suck at it lol. I got the Sichuan broth and my friend got the tom yum and both were amazing. The ordering is super easy bc you do it off of a tablet so it was super nice not having to wait for someone when we wanted more meat. I was kind of thrown off by the fact that the vegetables are also ordered through the tablet as I am used to more of a buffet style when it comes to getting the vegetables, noodles and sides etc but it didn't bother me. The vegetable selection wasn't as large as I would have preferred but it wasn't a deal breaker. They do however have a very large sauce selection and some pre prepared if you aren't familiar with mixing your own. We had lots of lamb and pork belly and there's a lot of different cuts of beef to choose from depending on your preference and all were very high quality and tasty. Just for the fun of it we had sake bombs and the glasses they brought the beer in were too small for that at first but someone who I am assuming was the bartender noticed right away and got us larger glasses and even made sure to fix the pour since the two came uneven at first. We went at an in between hour so they weren't busy but the place is nice and appears super clean. They were playing like all of our favorite songs coincidentally which was super fun. We finally made it to K Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot after trying since they opened because the wait times are always insane... and honestly, the hype just wasn't there for us. First issue was cleanliness. We had to go through probably 10-15 sauce/seasoning bowls before finding some that actually looked clean enough to use. The plates, tongs, and even the scissors at the table also looked dirty. Not a great first impression at all. Our server was nice, but this was our first time ever doing Korean BBQ/hot pot and literally nothing was explained. We had no clue what we were doing, what sauces to use, how long to cook things, what combinations worked, nothing. For a place built around the "experience," there really wasn't much of one. We even paid extra for the dinner menu just so we could get steak options. But somehow there wasn't even a knife brought to the table. If you're serving steak that people cook themselves, there should probably be a way to cut it afterward. The server also turned our grill heat down so low while we were actively cooking that it completely affected how the food turned out. I eventually had to adjust the heat myself just to get things to cook properly. We tried shrimp, beef and chicken bulgogi, mushrooms, eggplant, pineapple, etc. and almost everything was bland. The bulgogi barely had flavor, which was shocking. We didn't even realize there were additional seasonings available until after we had already started cooking because nobody mentioned it. And even then, the seasoning options were basically just salt, pepper, and sesame seeds. The rice tasted stale and old -- one bite and we were done. The pineapple had a weird aftertaste too. I completely understand paying for an experience, but when the food is bland, the setup is confusing, the grill temp is inconsistent, and cleanliness is questionable, it just feels like an expensive waste of money. I was basically ordering the whole time because my table kept eating the small ass portions so quick LOL. Also I went in late May and it was HOT AS FUCK. Like my whole table and I were sweating buckets and I saw other customers around me fanning themselves. Popped into K-pop, for some delicious Korean barbecue. I was craving the pork. So I had the spicy pork belly, the regular pork belly and the thin cut pork belly... You might notice the theme. I love the thin cut pork belly with a little bit of sesame, so oil and salt and pepper and a little bit Kimchi. And I love the spicy pork belly with the baby quail eggs, and I love the regular pork Philly with bean paste and rice. Top it off with a Soju and it was amazing. Sam my server made the whole experience a pleasure. He was very helpful and Johnny on the spot anytime I needed something. He was buzzing around like a busy bee. Last night was my first time at a K-pot restaurant and Korean barbecue in general. I did not really have an idea of what to expect and was a little nervous about not knowing what to get or how to cook the food properly once I found out that it was self service on the grill. I was immediately put an ease by our amazing server, Owen. He did such an amazing job explaining the menu, explaining the process and how the whole experience works. In his downtime when he did not have other tables, he even came over and helped us cook the food that we ordered to make sure our experience was as amazing as it can be, even though that's not a requirement of his. I love kbbq and hot pot and I love when I have the option to have them at the same time. I think $35 for both is such an agreeable price so I'm not mad. I love that this place has individual hot pots instead of a communal one. I enjoyed the atmosphere kpot had to offer on a Monday night. I think the food and drinks were delicious. Our server was such a chill guy - loved him. So why not 5 stars? I think KPOT can do better. My poor server was handling so many tables on a Monday night so service was slow. I'm not mad at him for it. I'm annoyed that staffing wasn't adequate so he wouldn't be running around like a headless chicken. He was a great server and had a wonderful personality. I think the booths are way too close to the tables. I don't have long legs and I wasn't comfortable with my seating situation so I don't know how someone with longer legs would've been able to sit in the booths comfortably. I think the AC can be turned just a little colder to compensate for the heat coming from everyone's grills and hotpot's. Overall though, it was a great dinner and I had a good time. read more

We went shortly after their grand opening with a large party. They are able to seat about 8 people max so we had to split our group into 2 locations. You are able to do hot pot or add on KBBQ but the entire table must do the same thing. You can pick your own broth flavors as well since they're individual pots. There is a sauce & snack bar against the wall if you wanted small bites to munch on and making your own dipping sauce. Prices were reasonable and our waiter was doing great for our large table and my hungry cousins. You can order a few items on the iPad but beware that it may take awhile so we accidentally ordered duplicate items since we didn't realize our order was still waiting. It's hard to for this place 2 stars BUT experience as a first time patron will do that. We came for my husbands birthday. I made a couple of comments about being there for his birthday. The waitress was nice. The self serve area was infested with knats and dirty. There were maybe 4-5 other families there so not busy. The meats for the bbq were good. The soup pots are pretty big for a kid so making each kid have one was and is a total waste and not worth the money which making everyone in the party chose one or both is a bit absurd and greedy when it comes to kids who eat WAY LESS. When it was time to pay I paid the bill and then the waitress said if you come for your birthday, your meal is free. So she heard the whole time it was my husbands birthday and says this after I pay??? Yup!!! I then said "I mentioned we were here specifically for his birthday." All she said was oh thank you have a nice night,took the check and walked away. WTF....my daughter asked to go back for her birthday and after spending $200 for the 4 of us last time; told her it wasn't worth it. We will not be going back until they have been a bit more established, trained staff better and can clean the self serve area. read more

Ahhh my fav hot pot in the area!! Their Tom yum broth is SO GOOD and spicy. I absolutely love it. Since their opening weekend I went back atleast 5 times and brought a different group everytime. Their buffet items are good, the quality of their meat is good. I honestly don't have any complaints about this place. I think it's super cool you can order everything on your own with the iPad. If you've been wanting to come here! DO IT. I'm addicted!! I also love their short ribs for kbbq. I always do both kbbq and hot pot, it's a little bit overstimulating but so worth it. The items usually come out super quick! So the service is quite fast and they really only focus on drinks. This place also has a bar you can sit at and is HUGE. If you're a soup lover, this is a must-try. What truly made our visit special was our waitress, Spider. This is what my daughter chose for her 18th birthday dinner and it was a really great choice. We were party of 11 on a Friday night so we knew it would be busy, but the service was impeccable. When I got there it wasn't busy but we had 8 of the party of ten and the wouldn't seat us until the last two came. We waited almost an hour to be sat. They sat us, with very little instruction or direction. It was so chaotic. No one knew what to do. The iPad was a greasy sticky mess, they were out of rice, all the handles at the bar were sticky and gummy. Someone puked in the entrance way and it took them like 30 minutes to clean it up. The bathrooms were so gross. Tissue and trash all over the floor. Several times we asked for help, it was stressful and our food wasn't good. I won't be going back. read more

The restaurant was clean and they do a good job keeping the tables cleaned off. There is nothing to absorb the sound and it is extremely loud when crowded. The service is good and the food is ok. The restaurant only has Pepsi product and your choices are Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry, Mug Rootbeer, Ginger Ale and Lipton Sweet tea (a restaurant that does not brew tea is hard to believe). My family obviously drinks none of those products so we had 3 waters. No Soy sauce on your table, if you want it you can wait though to customize your soup buffet line and put some on your food that you carried with you. We did not find any containers to put it in to carry back to our table (another hard to believe for Asian restaurant). Also no fermented and pickled vegetables brought to your table as sides (every other Korean BBQ I have been to has) so you can go through the line and get it and of course everything is cross contaminated with the items next to it. $138.47 out the door for an Asian meal with no drinks and soy sauce that was too much of a hassle to deal with. For that price I personally prefer a quieter experience with less self service. Again my preference, many customers seemed to love it as they were crowded and definitely not hurting for business. read more

Had Nini as a server and first the manager had to get her attention when we were first seated due to her being on her phone, not realizing she had a table waiting, the menu isn't the same as it used to be which I understand places like this can change their menu items but for the price it's not worth it like it used to be.
