One of the best known viet pho & banh mi place in Arlington. Their beef rib pho is the most well known, as it comes with sliced meat & a super soft and tender beef rib. I also love their fried egg roll, flavor is extremely authentic and they fry them fresh to order. Patience is sometimes needed when it comes to service, as they are a small ESL business, but they do their best to seat & serve you as quick as possible. There's plenty of seating but since they close at 7 PM everyday, they do get a rush of customers right around 6 PM. I really liked how clean their tables are and how they provide sanitizer wipes at each table, very comfy vibes.
I was recommended to this place by someone in the community as they said it was the best pho in the area and I felt that it was...okay. They give you a lot of meat which is a plus, but I wasn't wowed by the pho. It's a large spacious and clean restaurant, which I appreciate but I wish the broth had a deeper flavor!
Yall are sleeping on Ba Le, I use to work at a school nearby for years and I always told myself I needed to come here, but I never did while I worked in the area. Years later, I am back to working in Arlington and recently finally made it to Ba Le. I know they are known for their sandwichies, and I dint know you could order them off the deli counter instead of ordering them from the sit-down restaurant. The first time i went, I ordered a sandwich and a noodle dish. The sandwich was the first thing that came out; it was hot, like right off the oven, hot! The sandwich had lots of pate, and the meat was well-seasoned but not as good at the one from Saigon Deli (that's my ride or die for Vietnamese sandwiches). Next time I go, I will try a different sandwich. During this visit, I had a noodle dish,h and it was good, nothing amazing (i think it was the lemon grass beef). Really good. I went and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes to be seated. They have an iPad to check in, and that's how they know the order to seat people. The service was fast since they are really busy every day. The restaurant was clean, and so were the bathrooms when I went. On my second visit, is when I tried the Pho, and I am hooked. I tried the combination pho and it was everything like the pictures show! When I tried the brooth I could tell they really go big on the spices that make up the broth, star anise, cloves, cardamom and everything else. I really enjoyed the broth, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I can see what all the hype is about, but for my pho i usually go to Pho 95. I did try the Vietnamese coffee, and even tho i asked for it to be extra sweet, it was not sweet enough. Since then, I been on a Vietnamese coffee kick and I can't stop haha. I need to start making my way to this restaurant more often.
The food is delicious. The portion is pretty big. The pho can feed 2-3 people. Especially since we both don't eat that much, we still had leftovers. The pho had a delicious taste like always. The banmei could've had more of the pickled carrots and radish. The service was not good. There was attitude and they made it seem like we were an annoyance being in the restaurant. But the food was worth it. The vibes were good, very chill. Would go back for the food but maybe just take it to go next time.
Other than the giant beef rib in the pho bowl, I don't think Ba Le's pho is good. They used too much of the "pho's seasonings and herbs" for their broth. It has an overwhelming taste; not to my liking. Although I did not taste the rice plate, i was told it was good. Parking can be a situation if the restaurant is full.
Back in town and of course you go to the best beef pho place! Love that the put the beef bone in the bowl. It's my dad's favorite part of the pho lol! Family own and operated. They are so friendly and I grew up eating here. Don't forget to order a banh mi sandwich. The bread is baked fresh and there is always a line for pick up. It's a great local spot and so many regulars come here. It's pretty big in size to accommodate small and big parties.
Anytime I'm visiting my parents in Arlington, I always request to make a stop at Ba Le Restaurant for their amazing pho! It can often be crowded and have a wait, but the wait is well worth it. The restaurant is spacious and the service is quick! You won't be waiting long after you're seated. The portions are huge and the broth has such an incredibly rich flavor. I normally get a regular size bowl and it's enough to feed me twice. Warning: after having this pho, it's won't quite hit the spot when you get it anywhere else!
The #1 pho spot in DFW. The broth could cure any ailment & every hangover in existence. It's a serioussss operation with servers and big groups coming in & out. I've been working my way around the menu for the past year and #1 bowl will never disappoint, also they have the best egg rolls. Been dabbling in their bahn mi as of recent as well so get a grilled pork one and have a little appetizer before your pho.
Visiting one weekend and we were craving pho and banh mi. The banh mi bread was perfectly light and crispy, we got bread to go because it was exactly what we were looking for. We also bought a container of pate (pork pate for those wondering) to eat with the bread. They only have beef pho, and each bowl comes with a huge bone of beef and your selection of meats, all part of the set cost. Meatballs are the only meat that cost extra. Sugar cane had a nice lime taste and complimented the food.
Had a chance to visit Dallas this week so we stopped by here to try what everyone is raving about, Their banh Mi!! It was somewhat disappointing to say the least! Banh mi đặc biệt (3/5)- bread wasn't fresh which was disappointing; I can taste the bác biết fixing flavors, the overall experience from eat bite is just too dry for me. It wasn't very flavorful and out of this world as other reviews and social media make it out to be. Banh mi thịt nướng / grilled pork (4/5) - this sandwich actually tastes better than their Đặc Biệt. I would recommend. Banh tieu (4.5/5) - super cheap and flavor is spot on! Get it when available! Pate Chaud (4/5) while I expected to be more fluffy, it was a nice surprise with a good amount of stuffing and traditional peppery meat stuffing flavor. Ca Phê Sữa Đá (5/5) - super strong Vietnamese coffee. I would wait for the ice to melt into the coffee first before taking your first sip! Coffee here will sure wake you up. I drink coffee often and I could only finish half a cup and could barely sleep last night! Heard their pho is good but I haven't had a chance to try. I'll plan to come back for their pho and also pick up some Vietnamese desserts and snacks they offer at the front too!
If I could go here every single day, I would. Good Lord the pho comes out in like 10 minutes (probably less) and the big rib that comes with the beef pho is FLAVORFUL AND AMAZING. Typically I have to doctor up my pho but here, the broth is really good on its own. The food is super affordable and manageable for big or small parties. I can't wait to visit again soon.
I saw this place get recommended by a group on Facebook several times so we decided to give it a try this past weekend! First we'll talk about service. So everyone is as friendly as they can get, nothing more nothing less. It gets the job done and I don't have any big complaints. The ambiance is "hole in the wall" which kinda got me excited. It's kept clean for the most part, they keep Clorox wipes at each table which I liked. I've never seen that before. Restrooms are decent enough but could use a tad bit of cleaning. Nothing major. Now for the food. We started with spring rolls. I'll be honest we really weren't a fan of them. They had no flavor whatsoever. Hard pass. It didn't matter because the star of the show was their delicious pho. I'm still thinking about that pho bowl! The broth was amazing! Delicious! Apparently every bowl comes with a rib which was oh so delicious and tender. They only have Beef pho on the menu here. I got the brisket. Plenty of meat and noodles. Their chili sauce is fire! Very spicy and tasty. My daughter and husband ordered the pork vermicelli bowl and they said it was some of the best. The portions for both items are very decent! The pho comes in large and extra large portions. The large bowl did the job. My appetite is pretty big but I don't even think I need an extra large bowl. Who knows maybe I'll try it out one day. We'll definitely be back to try their other soups!

This is hands down the best place to get pho in all of Dallas. I recently just moved here in October and have been trying to find a pho restaurant nearby. I first went here by myself and was help by Danny. He is probably one of the nicest person I've ever met. Always checked in on me making sure I had everything I needed, and recommending me all these sides to go along with my Pho Dac Biet. Coming back for the second time with my wife, I had to order the same thing, this time we ordered their Cafe Sua Da (one of the strongest I've ever had lol) he came by to make sure we had everything again, but I told him if our Cafe Sua Da was on the way and he checked to see if the order was put it. He noticed it wasn't placed so he apologized and said it was on the house... I even said you didn't even have to do that! Such a sweet and genuine soul. the meatballs are homemade and sooooo gas and the broth was definitely made with love. walked in, very busy restaurant and good atmosphere. they had a section to buy eggrolls and bread while waiting to be seated. we waited like 10minutes even though we went during church rush. phenomenal experience. would def go again. read more
Decided to give Ba Le a try on a weekday to avoid the weekend rush and I'm glad I did! The hype is definitely real. The pho was rich, flavorful, and everything you want in a comforting bowl. You can tell they put real care into the broth. I got the XL Pho fully loaded. Fast service, great portions, and a solid overall experience. I'll be back for sure! read more
I haven't been back here in awhile but today went there for Sunday lunch. Place was busy but we were seated right away. The food was good, probably 1 of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Arlington right now. The pho bowl was a little more expensive than other places but it's huge and you get a beef rib with it. read more
This place is extremely far since I am in Dallas. It was very convenient for us to try this place because we were going to the AT&T STADIUM for an event. I will say the pho is absolutely delicious! It's probably the best I ever had in Dallas. It comes with a huge meat on stick. That was very unique and never experienced that before. My boyfriend ordered the shredded chicken banh mi and I was quite shock how bland it tastes. The sour carrots were actually giving it life. I did not finish the half sub. Oh yes! We also ordered the spring rolls, it was pork and shrimp. Nothing spectacular, the tradition you would get. I prefer fish sauce but it was serve with a peanut sauce. Last minute, ordered the Thai tea due to the BBH being way too spicy from self destruction (haha). The Thai tea was in fact the best I ever had!!! read more

Saw this place all over tiktok and decided to give it a try. Placed an order for togo which was ready fairly quickly but boy, the serving sizes I see people rave about do not match for to go. The broth container was even smaller than that of other pho places which was a bit odd and there were barely any noodles. I'm a bit disappointed to say the least. read more

I found the best beef Pho in the State of Texas, I had to share with all my friends. The decor is simple, but the lines are long but well worth the wait. If you like beef Pho, dont go anywhere else. Ba Le is hands down the best place in Arlington to get pho! I always order their pho dac biet (combination) which comes with everything including a giant beef rib! The bowl itself is huge and the beef is so tender/fall off the bone. Their broth is also very flavorful. When I'm not craving pho, their bo kho with noodles is another favorite of mine! I love adding their chili oil to it. We also ordered a banh mi (pretty good but not as good as quoc bao or saigon deli imo). Their Vietnamese coffee comes pre-made in a sealed cup so be warned if you're expecting fresh drip coffee. The restaurant itself is very spacious and has plenty of seating! You may have to flag down a waiter if you need refills or something during your meal. Once you're done eating, you go up to the front cash register to pay. Overall, I love Ba Le so much and can't recommend them enough! read more

Recently, this is my favorite pho place. I always order their meatball pho (regular). Every bowl usually comes with one or two beef ribs/brisket inside. The broth is delicious!! The only complaint I have is that the noodles are always very small and break very easily. But the broth is so good I disregard that. I have also tried their chicken bahn mi and it was very good as well. If you need a new pho spot this is it!!! I have introduced this place to tons of my friends and family members. This is the best pho broth I've had in a really long time. I've had my fair share of pho broths and consider myself some one who enjoys the pure broth with no add in sauces or herbs. And damn do they do the broth correctly, not to mention the pho comes with a massive rib. The meat literally FALLS OFF the bone, it's such a great meat to include. The broth flavor is just so clean, and absolutely delicious. Aside from the pho, the service is fast and gets the job done. Additionally their wide variety of other dishes like the banh mi's or their lovely vietnamese desserts are my favorite. I love love love their coconut jelly dessert served in a coconut and get it ever time!! If you want the best pho, come here! read more
I forgot my coffee and the brought it out to my van woohoo! Came back to try their pho and yo! Legit Pho! Best pho I've had for a longggg time. Maybe I've been here often enough that they're all recognized me because the customer service improves each time I stop by. Heard the talking of a simple remodeling, I thought it looks a lot cleaner so yay! But most importantly, the pho is real good! The broth is just right, after the bean sprouts added, no pho sauce needed in your Pho. Dig down because there's gold at the bottom of the bowl, I'm talking about tendons, tripes, the whole nine yard! It was so filling I gotta give them an additional star. Never have I seen a pho bowl with A MASSIVE BEEF RIB for under $20. What's crazy is that the beef rib is included in the $16 price, but you have to pay extra for the meatballs! Which of course I did because Vietnamese meatballs are the best. The beef stew was also really hearty with some sweetness from the carrots. Still the best Pho and Banh Mi place to go to in Arlington!!! Always satisfied and even on a 100* weather in the dead of summer, I still get the cravings for an extra large bowl of combination Pho from Ba Le!!! A Banh Mi or two for each my wife and boys 'cause it's too hot for Pho for them but not me! I'm refreshed afterwards like breaking out into a good sweat at the gym! My go to place in DFW area for pho. The broth is delicious on its own, and the meat is so tender. The meat from the bone just fell off when I picked it up. If you're not craving pho, don't worry they have an extensive menu with other noodle dishes like Bun Bo Hue or even rice platters. Getting a cafe sua da is a must! If you know you know but for those who don't, this place is the spot for authentic Vietnamese food! If they aren't peeling jackfruit between the lunch and dinner rushes, I don't want it. You just walk on in and pick a table and they will bring menus to you. It was a hot day so vermicelli is my favorite way to cool off. They give so much in the bowl, it will fill you up. Their soup bases are rich but not oily. So so delicious. I'm a bit picky with my spring rolls so this time it wasn't my favorite but maybe it was an off day. Banh mi are bomb and are made to order. I love ordering them to-go since we have to drive a bit far to come here. Perfect for breakfast or lunch! They also have the coconut jelly in the coconut -- my fav! My experience here was too good to not write a review. Came in, immediately sat down. Definitely a spot for the local Vietnamese to chill at, which was a great sign of authenticity. Waiter was awesome; he was very patient with me regarding the menu lol. I had Pho and egg rolls; probably the best of which I've had in my life so far. The big serving size was greatly appreciated and not taken lightly! I'll gladly contribute my money to this business again. read more

i love pho in general, but i gotta say this place takes the cake for best pho! It's super flavorful & their meat is so soft & tender! i always get their brisket pho & truly i tell you, it never disappoints! I accompany it with a delicious Thai tea, def recommend as well!
