    Thai Fried Rice with Chicken
    Jillian S.

Flavorful, satisfying Thai food in Cary! I have dined in and ordered takeout. Service is quick and my order was accurate. When you dine in for lunch, a salad or soup is included. I chose the peanut salad to accompany tofu pad Thai ($13.95) and jasmine tea ($3.25). The salad was crunchy and fresh. The peanut dressing was delicious. I liked the peanut dressing better than the sweet and sour-like sauce on the pad Thai. The pad Thai still tasted great and was filling. It was large for a lunch portion so I took 1/3 of it home to eat for dinner. The large Bangkok fried rice ($18.95) I ordered to go was large and tasty. The prices are reasonable for the large portion size. While dining in, several employees checked in regularly to refill drinks and see if we needed anything. Overall positive experience here and I recommend this restaurant to others!

I've learned to love spice more because of this place, it has been a gradual climb. Tonight I ordered 2X HOT and it was perfect. Burned my lips just enough. Drunken noodles are an excellent comfort food and three little spring rolls to an order - I was in Thai flavor heaven. Service is always kind and the restaurant is clean. Maybe I should dine in... eventually. Regardless, every time, a different dish. Enjoy.

Only giving one star because the waiter was nice This was possibly the WORST Thai food I've ever tasted... my grandmother was Thai and I've been to 10 plus Thai restaurants in my life. Thought the 4 star reviews would mean this place was good but it's not I'm sorry but I must let others know We couldn't even finish our food we just packed it up and left... Here's a photo of my brothers greasy Bangkok chicken for reference..

We ordered takeout today. Pad Thai noodles today was disappointing. It was more on the sweet side so that's all we could taste. Thai basil fried rice was good. The red curry was also alright. However none of the dishes hit the spot. Still looking for my favorite Thai place!

This place is so good! One of my mom's coworkers recommended it, so we decided to get an order delivered for dinner tonight. The delivery was super prompt, and they had an option for no contact, so it felt very safe. I got the drunken noodles with tofu and no eggs, and my food was absolutely amazing. My mom got the red curry with tofu, and she loved it. I absolutely recommend this place and will be sure to order from here again!

My table.. it was a wall on the other side of me.. so I was boxed in..

When I walked in the restaurant was empty.. yet I was sat in the corner behind the door.. and when other (white people) parties came in they were sat in the open part of the restaurant... it felt extremely racist to me.. Also you get more food when you takeout

Very baan-tastic! They have the best panang curry. The star crabs and panang curry are the only two things that I order now (I've tried other menu items and they were good too but I just love this curry). Baan Thai is one of my favorite Thai spots in the area.

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and was finally able to stop in for lunch. I walked in and thought it was takeout only as everything was blocked off but they had a couple of tables available for dine-in. She saw me with my baby and immediately let me know they don't have high chairs (I didn't ask or need one). Then within 30 seconds of sitting down, she asked me what I wanted. I asked for a couple of minutes to look at the menu and for my friend to arrive. Friend arrives, she immediately follows after her asking what she wants as soon as she sits down without offering a menu or anything. I place my drink order, and she asks again if we're ready. I place mine and hand my friend the menu to look, and again less than a min later she tells us "do you want the food to come out together? you need to place order". Thankfully the food was amazing and up there for one of the best pad thai's I've ever had. It was so so flavorful. Customer service is really crappy but the food is great.

I loved their specials - I had the larb salmon.

I ordered the crispy chicken red curry and I hated it. The skin on the chicken was so soggy that I couldn't even eat it.

I ordered the Myra Fried Rice, which at $24 was kind of steep. I noticed lots of typos on the menu (Fried was written as Fied multiple times), so that's something that management should probably fix. Anyway, my wife got the Thai Beef Salad, which was a more palatable $15. The food arrived soon afterwards, and it was... OK. The rice had a nice texture to it but the chicken was super anemic - it looked like it had been boiled or something. The beef was decent, though. My wife really loved her salad, and I enjoyed the flavor of that way more than my own dish. To adjust the spice on my dish, the server brought over chili flakes like you'd get at a pizza joint (but in a nicer looking vessel). They did spice up my meal but I guess it struck me as a little strange. The portion size was decent but I ate most of it in one sitting. Overall, I wouldn't say it was a terrible experience, but I'm not sure I would come back for $24 fried rice with bland chicken.

Food: small menu which I do not have any problem with. When I go to Thai/lao restaurants, I always order papaya salad - which will tell me everything and what kind of food I can expect. Very simple taste- that doesn't mean bland. It captures sweet, savory and tang. Ordered green curry. Good flavor but almost bland - it can improve on the ingredients. Khao soi noodles again, taste good but missing something - All the dishes tried seems it was missing fish sauce flavor and more, which all dishes didn't seem to reflect traditional deep flavors. The chicken wings were pretty good. Wish the skin was crunchy and had a better batter. The hat yai dry rub was good, salty and sour but kind of reminded me more like tajin. My son really loved it. Service: yin and yang. One older lady who served our table was nice and attentive. The other supporting female staff there was unfriendly, almost seemed mad at the world. Slow service. Price: I don't know why NC charges so much for Asian food in general. I can't say it's outrageously expensive or reasonable price for the genre of this food. All in all, not a bad tasting food. It captured good flavor and has potential. I felt that the dishes are made afraid to show the real flavor traditional Thai flavor. May be good for entry -level food exploring.

A nice perk of this spot is that it's just a stone's throw away from free and plentiful lot parking. I'd make a reservation if you plan to come here on a weekend for dinner. The place was bustling, with almost all the tables full. It's bright, airy and modern looking inside. Which makes it the perfect place for a date night or celebration spot. At the same time, it's not stuffy or overly fancy. The menu is comprehensive with Thai favorites like Pad Thai and Pad See Ew with a large number of Japanese and Sushi items on the back. My friends tried the Thai Spicy level and I will say it was pleasantly hot without burning your tongue off. I ordered the bento box and was really happy with the quality of the sashimi and nigiri. Everything was tasty, and the portions were more than satisfying. If I had to make a nit on something that I didn't love (it's hard!), I'd say that the rice texture wasn't my favorite. It was a little dry. But other than that, I would definitely consider it for another night out.

She was so kind and was the absolute best part of our visit. She gave a range recommendations, very professional, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the meal. We are coming from the Irvine, CA area so we VERY familiar with top tier Asian food and possibly that impacted our standards vs others in the review section. Now on to the rest, there were so many flies that I ended up having to smash them on the window with a napkin--just gross! Then, my son's food was not flavored well at all and had HAIR in his noodles! The Pad Thai was really bad! It was a lighter color first of all, so maybe they added an ingredient that isn't standard in traditional Pad Thai, but it did not make it better at all; I could barely stomach it. Then, there was a huge egg shell in the dish that somehow the cook let come out and served to us. The sweet and sour chicken portion was outrageously small for a dinner portion, and the dish was smothered with sauce but somehow the chicken was dry as if it was day old or several days old chicken. The cashew chicken, the same, dry chicken that was being covered up with the sauce and we had to chew a great deal. The sweet tea, it just tasted like they put a bunch of sugar packets in and was worse than a McDonald's sweet tea. Their white rice was not moist at all and we could've just done without it. Out of the sushi we ordered, the spicy tuna was good, but the rest was grocery store quality sushi and extremely small portion. In my opinion, people rave about this place because it is 'different' and plays into an upscale restaurant as you can see with their overpriced items. This place doesn't hold a candle to shopping center Thai fusion in California. I have lived in many states and am not a snotty Californian, but man oh man I can tell you this one is a fail. The only star for this visit goes to the waitress (she was a 5) but if I could give this a zero for the food, I would. Don't waste your time or money.
