We popped by for lunch here today. It's in a well populated strip mall next to Wright State University and Wright Patterson AFB. Upon entering, it looks and smells clean. The menu is simple, but the flavors are far from it. We got one chicken bowl and one steak bite bowl. Both had different toppings and sauces, and both were absolutely fantastic. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the cost was fantastic for what you get. Will absolutely be back!!

They were all delicious, but the Sabbich was really special! While I'd like to try more of the menu, I think I'll go for the Sabbich again next time. We had a toddler with us, and a huge, unexpected plus was a small table with kids books and crayons. Great staff, clean interior. Can't wait to go back!

I do like creative explorations of culinary crossovers and fusion, but some thing are best left authentic with experimentation done along the edges. Being used to Indian cuisine, the chaat was not exactly what we expected, and the Sabich was missing one of the main ingredients (hard boiled egg) and just had large slices of fried eggplant over a thin garnish of fresh vegies rather than a shepherd's salad. It came with a side of humus and a mango chutney which I assume was supposed to be a substitite for the traditionally sour and umami tasting fermented mango (Amba) sauce. It was almost like they were going through the motions of the ingredients, not their culinary role and effect. Amba is supposed to give a counter-punch of strong curry flavor to the smoothness of humus. I felt a sweet mild mango chutney, even though they are both technically mango chutneys, missed the point entirely. In my opinion they need to re-think their dishes from scratch. I do believe they can do it and do great if they go back to the basics. I wish them the best of luck from the bottom of my heart! The service was very nice and friendly! We loved the staff! The decore is lovely and I liked the progressive conscientious political activism it projected.

I've been to hookah bars across the country, and this one has been my least favorite. Imagine this: that geeky Middle Eastern kid in you high school's parents go out of town and he decides to throw a party in his basement. That's what this place reminds me of. A high school kid throwing a party. Think old couches and uncomfortable chairs mixed together all facing a large TV in the back. When my party of 5 arrived around 9:30 PM on a Saturday night, the place with a little empty. It filled up quickly which was nice, but seemed to attract a young crowd. The TV was playing the DIY network (because who doesn't like a side of Vanilla Ice's remodeling show with your hookah)? Our server brought us menus, but it turned out they were out of tons of tobacco flavors. We had to order three different blends, each time the server came back and informed us "we don't have this flavor..." until I almost said "Tell us what you DO have so we can order". We ended up with apple and clove which was a pretty good flavor. Enjoyable. The service was a little odd. After each item we ordered, the server informed us of the cost and kind of stood there like he expected us to pay a la carte or something. Order a drink? "That'll be one dollar" for a can. We asked if we could put everything together on a tab and pay at the end (like every other hookah bar I've ever been to) and he seemed surprised by this request but honored it. All in all, the atmosphere just isn't right yet. This is a new place, so give it some time to grow. It needs more comfortable seating if it expects people to hang out and relax. It needs more than some cans of coke served for a buck. It needs to keep it's tobacco stocked or inform you before you order what they're out of. Give this place a try, but maybe wait until they've gotten into their groove. However, the place gets two stars because the hookah was made quickly and prepared well. It was a good flavor and was quite smooth.

It was just her and I last night. This is my first time coming this place... let alone the first time in five or so years that I've been to any hookah bars. I'm not generally interested in them, as I'm much more capable of packing and prepping a better hookah. I understand they're catering to the masses here, but those little details make a huge difference. And I HATE quick lights, but hey, what can they do? I'm not going to say much about the hookah set up itself. I didn't like it. But what impressed me was the quickness of the service and the politeness that both main servers/hostesses exhibited. I was especially fond of the female that was working. The typical reaction when two girls walk into a club/bar/hookah bar still happened. Two guys who were hosting came up and chatted with us for a bit...it was a rough drawn out conversation. My friend could tell that I was about to kill them, so she dismissed them politely before I said anything. Honestly, they were much more polite than other places I've been to, but I don't enjoy the small talk guys try to make with girls that come in by themselves. We were there to catch up with each other. Not for attention. Not for you. Regardless, the crowd here is very relaxed and reserved. ...At least, it was on a Monday. I'll go back for the service. It's a nice place to hang out with a friend when your significant other is fast asleep at your house and you don't want to wake him up with company. :p

Service was amazing from the start, super friendly, and Ahmed made the experience even better by letting us try a few samples since it was our first time. That alone stood out. My wife got the falafel bowl and I had the chicken plate with baba ghanoush and pita everything was super fresh and full of flavor. We also tried the eggplant salad and the Jerusalem salad (which had a nice spicy kick), and my wife loved both. We even ended up ordering some of the items we sampled because they were that good. The place was clean, the owners were generous, and you can tell they really care about their food and customers. Definitely coming back next time we are in the area!

We were greeted promptly and with a smile when entering! Very welcoming atmosphere. Service was great! They offered ideas and samples of their Hummus and Baba Ghanoush. Both were absolutely delicious! They make both in house. We ordered: **"Chicken Platter ($17). It came with, Chicken Shawarma, rice, Falafel, Hummus, Grape Leaves, Tzatziki Sauce, Garlic Sauce & Cucumber Salad. ***Side order of Baba Ghanoush & Pita ($7) ***Chicken Wrap ($12). It came with fries and Chicken Shawarma. It came with other toppings but our son only wanted the chicken and pita. ***Lamb Wrap ($10). It came with Fries. It had Tzatziki, Onion, Pickles, Red Cabbage, Tomatoes, & Tahini Sauce. All our food was freshly made, absolutely delicious, very flavorful, and served hot. We got our order to go. The only negative is they served the pitas in a brown paper lunch bag. The bag was not food safe since the bag was made from recycled materials. Usually places will wrap the pitas in aluminum foil or a sandwich bag, or put it on top of your food. We ended up not eating the pitas. I'm sure they tasted good since everything else did. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the place!
