He was great (sorry I forgot his name) And the food?!?! Never had anything I was unhappy with! My go to is the kalbi breakfast, upgrade to the garlic rice and upgrade to German chocolate pancakes. Cant go wrong. I always have leftover pancakes so I take them home for dessert...they are THAT good!! Yesterday I got the sunshine breakfast, with bacon. Garlic rice. German Chocolate pancakes. The absolute worst location for service. I've been to Henderson & Spring Mountain locations but this Downtown location is by far the worst service experience. Arrived Saturday morning, 2 large parties took up most tables but there were a few tables open & the bar/window seating. Upon arriving, there were 2 small parties ahead of us who had been waiting. At that point we should have just left. The 2 parties before us ended up leaving. The host/servers CLEARLY saw us all waiting but did not greet or acknowledge any of the parties waiting in the waiting area. After 30 MINUTES - someone FINALLY acknowledges everyone who has been waiting. The host does NOT even apologize for the wait, never had come by to give us any expectation on when we would be seated. Finally got seated after 45 minutes. We ordered our food....then WAITED ANOTHER 30 MINUTES. No one in the entire restaurant had gotten their food either. Again, no apology, no explanation for the wait. Food was also not as great as the other locations. Pancakes did not taste as fresh (except for the adobo omelette). Extremely poor customer service at this location. Go to the other locations and avoid this one for sure. read more

I cant believe it took me so long to visit this establishment! I walked in on a whim as i was walking around downtown las vegas with family visiting from Hawaii. Deciding to check the menu but ended up asking for a table the minute i opened the menu! Babystacks offers lots of dishes i am accustomed to ordering back home in hawaii such as the famous "loco moco" and Adobo friend rice. I ordered the Adobo Fried Rice and it did not disappoint!!!! The restaurant does have a small dining room. The menu is pretty large and offers a fun variety of breakfast items with a Hawaiian flair. There are plenty of spam items to choose from if that is your thing. They also have many variations of pancakes. They do not have bottomless mimosas, but there are mimosa options, including flights and a giant champagne glass that fits an entire bottle of champagne. They add orange juice and as many straws as you would like so you can share or drink by yourself. I had the bacon pancakes, which was phenomenal. My spouse had the Loco Moco. We went to this place for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were seated in 10-15 minutes, which was nice because breakfast places downtown can get really busy. We both got eggs and bacon with a side of pancakes. I got blueberry, my daughter got bananas. We asked for our bacon extra crispy and it was perfect when it arrived. The restaurant was cute. My family and I always make it a point to visit Baby Stacks when we're in Vegas, and unfortunately, this downtown location was a major disappointment. The one star is based entirely on the extremely poor service, which overshadowed our entire experience. As someone who has trained and developed employees for over 30 years across fast food, retail, and retail/medical settings, it's clear the issues stem from a lack of leadership, support, and training from management. The employees working that morning were simply caught in the middle. The wait time upon arrival was normal for peak breakfast hours, and even splitting our large group into two tables was fine. However, it took 34 minutes before anyone acknowledged us--only after I asked if we even had a server. It then took another 22 minutes to place our order. Our server took the order for one table but walked away without taking the order for the second table right beside us. When we asked another server for help, he mentioned he didn't realize the tables were together, despite being directly next to each other. From there, things only got worse. We waited over an hour to receive our food. By the time it arrived, the frustration overshadowed everything--I honestly don't even remember how the food tasted. I take no pleasure in leaving this review. My hope is that management or ownership sees this as an opportunity to step up, invest in training, and correct issues that are absolutely fixable. Baby Stacks is a beloved brand, and it would be unfortunate to see service issues undermine its reputation. I truly wish this location the best moving forward read more

2025 Review #7- wow I'm really lagging behind this year. Well I didn't bring my lunch to work today and of course I was so hungry! The thought of getting in my car and driving somewhere seemed like way more than I could handle, lo and behold there's a Babystacks right across the street. I looked online and decided on a Club Sandwich- it's kind of my go to. Called and ordered then walked my happy butt across the street to pick it up. This might have been the best decision I've made all week! When I picked up the bag with my food in it- it sure seemed heavy! Well when I got to my desk and popped it open I was so pleasantly surprised! First of all there was 1 1/2 pickles! Yes, friends! One and a Half! Oh the glee I felt! So maybe well seasoned fries and an amazing looking sandwich! Be still my heart! I grabbed my Diet Coke, set up my desk for a delicious sandwich and...Nope I was not disappointed! I certainly couldn't finish the whole thing and nobody else wanted any so I'll take it home and let the kids finish it up later. I know Babystacks is a breakfast spot, well let me tell you, it's not just for breakfast anymore! (I'm sure they've always had lunch but I just wanted to say that.) Parking wasn't the best in the area so we had to use the parking garage and pay to park, however the restaurant does offer a credit towards that on your ticket so it's not too bad. The service was pretty good. We were greeted right away and sat immediately. There were a ton of pancake options to choose from and they offer regular breakfast options as well. So I'm Filipino and it's not the sisig that I'm use to. It was still good but just not what I expected. I know each establishment makes it different but to ME, the flavor wasn't there. Garlic rice that went with it wasn't as garlicky as well. If I came back probably would pass on that dish. Now the star of the meal was their Ube Pancakes! The size of the restaurant is a little smaller, so make sure you get here in time because it's first come first serve. The staff were very friendly and had great recommendations. We loved that you can upgrade your toast to a specialty baby stack, so we were able to try some of the pancakes. LOVED the peppermint mocha pancakes (seasonal), but you can't go wrong with any of their specialty pancakes. They were the perfect size to share with our table. This use to be a different place and I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they made a baby stack! The place was rather quiet and has a big window so lots of nature lighting. We arrived almost at closing and I did expect to be treated that well because I know how annoying it might be for someone to walk on while you try to clean up. Fortunately the waitress was so sweet and helpful with the menu. All the pancakes sound amazing but the red velvet were the best and so moist and not too sweet. The food was awesome I ordered Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice and my daughter ordered corned beef, hash, and eggs. Her place came with pancakes so we tried the red velvet. It was delicious and just the way we like it. We wanted the Ube pancakes, but they were out so we took the red velvet and he even gave us a plate of pumpkin pancakes because it's the season.. He actually gave us the pumpkin pancakes for free. Our food was cooked to perfection. The bananas foster stack blew me away. It's been days and I'm still thinking about it. I really thought the pancakes were gonna be way too sweet but they weren't, they were perfect. The Hawaiian flavors really made me want to try everything on the menu. Spam and eggs are such a comfort food and these were made so well, I did think the rice was a little dried out, but honestly that barely detracted from the meal. This was our first time at this location for BabyStacks at the downtown location. We came in on 12-26-24 around 2pm and its just one of our favorite places to eat. I ordered the strawberry shortcake pancakes(server Irene D.) recommended and she was absolutely right. There were amazing and just tasted so good and loved the presentation of it. Just an amazing incredible dish. I also had portuguese sausage which were amazing as well. The parking garage is next door which is nice. Our server was Irene D and she was nice and took care of us. I visit Vegas at least twice a year. Whenever I go I like to try out new places to eat. Since I was staying in the downtown area I decided to try this place out as the menu oozed interesting and it wasn't far from the El Cortez where we were staying. It was a short drive but also definitely walkable from most Fremont St hotels. If you do drive there is a parking garage just make sure you take your ticket si you can get it validated. We got there between breakfast and lunch. You can tell the place is popular with locals as it is near a city building or courthouse. we wanted to check this place out because it's a breakfast spot with some Filipino flair. Being from the islands and having a girlfriend who is half Filipino we definitely wanted to check this place out. The decor is definitely hole in the wal meets island style which I love because it is not some corporate shell or copy. You can tell this is a family owned spot. The service was fantastic and very welcoming but I would expect no less again island vibe. After looking at the extensive menu I decided to go with the Mexican skillet with eggs over easy and Carne Asada. My girlfriend decided on the Sig sig which was a little adventurous for her as I am the one who is usually the one who orders the more interesting dishes. She also got an order of pancakes. Everything was delicious and if you are looking for something different for breakfast check this spot out. The prices were very good for being a stand alone place that was not in a casino. Another terrific location of Babystacks Cafe! I didn't even know this one had opened downtown in the former spot of MTO Cafe. It's got nice big windows, giving the space great light and I love the cool mural in the entryway. The food is just as good as I expected from Babystacks. I got the Portuguese Sausage breakfast and upgraded my pancakes to my favorite Cinnabun ones--delicious! Service was great, too, as usual.
