I came here for a date night and wasn't disappointed. I would pass by this spot so many times and didn't think much of it, but I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. They have small plates and desserts, that all taste amazing and leave you wanting more. I would caution you though, if you order their coffee at night. It is STRONG. I was up all night . We had a very important dinner here last week. The set up for our group went smoothly. The only complaint is the open-ness of the restaurant during the chilly and cold nights. The patio seemed warmer because they had heaters on. Once we asked them to turn the fans on it was a bit better. The food is absolutely amazing! 3.75 stars I ended up here with a large party of 14 people. We sat outside in the summer evening light. We had an overall great experience. The service was amazing, thanks to our server Isabella, who was MVP. She kept the drinks coming and she did a tapas roulette for us. We were def not disappointed with her choices. Two of our group had ordered 2 pizzas, and when one came out, the other didn't. Finally about 15 mins later the second came out. It was dry so we spoke to Isabella and she immediately replaced it and removed it from the bill. The reason for the slightly lower rating is this: The taste of the food was good, but it wasn't fantastic. We had no qualms with any of it at all except I've had the same simple dishes served elsewhere that blew me away, and these did not. More specifically on the food: Burrata Caprese: the bread was great! The actual burrata was lacking that FLAVOR. Truffle Mac n Cheese: I'm not a huge fan of truffle and this dish was overly truffled. I feel like truffle becomes a bit of a gimmick when it's overused. Fried chicken sliders: good but this is an opportunity to pack in the flavor and I felt that opportunity was missed. Tacos. These were probably the best dish of the night. Perfectly seasoned and the exact correct portion. The pizza was meh. BUT, it's the Americana so I kinda expected that. ‍ But of your looking for a place with a chill ass vibe and ridiculously good service with some pretty decent food, this place has got you. read more

This place came highly recommended from a co-worker. This place is tapa style: small dishes, probably 2-3 per person that everyone shares. We ordered the Bacari Fries, White Pizza, Seared Petit Filet, and "The Best Cake You've Ever Had" for dessert. The White Pizza was my favorite by a long shot; cheesy goodness and the crust was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It also came right out of the oven. I had to remove some of the bacon because it became to salty. I did like the Bacari Fries, but I didn't enjoy the "BCN" sauce unfortunately. Not sure if there's balsamic in it at all, but that's the flavor I thought I tasted. The fries are a little bigger than shoe string size and the egg was a good addition. The petit filet lacked a little flavor...it was 4 small slices with a few slices of zucchini. The "Best Cake" was delicious. A date cake (so it's obviously healthy) inside the bowl with vanilla ice cream. Mm mmm. I did take off the bacon on the top since I don't like to mix salty and sweet. What a fun stop after a day of shopping! The outside area is so welcoming and has a great view of the Glendale going-ons. All the items we ordered were delicious (looking at you, pear pizza). Been here a couple of times now. I absolutely love this place. So many options, especially healthy ones, that are absolutely delicious. It's a tapas-style restaurant in the heart of Americana (Brand Ave.). The sangria is incredible and pretty strong! Just one will for sure make you a bit more friendly than when you walked in! My absolute favorite was the tuscan kale salad and the avocado toast! I also loved the mushroom pizza. The crust was so good I'm sure all of the toppings would be great! Service is super friendly and attentive, which is important for me. It's a little tight in the seating area, so definitely not recommended for larger parties. We love this place and the mini tapas plates are really yummy. We especially like the fries. Only complaint I have about his place is that last time they added employee health benefit charge. It did say that if we didn't want to pay we can ask the waiter to remove it but then you feel bad asking. So they in anyway force you to pay it. This location is my new favorite in Glendale! I wasn't a fan of the other downtown location for HRW, but this location surpassed my expectations. We went to celebrate my mom's birthday and bread pudding was on the house - super nice staff! I highly recommend their house red. I had two glasses to myself. One of the highlights of our trip to CA, our experience was way beyond expectations. The food was delicious, the green falafel being our favorite earning a second round. We wish we could create a sauce that tasty. While the food was obviously a hit with us, the staff went the extra mile having high standards making their restaurant way beyond the norm. I noticed one server, Brandon, stooping to pick up a trash that was on the dark floor that would normally be overlooked by a less diligent employee. I let his manager, Jocelyn, know this and she totally recognised the worth of this type of attention and care. Employees like this are what make such a great place to go. We walked in and had no idea what we wanted - after sooo many great recommendations from Sonia, we decided on 1 plate from each category (hot, cold, and pizza). We started with the burrata caprese - so fresh and delicious! Next, the Gorgonzola pasta with added chicken (amazing with or without the protein). And then ended with the pear and Brie pizza, which had generous Brie chunk. The food was amazing and the service from Sonia was even better. I love tapas, the more you get to try and eat. Started off with French toast, wow, moist and amazing. So good. Perfect! Chorizo hash-cooked perfectly and a sunny side up egg to mix it all up. Delicious. I would suggest maybe order a baguette on the side to scoop up all the goodness! Bacardi fries-also topped with a fries sunny side up egg, the sauce and egg just goes so well together. In defiance against mundane, the bartender.. ahem, mixologist, turned the banal request into a fruitful, perfectly balanced and beautiful cocktail! Let me be clear, it was busy but we never felt it. We visited on a Monday night and it wasn't packed but not completely empty. We were seated outside next to the heater and were helped immediately. Their menu is a little overwhelming but we ordered the bacari fries that had garlic sauce and a sunny side up egg to share and two drinks. Our waitress was super nice and even made my friend a custom drink that was no longer on the menu (coffee and vodka). My drink was pretty sweet but surprisingly small. I've missed pizza so much I devoured nearly all of this minus one piece hehe -chipotle wings: a little spicy bit very flavorful -gnocchi: I cheated a little, this can't be made gluten free(my tolerance is low-medium), but I tried a small amount and it was mouthwatering good. -strawberry Fitz- was expecting something sweet but it was actually a little more savory and had a kind of spice kick to it or something. It was ok -summer rose: this was good and better than the strawberry one IMO Service was okay. We got here on a Tuesday night and there was a few people in line in front of us. We had a reservation and there was no host in front, just seemed like different servers pulled in customers in after a table was ready. Seemed a bit unorganized and I didn't like having to wait almost 15 minutes. Once we were in they did take our order right away and it didn't take too long to be cooked. Overall I love this place and would definitely come back. They play music and it does seem to get busy. Good casual date night spot but you'll have to talk loud to be heard. First of all, I think this place had too many mistakes on one table. Firstly, when we arrived at 2pm, the hostess was rude and told us brunch was over. Then our kind waitress told us she was taking last orders for brunch (which was until 3pm btw). The hostess was not helpful. Secondly, all the plates and utensils at my table that were supposed to be "clean" were clearly dirty and soiled; they had stains of salsa. THIRDLY, the glass that my drink was served in was cracked! I noticed the rim was CLEARLY super chipped??? I could have cut my lip. I don't know why they served a drink like that. And FOURTH of all, my "best cake ever" had a gross long HAIR baked INSIDE of the cake. I went in with my spoon to grab a bite and the piece of hair came with it. Honestly, the rest of food was ok, but I'm HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in the service. I will likely NOT recommend this place to any of my friends. read more
