Extremely Disappointing…read more It's pretty hard to confuse chicharrón de pollo with bistec encebollado, yet somehow this restaurant managed to do exactly that. I called ahead to confirm they had chicharrón de pollo, drove 15 minutes, placed a simple order of chicharrón de pollo with white rice and red beans, and waited another 15 minutes for it. After I got home, they called to tell me they had given me the wrong order and asked me to drive back to fix their mistake. Absolutely not. Sure enough, I opened the bag and got bistec encebollado with white rice and no beans. I put it in the fridge and cooked something else. This isn't the first time they've messed up my order. I've given them the benefit of the doubt more than once, but enough is enough. The quality and service keep getting worse. Maybe it's time to go back to the food truck where it all started -- because whatever they're doing now clearly isn't working.

It's a small but very welcoming place. The lomo saltado was money! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try their ceviche. Our IT Director was in town and really enjoyed his lunch as well. The consommé was flavorful and not at all greasy. The wife refuses to dip her food into a broth and make it mushy, but she tried it and was enjoying that consommé on the remaining bites. The fresh sliced jalapeño's were not spicy (after we took the seeds out) and it was packed with flavor. The nachos were layer... which is the ONLY way to enjoy nachos. 10/10 he would get them again he said. Overall, great food experience. Can't wait to indulge again.
