Like many people I love Hibachi. I'm actually pretty new to trying food trucks around LA but I know everyone raves about them- so when I saw a Hibachi one I of course had to try it. It's a fresh truck and the guy who took my order was friendly. I got the lobster and filet minion combo. It was fire Big pieces of steak, and a nice size lobster tail. Their house sauce is and I got the garlic butter throw on top of the chicken fried rice, which enhanced the great flavor. Definitely spreading the word about this one. Only downside was that I was surprised how long it took to order (20 min, only one person ahead of me the entire time), then it took about 30 minutes to get the food after waiting. I'm new to trucks so I don't know normal procedure, but I can't imagine what it would be like if there were more than 4 people there like when I was there. read more

I dropped my food when I realized the was a roach crawling on the meat. I kicked the box and the roach began crawling out from the gap. Chicken was nice and soft, and filet mignon melted in my mouth. The Garlic Butter was also creamy and perfect. The Hot Drop Sauce is what really did it for me, it was absolutely one of the best I've ever tried!!!!! My girlfriend LOVED the vegetables and how it was cook, her favorite being the zucchini. This was a bit of a disappointment. One because I've tried other hibachi places & also because I had high hopes. Their hours are late night, I got my food around 11-11:15 after a Clipper game Saturday. This food is delicious! I have sampled everything and like ALL the dishes. Terry the owner suggested The Trio platter on my first visit: steak shrimp and lobster . Such a huge disappointment. I saw my friend post this truck once and was excited to find it outside of the staples center after catching a game. My friend and I both wanted to order chicken plates, the guy who took our order was on the phone the entire time and spoke really softly for such a busy street so I couldn't tell if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. I ordered two chicken plates and he asked me if I wanted white or fried rice, I said fried and asked which sauce he'd recommend. Again, I had no idea what he was saying so I said sure give me that not realizing I ordered 3 sauces all of which I was charged for and none of which were particularly good. Two tasted exactly the same. I saw the plates were $15/ea so I was confused when my total was only $23... I looked at my receipt and realized I only got one plate and was charged extra for fried rice. Since when does hibachi come with white rice and not fried rice? After being thoroughly annoyed with the super rude employee who was still in his phone by the time I realized this we decided not to order a second plate. The chicken was dry so we were glad we only got one after a 30 minute wait and only having two people ahead of us. The only reason this review has two stars is because the rice was bomb.
