If you have friends who don't like raw fish, they also have a good selection of cooked items - tempura, chicken teriyaki, udon noodles, etc. There's really something for everyone. They have a bunch of TVs and will usually have the game on if there is one. There's also a lot of street parking and free parking lots around since it's Downtown Bellflower. And before the shumai was able to come to our table, the main course arrived. #1- and my favorite- House Special Gyu Katsu + curry. This is a whole experience, my friend. They bring out the breaded ribeye, raw and sliced. With it, a stone and fire grill. And a split condiments dish with course salt and a soy dipping sauce. You add the sliced meat on the hot grill, let it get a good sear, sprinkle a little of the course salt and a quick dip in the sauce and put the whole piece straight into your mouth hole. Trust. It is ....eye-closing delicious. #2 - Chicken Katsu curry. You get the same sides as the Gyu Katsu, minus the wasabi. There's white rice, seaweed salad, macaroni salad, and shredded cabbage. The chicken it cooked to perfection, tender and moist. The breading well done, staying on the chicken through the dipping and eating process.
