They did not appraise the work right because they did not know how to work on car, they broke other things on car because of not doing work right. Second time I went to get car work still not done right and other damage was done to car. Now I have take them to court like other people had to do. read more

I recently got into an accident while passing through Kentucky. My car was in bad shape after being hit by a semi. I had no idea what to do and I was not from around here. I live in NY and was on my way to Atlanta. I was completely lost and they brought my car here. The girl who works the front desk was so nice to me and arranged for me to get a rental car for the day. I came back the next day and her dad Mike actually took a look at my car to see if it was safe to drive the rest of the way as I didn't know what to do because I was supposed to be in Atlanta and didn't want to leave my car in Kentucky. He checked it out and even made some minor repairs to make sure it was safe, covering my window up. This was above and beyond anything they had to do and it was really quite amazing to see people who really care about their customers in the car world. Thank you both so much. I felt like you cared in my time of need and one or the most confusing worst days of my life. I really appreciate your kindness and so does my mom. Thank you for being great people. read more

My initial repair estimate was for $5,300 and two weeks. It turned into $5,900 and closer to four weeks. On FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS, they told me my car would be ready in the next day or two. Then I would show up, only to be told that my car wasn't ready and it'd be another few days. Calls went unanswered, voicemails went unreturned. Practically the only way I could get information was by going there and waiting in the office until they found someone to talk to me. And all that was bad enough, but after finally getting my car back, I've discovered a random loose part in my passenger floorboard (stamped with the car make, but God only knows where it goes), and I'm missing a trim piece from the front hood. So, not only does their customer service suck, they're not even attentive to details when it comes to their work. Not sure they even deserve one star. read more

I wish I had something positive to say about this visit, but sadly I don't. 3-6 months ago, they did the same job (for warranty reasons-paint peeling on a new car) as this time, and did a very good job. This time was from a hit and run to the same area of my car. They could not get a good tape line between the painted portion of the bumper and the black trim area. They blamed Subaru for not properly taping the bumper sent to them on the first attempt. (Mike tried to play it off like it's normal...I guess no one could see the tape wasn't covering the trim like it should.) The second time, they got a raw bumper that they were supposed to prep themselves. The paint line was the same as the first attempt. The edges had excess plastic and there were rough patches that were not smoothed/sanded before painting. (Mike tried to give the same excuse as previously and begrudgingly had the manager take a look.) On the third attempt, the job was a little better, but nothing like the previous job. The paint line was rough and still had paint overlapping onto the trim and black trim paint on the painted area. (Mike says that's the best I'll ever get from them...I guess he forgot about the previous job on this vehicle.) Mike offered to have my car washed and I accepted. My 8 year old can do a better job than what was done to my car. I won't trust them to do anything with my car after this. read more

My one time here I arrived at 5:22pm, a young woman somewhat reluctantly came out of an office to find out what I needed. I told here I needed an estimate to repair my car. She immediately informed me that they close at 5:30. I looked at the clock on the wall which accurately displayed the time as 5:25, so I didn't say a word. She then told me that everyone was getting ready to leave and that I would need to make an appointment to come back and get an estimate. I was of course very shocked that they wouldn't just write an estimate on the spot since they were still open and they are in the auto body repair business. And I still would have been understanding if she just hadn't seemed so very pleased with the fact that she didn't have to care about what some stupid customer thinks because she was IN CHARGE. Okay, no big deal, I just turned and left without saying a word. Got in my car, drove less than a half mile to Sam Swope Collision Center. Here a pleasant young man (Matt) politely explained that they stop doing estimates at 5pm, apologized because he couldn't take care of it right then, and encouraged me to return anytime the next day and he would be happy to help me. I did come back the next day and was again treated with respect and genuine caring. Fair or not, I doubt I will ever spend a dime at any Bachman automotive business and will go out of my way to do business with Sam Swope auto group based on their superior customer service skills and accommodating attitude. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I would stay as far away from them as I could. We took my wife's car to Bachman on our insurance's recommendation and will report to them to take them off their approved list. After over 3 weeks repair, terrible customer service, and being out right lied to on multiple occasions (time, cost, communication, etc.), we finally got the car back. A manager even told her the car was not top priority since the insurance company was not paying for the repairs we were. Once we got it home, we discovered the car had an extra piece sitting in the passenger floor board and was missing a piece connecting the windshield. We did not find it upon pick up because they rushed her out the door and closed before she could properly inspect the car. read more

I had a great experience at Bachman body Shop. I was in need of new Headlights. Mine had faded and where no longer working well.I went inside and met Steve Hammel he was courteous and professional, Steve ordered my lights and they arrived the next day. The technician Jason Miller did a wonderful job of having to remove my bumper and assorted parts just to install my new headlights I would Highly recommend there services! Great Work! read more

Do NOT go through Bachman Collision Center to get your car fixed. I recently hit a mailbox with my Audi A4, and they estimated the damage at around $5,000. First off, the damage wasn't that severe, and another body shop was going to fix it for $2,500. Since I'm only 16, my parents decided which body shop they'd go through. On another note, the mechanics that ordered the new parts were wrong, and several parts have been ordered late and delayed the process by 2 weeks. They told my mom that the car would be done within 2 weeks, and its been a month and I still don't have it. Bruce, and the other mechanics at Bachman Collision Center are unprofessional, careless, and probably some of the worst mechanics I could've gone through to fix my Audi. read more

I could not have had a better experience with getting my Jeep repaired after a neighbor backed in to it! Stopped in to get an estimate after wasting time with several other places in town that wanted over the top pricing and Bachman made the repairs quickly and professionally. I just picked my car up after they had it for almost 6 weeks! Every week when I call I was told that it should be ready by the end of the following week. We originally drove the car to the shop for an estimate, which came back around $4,000. After 6 weeks, I reviewed the final fill, $8,000 -- for a car that is worth less than $10,000! Why didn't they total it to begin with? I will never have a car, or an estimate done there again. read more
