I chose Manning's Paint & Body Shop after my car had damage to both the front and rear…read morepassenger-side doors. The damage was serious enough that it clearly needed more than a minor fix--either dent repair, replacement, and definitely repainting. I went through my insurance, and Manning's was one of the closest options to me. They also had a high number of strong reviews, which helped me feel more confident choosing them. Getting started was easy. When I called, they said they could get my car in within about a week and a half, and I was able to schedule an estimate almost right away. At the estimate, I was initially told my car would be done by the beginning of April, so I dropped it off on March 12 with that timeline in mind. After they got further into the repair, though, I was told the completion date would actually be April 21. That was a big difference and definitely frustrating, especially since I was relying on insurance for a rental car. I had to change the type of rental I was using just to stretch my rental coverage and avoid paying more out of pocket. The good news is that the car was actually finished much earlier than that revised date--at the very beginning of April--so I was very relieved it ended up taking less than a month. And most importantly, the repair work itself was immaculate. You genuinely cannot tell the damage was ever there. The paint and body work turned out beautifully, and they did an amazing job restoring the car. The other thing to keep in mind is the price difference. The original quote was around $7,500, but the final cost ended up being closer to $8,500. Since I was going through insurance, that wasn't as big of an issue for me, but if you're paying out of pocket, that kind of jump is definitely something to be aware of.

My experience with Manning's wasn't a great experience. My car was brought in for repairs ($10,000…read moreworth) and they put in OEM parts, but my left tail light which is a LED light stop working less than a year after installation. Prior to coming to them I was told that they guaranteed their work, but I was also told when I brought it in that they were not responsible for the light going out. I was really disappointed when they told me that and I was responsible for getting a new tail light and they would install in for free(I guess that what they mean as far as guaranteeing their work) I was and still disappointed in my experience and hope they will not disappoint anyone else in the future.

I leased a 2022 Chevy Equinox in August, 2022. Two weeks later some asshat slammed his car door…read moreinto mine (while I was in the office at work) and created a dent. Not a big dent, but it was literally a Brand New Car and some idiot decided not only to dent it, but to not leave a note or anything. The dent wasn't, like, huge or anything, but it was on the driver's door, so every time I got in the car I'd see it. After enough time passed and I had enough extra cash, I decided to get it fixed. I drive by the Dent Doctor pretty regularly, so it was a no-brainer. I emailed the Dent Doctor a couple pictures of the dent and they sent me a ballpark quote of $150 to fix it. Easy enough. They generally book a couple weeks out, so when my appoint came along I was there at 8:15 a.m. Kaden was busy working on someone else's car, so I said "Hey, I can just sit and wait". He said there was no need, that the other car could wait, and by 8:25 my car was in the building being worked in. I figured it would take an hour to an hour-and-a-half, but I brought my laptop so I could work while the dent was being tended to. They've got a small waiting room in the lobby with a table and a couple chairs. I didn't need a lot of room to work and that was just fine. Imagine my surprise when, at 8:55, Kaden walked out and said "Ok, you're all set!" Holy WOW! I was not expecting it to be done in, literally, 30 minutes. I settled my $150 repair charge and I was on my way. Total time on site was less than 45 minutes and there is, 100%, no sign of the dent any more (see my Before and After photos). I know it was a 'me' thing more than it was a necessity and didn't impact the care at all, but it tasked me, so I had to do it. Besides, it was only $150 to make the car look like a million bucks again. Thanks, Dent Doctor! I know who I'll be calling on if I need a dent fixed again!

I had an awful experience at Oxmoor Collision…read more Their service is terrible, their staff is rude, and their pricing is beyond unreasonable. I came in with a small dent and scrape on my car that they themselves described as "minimal," yet they had the nerve to quote me almost $5,000 for the repair. As a college student, that number was absurd, but honestly, it would be ridiculous for anyone, student or not. Marcus, in particular, was dismissive and condescending when I questioned the price. Instead of showing any understanding, he spent the whole time trying to justify a completely outrageous bill. The lack of respect I was shown made the experience even worse. Bottom line: Oxmoor Collision is overpriced, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Save yourself the headache and take your car somewhere else.

Even with parts backlogged (supply chain, looking at you!) they were able to find creative solutions to finish the job, all while keeping insurance in the loop. - 2/5 - Initial repair quality. There were some obvious details missed in the install and door paint that I would have expected to be seen and fixed before I ever saw my car. My observation is that quality control was a challenge in the shop for this repair. - 5/5 - Responsiveness of the shop general manager when I was unhappy, and commitment to getting the job right. While I had to take my car back in, he worked with me every step of the way to ensure final repair quality was to my satisfaction, and even left me with a thoughtful $20 gas gift car after the repair was complete for the trouble. Overall, 4 stars but I can see where when firing on all cylinders (so to speak!) this shop would typically be a 5/5. I have confidence that they want to satisfy every client, every time, and I appreciate how they worked out an issue with me. I hope to not need their services again (fingers crossed!) but I would not hesitate to bring my car to them in the future or recommend Oxmoor Collision to a friend.

I also appreciated that my car was cleaned and shiny. It had been at their shop for 6 weeks. Areas that could be improved included periodic communication. Several tentative dates for completion and pick up were missed due to parts and additional repairs. My husband had to call them several times to secure an update. Another area is a better explanation is of the warranty. Although it was mentioned a couple of times, I realized neither myself or my husband knew the details. It's hard to speak on the value since the repair of almost $11k was covered by the other person's insurance. I am thankful Senn's was a preferred vendor and would recommend them.
