Regrettably, I encountered an aspect of my visit that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. As I approached the display case showcasing your delectable desserts, I was approached by a cashier with distinctive black hair that was picked up. I simply inquired about the flavors of the desserts on display, expecting a quick response. However, the cashier's initial response was to rudely suggest that I consult the menu instead. I complied with her suggestion and retrieved the menu, hoping it would clarify my choices. Unfortunately, I still encountered some difficulty distinguishing between the desserts due to their similar appearances. Feeling a bit perplexed, I returned to the cashier and kindly requested her help once more. This time, she set the menu aside and took it upon herself to describe each item. While she provided the information I sought, her demeanor throughout the interaction came across as very unfriendly. I took a moment to explain my need for assistance and apologized, but her response felt dismissive, as she simply replied with a curt "ok." In light of this experience, I proceeded to place my order and subsequently left. It was disheartening to encounter such service when my inquiry merely required a brief 10-second response. The restaurant did not meet the standards for a Michelin star. The staff lacked knowledge of the menu, were impolite and dismissive. In addition to the poor service, the quality of the to-go food was subpar. Given the price, the presentation of the food was unconvincing, as it appeared carelessly thrown in the box. The "steak and eggs," priced at $29, were overcooked and had a texture resembling hard leather. The eggs were also overcooked and lacked any taste. The "egg Benedict," priced at $17, was a disappointment. The dish consisted of a hard-boiled and tasteless egg, accompanied by a sad piece of toast and unseasoned cut potatoes/home fries. The Hollandaise sauce was not up to par, as someone who has tried 40+ different types of hollandaise from all over the world I'll be the one to say that it tasted improper. Although not typically one to complain, this experience warranted an exception. Attempts to resolve the issue with the staff were met with further dismissiveness and rudeness, with the staff gaslighting us into believing the food was supposed to be that way which is arguably worse . It is hoped that the Coral Cables location is an exception, and that the owner will take the necessary steps to improve the quality of service and food. read more

Never coming back here again. Manager is an inexperience moron and absolute liar. We waited 15 mins for a steak knife, our server never checked in on us once food hit our table and he even argued about the bacon when we told him we don't eat bacon and bacon was in my wife's sandwich. My steak was also undercooked and poorly seasoned. Manager said he'd take care of the steak from our bill but he didn't. AMATEUR MANAGEMENT. UNACCEPTABLE. We tried many of them, and they were all succulent in the traditional French way, such as in the finest Pâtisseries in Paris... This is the real deal and the chef takes pride and care with the finished product. The staff were excellent and very attentive. They are knowledgeable with the menu and engaging. We spoke with one of the owners who is on the floor watching every detail and couldn't have been more gracious. Their coffee is carefully selected, prepared, and served, and is definitely one of the better ones we've found locally. I have been a regular customer at Bachour Coral Gables for quite some time now, and it's always been a great experience. However, lately, the music has been unbearable, and it's really detracted from the atmosphere. When we asked the manager to turn it down a bit, we were disappointed to hear that it was the owner's decision to play it so loudly. What was even more upsetting was the manager's indifferent attitude towards our complaint. We ended up leaving the restaurant because of the music, which is a shame because we used to love coming here. A fantastic breakfast if you're just by yourself or with a group of friends and family. But sure is certain to delete the senses and satiate all your breakfast desires. I do have to say that as good and tasty as the pastries bonbons and breakfast dishes were, the staff was just as friendly and knowledgeable of the whole menu and restaurant. It was a cold morning but the coffee was hot and the croissants were fresh. I even took a box home of assorted pastries and bonbons to bring back home to show my family. The minute I walked into this place I knew I was in for a treat. The style is impressive, almost like done by people of impecable taste. When you enter, you see the main attraction which are the desserts of the chef. They are to die for, I managed to try the Manjari and the Pistachio. Croissants are also world class. For $12, they stuff in fries, guacamole, sour cream, and your choice of meat. The employees like to keep the line moving, which is great especially during lunch.
