The customer service was amazing, and I have to say the Greek salad dressing and the brownie were both really delicious! I wasn't the biggest fan of the fish seasoning, but I really appreciated how crispy the fish was--honestly, I've never had fish that crispy before. If they added just a bit more seasoning, it could easily be perfect. As for the fries, I think they just didn't travel well--mine were a bit soggy, but that's pretty common with takeout. As a life long yelper (my fully realized life at least) I didn't bring our group here night one of our travel baseball tournament. This was based upon the photos and website not making it clear they had a great new location with a full bar and tons of TV's. It was clear the food was great but I wasn't sure about atmosphere and us parents were looking for a fun place to hang and have drinks. Very good food! But had a terrible experience with one employee here, the employee's name is Haydee. The other day I went in with a friend right before closing and this women was completely rude, her attitude was out the roof, her customer service skills were terrible, I as well seen her, she seemed to be annoyed at the fact we were there, she made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed, I have been here many times and have had great experiences but this employee just gave me a terrible experience and I hope next time to not be served by her, I love this place and look forward to coming here all the time with my family but this experience was definitely not pleasant!!!! read more

First timer and food was pretty good. I got the fried pickle chips and they came with marinara for appetizer. They were able to do a custom order for me as I asked for "Hot lemon pepper" wings and they were amazing. The customer services was good the people were friendly. Backdoor Pizza has been one of our favorite hole in the wall pizza joints for years. They have recently moved into a new space and are obviously having growing pains. I'm hoping that this review helps to correct two of the things I found in my last few visits. The crust is still handmade and delicious. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, but the sauce has no flavor. It seems to be a simple marinara with no Italian herb seasoning whatsoever. I also wonder if they are having trouble with the pizza ovens as the pizzas have been overly toasted on the bottom and raw on the top. Please fix this soon! We miss my backdoor pizza! read more

If I based my rating on food alone then I would have given 5 stars. I enjoyed the food but the man installing a metal bracket to hang a tv created a disturbance. The loud screeching noise from drilling into the metal supports was like someone scraping their fingernails on a chalkboard. It disturbed everyone in my party and noticeably disturbed other customers. In addition, he was on a ladder drilling metal right above the dessert counter. Please consider doing future maintenance work before the restaurant opens or wait until after closing. I'm sure that I will return to this restaurant and hope the atmosphere will be less noisy. read more

For me it's a no. We walked in and immediately noticed the floors were very dirty. I looked past it thinking maybe it was just the lunch rush. We were greeted by the girl behind the counter to place our order. She was nice enough and helped us choose what we wanted since this was the first time here. This is where it went down hill. We ordered two salads, one house salad and the other Cesar. Bbq wings and a 16 inch pizza. You get a cup for your drink and use the fountain yourself. That counter was disgusting. They should have someone cleaning it every hour or something. It was sticky and gross. We settled at a table and that was not that clean. Crumbs and dirt all over the floors. We get our salads. My husband like the Cesar and my salad was gross. The dressing was not good and the lettuce didn't taste fresh. While we were eating that, the pizza came out. It was soggy and flavorless. Never have we turned down bring home the pizza. We left half a pie, it was that bad. Then they brought our wings out 45 mins later. We had to check on them twice. I think they forgot and tried to tell us they had a big order. Right. The place was pretty empty when we got there. The wings were the best part of the meal. They were tasty and crunchy. That's why they get the two stars...The wings shouldn't be better than the pizza at a pizzeria. Would I try them again? No way. read more

I drove from 99/cypress to try out what my locals called the best pizza. The Brooklyn pizza was the bomb. I hilariously visited Jimbo's next door by mistake but they identified real quick I was looking for Backdoor. If you have a few extra minutes to wait on your pizza pick up, I totally recommend grabbing a beer at the neighbor. My small pizza stayed hot all the 13 minute drive back to cypress. read more

I recently discovered this pizzeria. I had just stopped by for the first time to check it out, but then noticed their dessert selection so I skipped dinner and went straight for the brownie. 10/10 would recommend, could NOT stop eating once I took that first bite. Also, the building had a specific look to it that just caught my eye immediately when walking in. Coming from an Italian family who usually makes homemade pizza, this is the best option for pizza when we don't feel like cooking. The pizza is amazing, the chicken Alfredo is good but nothing special, and their wings are good (ask them for extra crispy). Love the owners too And they just upgraded to a new building (haven't visited it yet) but they deserved a nicer place so I'm glad they made that change. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you, they don't really service on you, you fill your own drinks etc. I loooove this place though. read more
