This place is a gem! Dave and Heather, thank you from our entire family for bringing Backroads to this community. The food is amazing! Mary Had a Little Lamb, come on! This is a must try, melt in your mouth to the last bite. We have been there almost every other day to try new items on the menu. Let's just say we have not found anything remotely not good. The service is superb. Gabby and Grace provided us an amazing experience (on separate occasions). So sweet to our kids. The food is already great, but the atmosphere filled with love and happiness you can taste in the food! This place is definitely a must! read more

Tonight as I got home from work I got a random notification from Yelp about the Angry Shrimp here. We've never been here before, driven by and had a quick thought about stopping but never when we were hungry or going for food. After reading the reviews, seeing the pictures of amazing looking food, and more importantly the owner responses, we decided let's not miss this sign and go try that place we've seen a few times. The food is amazing! Our server Jackie (hope I spelled that right) was great! She told us a bit about the place, how amazing the owners are, she told us about the daily specials! We were really disappointed though.....that we never made it a priority to come here! We're very much looking forward to coming again! read more

My friend had been talking about this place for some time so decided to try it out. Reservations were made due to limited outdoor patio seating. Service was amazing and prompt. The chipotle mayo was amazing and different from other burger places. I had a mango beer that was tasty as well. I think it's nice that they give you an option to have different types of meats as your patty. The drink and dessert menu looked amazing too, but the burger was plenty for me. The fries were crispy and tasted great being dipped into the chipotle mayo. Highly recommend this place for the cleanliness, extensive menu, and great customer service. They even had a qr code on your bill for touchless payment option which is a nice touch! read more

After watching reruns of Hawaii Five O in one scene they were inside a restaurant in Honolulu and the were talking up a dish called Loco Moco. I decided to google what Loco Moco was. I found it a simple but unusual combination of simple ingredients that intrigued me. I the searched on YELP to find if anyone in my area served Loco Moco and I fouled this restaurant. This is the thrid time that we visited Backroads since the opening of the restaurants after Covid. If anyone has concerns about visiting Backroads and their compliance with covid cleansiness don't hesitate patronizing this establishment. These guys are on top of it!! We watched people leave after eating and how they prepaired tables for the next visitors. The employees there practically swarmed the tables with spray sanatizer and wiped down everything and I mean everything. Most places that we visit wipe down the tables and might give the chairs a light dusting. Not Backroads!! These guys wiped down the tables, chairs and all the rungs even where you put your feet. Kids were playing darts they wiped down the darts, the machines, I mean everything!! I just had to thorw this out there because I was thoroughly impressed. BTW the food is EXCELLENT !!!! read more

We had heard of another restaurant nearby that we wanted to try. The wait was too long so we asked google for other restaurants nearby. The second restaurant we stopped was only serving on line order pick ups, no sit down. A few doors down was Backroads. The third try was the charm. I love a good burger, the menu was large & the burger was perfect. My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich which was also good & the fries were nice & crispy. Fun atmosphere, great service & food. My family and I came to this place on a whim, and it was fantastic. Our waitress was very polite and personable. We started off with the cheese curds, and they came with a delightful chipotle ranch. I ordered the "3 AM Country Brunch" Burger, and it was delicious. It was cooked well, the toppings and sauces were great, and it had a unique flavor combination I've not seen in a burger ever before. First time going and loved their food. The atmosphere is really nice with dimmed lights. Kids got the cheese pizza and grilled cheese which they both liked. Burger was juicy and pretty big. Angry shrimp was so good and wing were pretty darn good as well. Next time getting the reaper Mayo sauce cause I like a nice kick to my wings. Which firecracker & mango Habanero didn't have. Stopped by after a baseball tournament game with about 9 kids and parents on a Saturday early in the evening. They were able to accommodate our group on the spot of about 25. The wait staff & management was phenomenal in taking care of us along with the other patrons. The food was excellent. The orders were all correct. Our drinks were alway full. Have driven past Backroads for years now and have never stopped in. Had gotten takeout once before awhile ago. We had gone on a Wednesday and they were pretty busy, they were doing a song bingo game but we only dined in. We did make a reservation and got sat right away, there was no wait however. Drinks were fantastic, strong but not enough to make it non enjoyable. We got the blueberry lemon drop, sweet but not overpowering and the mule which was good as well. We got cheese curds as an appetizer, delicious dipping sauce! We both got burgers as well, the Cheese Head and the Bourbon Barrel. Wish the Cheese Head had more cheese and less Chipotle Ranch, it sort of overpowered the burger. Seems like there's not a bad thing on the menu. Everything felt like high quality ingredients, the restaurants atmosphere was great to be around too. Staff was friendly and took care of us. Pricing is a bit up there but worth it! read more

We sometimes eat at this restaurant, and have always had a great experience. Tonight was no exception. Our server Jackie was excellent and attentive and accommodating. I always try their burger of the month. This month the burger was Beware Of Dog. It did not disappoint! Their burgers are fabulous, and this one was a mashup of a great bacon cheeseburger and Chicago dog with the works of toppings. Really enjoyed this meal and really hope it's brought back again soon. I work late and usually get out to eat around 8. Ever since Covid, Backroads has been kicking people out earlier and earlier. Tonight last call was 9:30 because a quarter inch of snow was on the ground. At 10:00, the manager was shutting off all of the TV's basically forcing us out the door. I didn't know my bedtime would be earlier and earlier every time I come here because the employees hate working here. Yes, they make it very clear that they don't want to be there and are trying everything they can to get out the door. Bar stools are pushed way out, brooms flying everywhere, no regard for the customers. As far as the Food, If Bob or the other long time cook are not working, your Burger will be dried out and burnt to a piece of Charcoal like mine was tonight. Sammy's will be opening soon, and I hope they don't treat their customers like this place does. This place has gone down hill bigtime since it opened. Later from a regular for many years. read more
