Love the atmosphere of this place! It's such a cool concept. I loved the backyard theme with all the cool interactive games. But... the service was some of the worst service I've ever had. We sat for a solid 30 minutes and had to stand up and ask someone to help serve our table. We ordered our drinks and food all at once because we were nervous they wouldn't come back to help us. And then they never gave us any utensils or napkins and we had to wait another 20 minutes to eat our salad until they finally came by to ask us how the food was so we could finally get a fork. Atmosphere is amazing and even though the male bartender when I ordered a spicy margarita that's on the menu asked if I wanted "the green things inside" aka the jalapeños kind of made me nervous but the drink some time later came out was actually really good. I went there on Saturday night for the first time with about 11 other people to celebrate a birthday. The drinks were excellent, however, the food was terrible. A few of us ordered the Beef & Cheese sandwich, sliced eye round beef and cheddar with horseradish- this sandwich had no taste, and French fries were way overdone and had no taste. Service is okay once you actually find a server! They all see you but leave you sitting there way too long with no "I'll be right there" or any contact. HH Backyard margarita specialty is very good. The beer pricing is good on HH as well. Once that clock pasts 6:00pm pricing is ridiculous! Food needs choices and quality needs improvement. Maybe it's a way to get people to drink but it's dangerous amounts. Check your bill. They inflate prices over the menus listed price. They did it with a turkey pot pie. It was $5 more than listed. The hostess sat us at a table that must have been the LOUDEST in the whole GD place. So after shouting at our waitress, and friends for 10 mins . We asked to be moved. Easy fix. The place is a little (lot ) loud , but it's still quite busy , so we must be in the minority. New table . I ordered the "seared" meatloaf with the "eggs over easy ". I wish i took a picture. The eggs were so fried you could bounce them off the ground. The yolks were SOLID , burned. As someone in the food industry , i ask myself how many hands did that plate pass before it got to me, that they found it acceptable to serve me such a clearly over cooked product. There is alot of work that needs to be done with the staff training. Oh ! And the meat loaf was like beef jerky. ‍‍‍ They took it off my bill. Much appreciated! I wish I could give this place zero stars. From start to finish, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The wait time was ridiculous -- we waited about an hour for our food. When we politely inquired about the long wait, we got a half-ass apology about being backed up in the kitchen. When I brought up that others who sat down after us got there food I was dismissed and told "we will just give you a discount" To make matters worse, after speaking to the manager who seemed to not care our waitress became incredibly rude and unprofessional and the management was dismissive and condescending. My wife and I along with our adult son and girlfriend met for lunch on Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was nice with the doors open and the breeze blowing through. It was busy but there was no wait. That said, this was my first time here and the service was extremely slow. Our server was very nice however we did not see her very often. She was clearly overloaded. It took 15 minutes until we were even greeted which is always a good indicator for what you're in for. The food was average yet combined with the slow service, returning customers will be in short supply if they don't make adjustments soon. First impressions are everything in the food business. We have been waiting for this place to open and were so excited to try it. We went on a Saturday and were seated at a high top right away. We ordered our drinks which came relatively quickly. The platinum margarita was great and the selection of beer was decent. We ordered the crispy wings as an appetizer and they were just OK. We were told that our entrées were going to take a while to cook, but we had nowhere to be so we were fine waiting. It was disappointing to find out that they didn't have a kids menu. We had to order an $18 burger for my son to eat just meat and cheese on a bun. My daughter daughter had to get the $16 chicken tenders. The rest of the menu was very scarce. It only had breakfast foods, one type of burger, and one type of flatbread or salad. I had the jalapeño burger, which was OK but nothing fancy with crinkle cut fries that seemed pretty cheap. My husband had the southwest Cobb, which was just lettuce with maybe a tablespoon of corn, three cherry tomatoes, and a teaspoon of tortilla strips and NO protein. We sent it back because it was so boring and the lettuce was wilted. The service was actually pretty good and the screens are awesome, we were thoroughly disappointed overall that the food does not match how awesome the venue is, we will give it a few more months in hopes that the kitchen works out the kinks. It was my 1st time here and I had shared the BBQ pizza with another family member and the service was great by our waitress and we had gotten there like 10 mins after it opened at 11:30 so it was still really quiet and super non busy. I have to say that this is probably one of there best tasting Bbq pizzas I a\have ever tasted here in Arizona. I would LOVE to come back again because of our amazing, friendly and awesome waitress. I can't exactly remember her name but our waitress keep checking in on us to see how our food was, top off our waters, and did an amazing job over all with her service and how she took care of us and made sure that all of our food was tasting great and asked if there was anything that she could get or help us with. Last I also love the vibe of the place with the old school chairs with the new, cool look to them, the white benches with like flowers and dog prints painted on them to give some color and to make the place look and feel more lively. My husband brought me here because he loves the big screens and said he had some really good potato skins made with short ribs the other day. I've been wanting to try it since they opened. It was busy but not overly. My husband walked in and grabbed the table he wanted and was curtly told by a server that we had to see the hostess first. She explained that we couldn't have that empty table because "she ( a server) had just been sat another table there". Never being in the food & bev service industry in his life, he didn't understand server sections and spacing. She could have said it in a much kinder and cordial way. I ended up explaining to him. Unfortunately, my first bite of short rib was a big piece of fat. On to the cauliflower which had a good flavored sauce but too much of it and not many pieces got roasted.
