Big ass burrito
Samantha L.

I left a 5 star reviews 3 years back, and I still stand by it. Had an issue with my order being placed at a different location. I didn't know they had multiple, and the website isn't user friendly on this option. The owner Roberto fixed this and I know he really didn't want to. I did not have time to drive all the way to the loop and back. It's difficult to dine out in this economy, $12 can be a lot for a meal. But it's a DELICIOUS breakfast burrito. One of the best I've ever had. Super filing, easily shareable. And great for those who like spice because they have great sauces! It's also packaged well to go.

Incredible food and service. Highly recommended! The breakfast burrito with sweet Italian sausage, pastrami, over medium eggs, chipotle hot sauce is amazing

I travel for work a lot especially to San Diego which is "Burrito Meca". Finding a quality place in Chicago has led to many wasted calories and quite a bit of disappointment. But when I ordered them (it's a ghost kitchen) I was very excited to see a Chicago take on the West Coast staple. This place has some epic burritos for sure! They look, smell, and taste delicious.... For the first 1/4 of it. Then you realize you're being tricked with their extreme usage of salt and umami flavoring. It becomes overwhelming no matter how hungry you are and setting it down is a MUST. Nothing about these burritos is meant to be "authentic" and so I won't judge them on that. They are great as a stand-alone, giant, delicious burrito. BUT a great burrito only needs hot salsa and a plate with corn tortillas underneath it; not a "secret sauce". It's delicious but it's also a sensory overload.

Haus Burrito Tater Tots

Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos is a spot that has popped up on my Uber Eats often. I finally decided to give them a try and - wow - am I glad I did. The prices are good and seem on par with most places I order from for a meal. The delivery was FAST compared to other restaurants I regularly order from. Because eggs can be tough with delivery, I was a little skeptical. When I unwrapped my burrito my first thoughts were how gigantic it was and quickly followed by happily seeing how warm and fresh it was. I ordered the Haus burrito (twice now LOL) with scrambled eggs. WOW. A really solid breakfast burrito. The onions add great flavor, the eggs were cooked perfect, the cheese was melty, and I love the hash browns/tater tots inside. The house sauce that comes on the side is also *chefs kiss* and I could put it on anything. Burrito is big enough to definitely be two meals for me. My experience was so great here that I bragged to my roommate and treated them to a burrito on my next order. I love this place and love having another quick, affordable and filling place to order from!

Borracho Burrito
Jesus T.

Had very high expectations for this place, but it was just ok. I got the borracho burito and my partner got the beyond breakfast burrito. Here are some points to note. Cons: - Both burritos were about 70% tater tots lol. So you're literally eating mostly carbs wrapped in carbs that are just slightly seasoned. - The protein in both burritos were incredibly sparse. Do you know what fresh bacon bits look like? That's what the "bacon" in my burrito looked like. There was also a single egg. - Nothing was seasoned. When you order you receives two sauces with your burrito. My mistake was tossing the sauces, because it needed flavor. Pros: - This burrito is MASSIVE (thanks to all the tots lol). I only ate half of it partially because of its size but also because bro, I don't understand how anyone can eat that many tater tots lol. - Hangover cure. Definitely did the trick, which is wild. Maybe they should stick inventing more of that?

Got this würst burrito with beef chorizo & pepper jack cheese and avocado. Wow. The burrito was huge, I couldn't even finish it. It tasted great and exactly what you wanted to taste in every bite. Definitely recommend trying!

The chicken was really bad. I think it was undercooked, and it had little taste to it, although that may be the preferred taste for some. I know it is not for me. I was supposed to get an order of mashed potatoes with the order of chicken, it was not included. I didn't call to complain because it seems like they have bigger problems to deal with. The delivery driver was very polite, though! One star for the kind service and another for the fact that the food was technically edible.I cannot give more because my order was missing an item, and there is nothing that I received that I would even somewhat consider ordering again. I think this might be a new business, and so I think I will give them time to improve before I consider giving Broaster a second shot.

What better time to unwrap the gift of a tamale than heading into the New Year. The signature tamale varieties available for ordering included cheese, pork, and chicken, along with the famous salsa verde. I opted for chicken and was pleased with my choice. The order came with reheating and freezing instructions. The masa is light and the chicken is fresh and high-quality. The perfect comfort food to add spice and warmth to a Chiago winter! I look forward to sampling some of the other varieties and appreciated this collaboration for spotlighting a locally owned business that I might not otherwise have had the opportunity to try.

Unfortunately, after hearing so much good feedback I decided to try them for myself. Sadly, they were a poor in substance and taste. And sadly his business didn't survive Covid. But he's reopened at another place on Diversey and Richmond between Sacramento and California out of a bar called Quality Time. I want to thank the bartender Dan or Stan(?) for helping me with my order. I ordered one dozen red tamales and a half-dozen chicken tamales. Complimentary salsa was given. Although the flavor for both tamales was good. Presentation had a lot to be desired in order for them to a true wrapped tamale. The filling on both at times were leaking from the side, as if the masa (cornmeal dough) wasn't completely covering the filling. And what's with the one single chintzy corn husk wrapping? I like that they didn't have a lot of masa covering the meat. But they were somewhat sloppy. And update your prices on your tamales since I was charged $12.00 per half-dozen instead of the $11.00 listed on your website. Or notify the customer of the price increase. One more thing, that salsa was very watery. Would I return, I don't know. The jury is still out on this one. But I might go back to the bar and try a special drink that was being offered and depend on how it went down. might order just a half dozen. I am going to check out a new establishment on Harlem Avenue near Addison, that sells tamales. And compare them to yours. The winner gets my return visits. The flavor was almost there, but packaging had a lot to be desired.

Stopped in for brunch one Sunday and was able to get a table immediately. Our server (Anna I…read morethink?) was very friendly. I decided to order the breakfast burrito without chorizo, subbing cheddar for the mozzarella that comes on it. Sidebar: mozzarella is an insane choice for cheese for a burrito. My partner ordered the avocado toast with no eggs and a side of fruit. Our food took a while to come out, which I found surprising given that the place wasn't packed. Maybe they were also doing their meal prep stuff? When it arrived, I was taken aback by how much cheese was in the burrito. It seemed like half the filling was cheese! Just too much for me. The menu said it came with homemade salsa, but as far as I can tell it just had diced onions and bell peppers and therefore needed more flavor. However the side of potatoes was perfect. Really well seasoned. The avocado toast was fine, but had a pretty strong citrus flavor that was overpowering. The prices are a bit high, but considering the cost of food and that they use high quality ingredients it's not surprising. I was hoping they'd give me a slight discount for making my burrito vegetarian but no such luck. I'm open to trying it again for lunch or dinner given the other stellar reviews, but I wasn't wowed this first time out.
