I was desperately looking for an alternative to Starbucks and was only even made aware of Bad Ass Coffees Hesperia location because of other people on social media promoting the business because of this locations open support of military service members So I made a point to pass 3 starbucks to patron this location. I was beyond impressed and honored to see bold patriotism displayed that I immediately decided this would be my new coffee house of choice. From my understanding this specific location is veteran owned and I would much rather spend my money supporting a local small business then a giant corporation. While there I mentioned how impressed I was that the American flag and a first responders were proudly hung in the shop when they informed me that they were just recently asked to remove the first responders due to the current climate. So many of us are desperately searching for places that we can feel good about supporting are even go to with out fear of being turned away. Genuinely don't understand why these people were so rude. I asked what the espresso shots were pulling at simply because I work with coffee myself, and I didn't want to receive anything too long, the barista who claimed to be the owner said she didn't know? Makes no sense, maybe she was being passive because I asked to read the ingredients on their oat milk carton. Basically, can't exactly handle a customer who just wants her drink made right or maybe they're just use to their usual blended drinks so when someone else actually wants a espresso drink made correctly they're intimidated by BASIC coffee knowledge. Also, when you ask for a refund they expect the drink back (never in any customer establishment have I've been told to choose between a drink or my money back) maybe I'm just old school. I am a sucker for coffee where ever I go, and this place has still been one of the best for me! the veteran owner is delightful and talkative, and the girls behind the counter remember my name and my favorite drinks! I feel comfortable in there. It's always clean, and i've noticed that when they aren't serving, everyone behind the counter is always cleaning something. At times things aren't working and I have to get something alternative, but I totally understand that. We're all human! I'be been seeing a lot of negative reviews, but the funniest part to me is that i've actually seen some of the people who leave those reviews, and guess what? they keep coming back! We've all tried big chain coffee shops like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, but if you want some really good coffee & a good experience you have to try Bad Ass Coffee! I ordered the iced caramel wave and it was perfectly made, it is on the sweeter side so if you don't like real sweet I'd suggest asking them for a little less sweetener. This place is amazing from the drinks to the pastries & down to the vibes. the girl that left a review saying the place sells blue lives matter merch & are "racist" is ignorant. This place is owned & ran by humble hard workers. There's no such thing as discrimination in this environment. There are people bothered bc they have a wall for first responders. Went here a while ago (before i knew they support blue lives matter) and got a caramel iced coffee which was trash i didn't even finish it. i'd rather make my own coffee at home than pay for overpriced gross coffee. I heard about this place from my mom and a friend. I decided to go with my husband a week after it opened. In the High Desert we need more options. We really enjoyed our coffee's, the staff is friendly, young and not overly energetic, which is a PLUS. Place was not overfilled , menu was just right as far as options. I went to Bad Ass Coffee in Hesperia, CA. The inside decor was surf and Hawaii inspired ...very cool. I saw a coffee mug I liked and bought it with yummy Monkey Mocha coffee. It's now my new found favorite. The servers were very nice. Sat down an enjoyed my coffee. I also saw a famous Armenian podcast celebrity "Narine Balikjian". She was nice enough to let me take a picture with her. read more

AWESOME!!!!! Service, I got the blended Caramel Vanilla Coffee. It's delicious, not too sweet or bitter just perfect. Destiny took my order, she was very welcoming when I entered the door. Great customer service, very polite and helpful in choosing my drink of choice. Would have preferred the coffee a little hotter but that is minor.
