I hadn't even finished ordering the ice cream and the donuts were already on the counter ready for me. The workers were also trying to catch a flying bee, and they ended up catching it. I decided to get an assortment of their classic donuts- glazed, sugar, chocolate, an old fashioned, sugar twist and a long John. Also noticed I got an extra donut! The donuts were sweet and soft, and the old fashioned had the crunchy edges. The store itself was clean and what you'd expect from a donut shop. They had a lot of drink options and sandwiches which I will be coming back try. Overall, I cannot believe it's taken me so long to stop in. I need to plan to leave for work earlier so I can stop in! I believe due to this business being the tea place originally and adding the donuts on may be the issue. I drove 15 minutes to try this place and am disappointed but we have decided to drive to another donut place. We did purchase some of the donuts a chocolate one, a buttermilk one and donut holes. I did not eat any due to the Nats flying around inside the case all over the donuts etc. My husband asked a neighbor if they wanted them with full disclosure and we were able to give them without throwing them away. I was told they were ok but old. The inside of the business is very bright and staff was ok, I could tell the frustration over it the Nats however as an owner being ok with selling them anyway bothers me. When I decided to drive here, it was due to seeing the strawberry doughnut, which looked nothing like the photo they display on the business. The one star is due to the kind young girl otherwise I'd have to give it a zero.
