    Ham and Cheese Croissant
    Jacob M.

Great little place to stop by for breakfast on the way out of downtown before hitting the 160. There's plenty of parking, the storefront is in a convenient location, and the staff are always friendly. I've noticed lots of repeat customers coming in, which gives it a real neighborhood feel that I really like inside the shop. I'm not a donut connoisseur by any means, but I've been here a few times and think it's a solid option. The donuts always taste fresh, and the donut holes are great. The ham and cheese croissant is especially good when you ask for it warmed up; it's huge with salty ham and gooey cheese. Today I needed a quick breakfast on the way to work and grabbed another ham and cheese croissant along with a raspberry jelly donut, which hit the spot. Overall, it's a solid donut shop: very affordable, great service, and consistently tasty. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area or heading out of downtown.

We stopped by 16th Street Donuts and it wasn't busy, which made it easy to order and find a place to sit. I had an apple fritter, two cake donuts with the maple one being especially good, a chocolate donut with peanuts, a cinnamon donut, and a regular chocolate donut. Everything tasted fresh. My girlfriend got a coffee and she liked it. The prices were reasonable for a downtown spot. Overall, it was a nice and easy visit, and I'd come back again.

16th Street donuts is great! My husband and I often come in on Saturday mornings before he goes to work in the morning and we are greeted by the nicest man who make sure we get what we need. After going there consistently, he memorized our coffee and donut order, he is very nice. The selection of donuts is perfect. There's a little something for everyone. I like how simple this donut shop is with donuts and coffee. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot. The ordering area is very clean and so is the display of donuts. I've seen this place get busy, but it runs smoothly. Customers get what they want and are out of the shop in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend you check out 16 Street Donuts if you want good donuts and coffee!

I'm 99% gluten free and rarely having sugars outside of fruit. That 1% is so I can maintain my humanity. Classic glazed- First bite- never fails- offers a welcome distraction by the fluffiness- my partner likes the jelly filled- and the maple bars. Best part, the service here is always so kind. The owners and today's service Man- all kind and regular folk. It's rare these days so I felt ppl should know. Get your sugars and sweets here- the coffee is solid as well. Do not come here for the ambiance!! You get in and out into your self provided ambiance and enjoy your sugars elsewhere.

16th street donuts was amazing! Old school donut shop with your classic flavors! The lady that works there (may also be the owner) was so sweet! We got 3 donuts for less than $5.00! Can't beat it! I recommend going to Sun House coffee shop and then checking them out since they're right across the street!

I haven't been to this donut shop in years, but my daughter was craving a doughnut, so we decided to stop by for breakfast. They had a good selection, the donuts were really tasty, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming. It was a nice little treat. Glad we made the stop!

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO GET COFFEE AT THE CAFE ACROSS THE STREET AFTERWARD. THEY WILL CALL A TOW TRUCK ON YOU EVEN IF YOU BUY DONUTS FROM THEM. They will tow you the second you step foot out of the door!! You 100% will get towed. They called a tow truck on me 2 minutes after buying my donuts and walking to the coffee shop next door - which is maybe 30 yards away. Lucky I saw the tow truck pull into the lot (because I literally just bought a donut 2 mins ago) and ran back to move my car. This is totally wrong and unprofessional because I just bought donuts from the business and it says customers can park there for 1 hour. I went back into the donut store to buy a homeless gentleman a donut and ask the owner why he tried to tow me and he said it's not a big deal and he's been in business for 25 years. The coffee shop seems to bring a ton of business to this block but DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

I ordered 3 sets of 5 dozen donuts in one week. 16th street donuts let me call in advance to place my orders while being so kind in the process. They were clean, timely, and the donuts were great! I got an apple fritter for myself and it was so great. Thank you!!

Someone bought more free donuts to work. This place still reigns as cheapest. I got to try the chocolate cake frosted and the crumb cake one I think? Still good. Taste like donuts. 5/5 especially for being free this time around.

My eye was first drawn to the churro, I haven't been able to have one in years, I was so excited. It was everything I ever wanted in a churro. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and coated with cinnamon sugar. I could have polished off a dozen of them! The apple fritter was also on my must try list. I grew up loving apple fritters and since having to go GF, it is my most missed donut-adjacent treat. This one was smaller than a normal one, but that was fine because I could actually enjoy it without it being too big. Perfectly fluffy with apple pieces and spiced just right, it was delicious. The cruellers were nice and crispy on the outside and just sweet enough. Glazed with chocolate or regular icing, they are a perfect donut. I have recommended this spot to others that are GF, they need to experience the joy of a prefect GF donut!

Both tasted very good but slightly different without dairy. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the flavor and textures. My friend ended up with the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie which was also great. I love a crunch or different texture mixed in. She did mention that the Rocky Road tasted a bit off because of the lack of dairy and the texture was a bit unusual. The staff were polite and patient and the place didn't seem that crowded for a Thursday around dinner time. I suppose with Ginger Elizabeth's and Rick's Dessert Diner all on the same strip, there is a lot of competition for dessert places here. We were happy to try something new. Everything was fairly clean and there was plenty of bar seating as well as a few tables. I believe there were also tables outside.

Their senorita bread is probably my favorite item at this bakery-my daughter introduced them to me one day and I've been hooked ever since-they r very enjoyable especially when eaten warm. They also feature a plethora of visually pleasing donuts-that I generally consider pretty good overall, with some much better than others-my favorite tend to be the cereal based donuts they have at this bakery. Their savory selection of bakery items,I generally skip but not due to them being any less yummy but usually only because when I visit here,I almost always go for the sweet stuff primarily-that being said their Jalapeño & Cheese "kolache" is off the hook-it's so good-the ham and cheese and pepperoni and cheese versions rock as well.We can't forget about their empanadas or lumpia-it's really great stuff they are serving at this bakery. This particular trip was unique in that I had been recommended this app called "TooGoodToGo" by fellow Yelp Elite All-Star Malikah H. & on this app I saw they were offering "surprise bags" for $5.99 to be picked up between 630p-7p-so I figured I'd try it out. When I arrived and showed the worker my order, she promptly walked to the back and then handed me a bag that was filled with unknown goodies.I opened the bag and inside were a random 6 of their best donut offerings-I was pretty thrilled considering these donuts usually run from $3-$4 each-so to get 6 of them for $5.99 felt like a solid deal. What I really liked about this "surprise bags" was it gave me the opportunity to try out flavors in their bakery I never would've tried on my own at a deeply discounted price-I loved the opportunity to do this and look forward to trying it again sometime. In closing-this bakery is pretty great and the surprise bag gives me another reason to love this bakery-not that I needed another reason-I consider myself a Bad Bakers loyalist and nothing has changed that for me-go ahead and try em out-they rock. PS-They do have a rewards program-so be sure to sign up for this when you go to Bad Bakers.

All the donuts looked very appealing, so decisions were hard. We ended up ordering the Mango Sticky Rice, Mango Sago, Ube Coconut, and Dubai Chocolate donuts. Also ordered a couple of the chewy Dubai cookies. The donuts were about $6 each. Hubs noted the way the donuts were decorated were like pieces of art. As for the taste, they were good! My fave was the Ube Coconut. The mango ones were good too; the mango flavor really came through. They both tasted pretty much the same - just that one had sticky rice and the other had sago. The donuts were soft and not too sweet. If you like chocolate, you'll love the Dubai Chocolate donut. The chewy Dubai cookie is like a stuffed mochi - quite sweet. We picked up two Dubai Chew Cookies, which I really enjoyed. The mochi exterior gave them a fun texture and they were surprisingly good. We also tried their Mango Sago donuts, and while they were definitely different from your typical donut, they were unique and delicious. To round things out, we got a classic sprinkle donut, a chocolate glazed donut, and they even threw in three donut holes, which was a nice surprise. For drinks, we ordered the Dot Cake Coffee Latte ($9) and the Dot Cake Matcha Latte ($8). The drinks were decent, but both had way too much ice. The matcha latte tasted more like milk than matcha, which was a little disappointing. Altogether, our order came out to around $54, which feels pretty pricey for donuts and drinks. Overall, I'm glad we finally gave this place a try. The specialty donuts were creative and tasty, and you can tell they put effort into making something different. That said, because of the price point, it's probably more of an occasional treat for me rather than a spot I'd visit regularly. Definitely worth checking out at least once if you're curious
