I was looking for a good burger and I found one. Sweet potato fries are pretty typical. I had the bacon cheeseburger on steroids. I couldn't even fit it in my mouth. I took a few bites until my jaw started to crack and then I ate it with a butter knife and fork. I think it had six pieces of bacon and a half inch thick burger, it was crazy. The gluten-free bun was one of the best buns I've had. Very moist with good texture. Destiny was the bartender and she seemed to have many friends around the bar. Locals came in and knew her by name they had good conversation. She was good company. Very polite. The three girls at the front door wouldn't even stop to say thank you or goodbye when I walked out the door. Next time I'm in town I will definitely come by here again read more

Bad Daddy has a fun tavern atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. I'm personally partial to the Smokehouse Burger and Bad Daddy Amber Ale. We went to Bad Daddy's Burger Bar on 52nd & Wadsworth in Arvada (Colorado). I ordered the Magic Mushroom burger & no bun because I am GF...my husband ordered a Patty Melt w/out a bun. The waiter didn't ask how we wanted the burgers cooked! We both like burgers fairly well done & as my husband was eating his burger was ok around the edges, but the center was pretty much raw! So now he won't go back there to eat even though I told him I had been to Bad Daddy's before at a different location & it was good & that just depends on the cook they have on staff when you go there! I waved the waiter down & we showed him the raw burger & he apologized & offered to give my husband free fries or whatever, but we said no need. The waiter took the raw burger off of the bill anyhow. That was nice of the waiter but? My personal opinion is that waiters should always ask how done you want a burger but? He was super nice. My burger was a little more pink than I usually like it but not inedible! My husband will not go back there, but I'll still go to a Bad Daddy's with friends if they want to go there! I went in for lunch. When I paid I used a visa gift card that I received for Xmas. The card was black the bill sleave was black.. and I forgot my card. It was a $200 gift card!!! Yum and great for quick take-out. We've eaten here a couple of times and so far, I haven't had a bad burger or sandwich. I've had their chicken sandwich which was great- crispy but juicy. I've also had some of their burgers, and my fav is the mushroom! They also have great fries and I'm a ranch snob and their gets a thumbs up. I've only eaten here once and the eat in service wasn't great- we were missing items and had to ask multiple times. Reading the reviews, it appears that Bad Daddy's has been getting their game on over the last few months, and our experience was no exception. This is a good location - just off of I-70 and Wadsworth with good access and ample parking. Note that Bad Daddy's is busy ... and loud ... not a criticism, it is what it is and just know that when you go there. It's especially busy on weekend nights - a happening place if you're young and hip. Or, if you're old and irrelevant like me, a weeknight is a better option for you. You can get a few "non-burgers" and salads, but understand that Bad Daddy's BURGER BAR is about burgers - good burgers - good and interesting burgers. You can create-your-own or they have a number of "designer" burgers. I had the Magic Mushroom Burger (sautéed morel, shitake, chanterelle and oyster mushrooms, Swiss cheese, creamy truffle aioli and arugula). Over time I will probably just work my way down the menu, but I think that the Classic Southern Burger (American cheese, Daddy's chili, relish, mustard and house slaw) is probably next on my list. Several sides to choose from - the hand-cut french fries were delicious. If you're inclined to an adult beverage, Bad Daddy's has a full bar, but it's clear that what they're really about is draft craft beer. Turns out that we went on a "Bad Ass Tuesday" and one of the draft crafts, the Bad Daddy's Full Sail Amber Ale (Hood River, Oregon), was a two-fer - a perfect complement to a really good burger (along with pleasant and attentive service). I will definitely be back to Bad Daddy's - on a weeknight because I'm not young and hip enough for a weekend. But not at 4:30 in the afternoon - I'm not that old. Five star review for a few reasons. There was a slight mishap where I ended up with someone else's burger which is an honest mistake, it happens. They quickly came and informed me of the mishap (the burger I got was just as bomb) and were super accommodating. I mean I'm not gonna complain over it in the first place because I understand! We wanted to try this place in the Arvada Marketplace since it was new, we heard good things, and they had a "Veggie" burger. It was okay, but not great. There were both good things, and bad things about this place. The good is that it is nicely decorated, comfortable, and they played a lot of 70's and 80's music we hadn't heard in a while. The ambiance and atmosphere were perfect for this kind of venue, and the service was extraordinary. The bad was that the "veggie" burger was a disappointing Black Bean patty, and the fries were not to my liking. I like a veggie burger, even a black bean burger, to have a better consistency, and most do not. This one did not. It was soft, gooshy, and fell out of my bun when I tried to eat it. The flavor was not as good as I have experienced in a black bean, either. I don't think they will lose much sleep over this since this is not their focus, but I did want to give a heads up to any other vegetarians thinking about dining here. As for the fries, I was excited when I read "hand cut," or "house cut" on the menu. I thought they would be bigger, and more like steak fries. They were not. They were the thin-cut, shoestring fries like those served at Buffalo Rose in Golden. They were not very appetizing to begin with, and they got cold way too fast. I think the food cooling down quickly has something to do with their ventilation system, but it was not conducive to an overall good dining experience. I was impressed with their beer, though. They have a good selection of good beers at good, happy hour prices if you come at the right time. The service, too, was beyond reproach. A very knowledgeable, and helpful bartender served us at the bar. My advice to anyone reading this is to use your own judgment. Some people like the "skinny" fries. If that's what you like, they have them here. Some people like the "gooshy" black bean burgers, too, and they have those. This place is better for "adults" than Red Robin across the parking lot, but, if you want a better veggie burger, and you want better fries, go to Red Robin. The fries are way better, (in my opinion), and they are bottomless for about the same price! The veggie burger is way better, too. It actually has texture, and flavor. Negatives: 1. There are always at least 6.2 flies in the restaurant. It actually gets really annoying. Went for lunch with my 60 year old Dad. I was in a position where my wallet was stolen and had only a copy of my passport. The burger was a 3 but the experience was a 2. I had done advance work in hopes of enjoying a good burger for lunch before catching a flight. Arrived at 11:30 on Sunday. I grabbed a seat on the patio ready for my burger, fries and shake. The bacon cheeseburger was good, cooked just as ordered which was medium rare. That's nice. The burger wasn't really thick but it was tasty. Here is the sad part. They couldn't make me a shake. Apparently they opened at 11 am and the shake machine wasn't ready and it would take 30 minutes to make my shake if I still wanted one. Well I wanted one, but not as dessert. I settled on a root beer. Service was great and they even comp'd my root beer. I will agree with an earlier review, for me the music was too loud including inside and on the patio. My husband and I went to Bad Daddys this weekend for the first time and it was the best burger I have had anywhere in Denver. They cooked the patty perfectly rare, which is impossible to find these days, and the quality of the food was very high. We were seated immediately, our server was friendly, prompt, attentive. I know they've only been open a short while and some kinks will eventually work themselves out. I'll change my rating as things get better (or hopefully not worse). We were three at dinner and the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids caught all our eyes. I added a fried egg on top because, you know it's a fried egg on top! I went with a 20 oz pour of Ska Brewing's Modus Mandarina IPA and my bro had a 4 Noses Bout Damn Time IPA. Due to a mixup in the kitchen the order of onion rings didn't make it out ahead of time but came with our dinner and the waitress comped them. Nicely done. When the food came out (in a somwhat timely manner. We went early to avoid the main rush but they were still a little pressed) I wasn't impressed. This was my third or fourth visit to a Bad Daddy's but my first time ordering the Bacon Cheeseburger and they are wrapped with paper negating the wow factor of a "piled high" burger. Hopefully it's only this one sandwich that they throw the "too tight burger bra on" because food is definitely a visual experience. I attempted to pick up my burger but there was some sort of gooey-ness all over the bottom of the wrapper and in my plate. They broke my damn over easy egg! I paid $1.50 extra for that privilege damn it! The beauty of an egg on a sandwich is that it serves as kind of a condiment when eaten correctly. My condiment had been mostly absorbed by the wrapper and the tray liner. Speaking of condiments... no hot sauce? Not even Tabasco? I NEED MY CHOLULA DAMN IT! Not sure what kind of hamburger they use, but for me there was a lot of gristle and I bit into what seemed like a piece of bone. I'm guessing they don't use a very good grade of beef. This really turns my stomach when this happens to me so I had a hard time finishing it. However the homemade potato chips were awesome. If you love your meat overcooked, are offended by the site of pink and concept of "medium"makes you want to join ISIS, Bad Daddy's is your place. Twice, on two separate occasions, they have failed to cook my burger medium. Don't be afraid, you won't actually have to concentrate on your food. You can watch SPORTS! This is my second unfortunate experience at this food hell. The first experience was so bad, I was gifted (or tricked) into coming back with a free coupon. The first time was pure exploration. This second time, was wretched trickery. As a point of comparison, I would prefer a Jack-in-the-Box, Bacon Swiss Buttery Jack over this crap any day. So rush in if you must. Rush in if good taste is dry, overcooked, poorly seasoned (if at all) meat, topped with mounds of cheap, salty toppings and sauces. Great food, great service, and all that...but when we went it was just after the lunch crowd so not that busy yet the noise level from the music or radio was way too loud. Hey my spouse tells me I'm deaf at times but this place was almost blasting with noise. There were TV's and a few people eating but that noise needs to be modulated. Pricing was average to a bit high but acceptable. We experienced no delay in ordering and receiving our food so those comments on slow service we never saw. I'm not saying it's fast food quick but it was timely to me. There is a patio on the side but the seating looked uncomfortable so we were seated in a booth that was quite roomy. My patty melt came with tater tots which I chose and they were very nicely done. Hers was a made to order burger and she picked the fruit instead of fries, sweet potato fries, tots or a small salad (which was extra). Worth trying for the food though not the noise! The menu is not as extensive as the nearby Red Robin but still there was some variety for the non burger crowd. Returned in a few months for another look. The burgers are quite good and I had mine with tater tots which were excellent. Two others with me must have enjoyed theirs because there were no leftovers! Football was on the many TV's so that was nice too! They had a side dish of fruit which seemed fresh and tasty. My husband and I decided to give Bad Daddy's Burger Bar a try recently. We eat out probably 5 times a week. One of my major deductions had to do with the incredibly loud music. I literally had a headache by the time we left. Very few places we eat anymore are quiet, but this was excessive. Add the blasting music to the people shouting at one another and it made for a less than enjoyable experience. As for the food/menu...it seems to me that so many new places are trying to come up with the most original burger toppings possible. I find it to be overwhelming. Most of the menu was 'over the top' burgers. Doubt we'll go back, but as seen by the other reviews, apparently many people like Bad Daddy's. Bad Daddy's is a really bad place to work for just letting you know what they did to me when covid happened they immediately fired everybody and then after 8 days they hired two Cooks back I was one of them and we worked all through covid and busted our butts and no appreciation all they gave us was a little t-shirt while the managers took all the tips and I worked there for over a year and they just don't care about their employees that much kind of sad I would not recommend working here for anybody that's in restaurants right now read more

Expected more from something that is called a Burger Bar. I would say it was average at best. The meat lacked seasoning and so juicy that the bread on the patty melt was soggy. I was in the hunt for burgers and was glad I found this right in my neighborhood. They don't serve your typical type of cheeseburger but offer a twist on the classics and some completely original and unique options too. For me, a good burger is all about a good quality patty and how the toppings and condiments complement each other. I like all the fancy toppings and unique burger inventions so I knew this place and I will be friends. I got the magic mushroom which came with a load of mushrooms (not your typical button mushrooms), Swiss cheese, and arugula. I ordered mine medium well and was happy to find it done exactly that. The arugula provided a bit of a spice and cut through the heaviness of the burger. I was surprised to find so much mushrooms, I love mushrooms! The prices of these burgers are on the more expensive side $11-$13 for most burgers. You can also customize your own burger, the base start at $9.50 (or something like that) and you can add your toppings for extra. I was excited to see they had tater tots, my favorite type of potato. They also have regular fries (shoe string type), sweet potato fries, and I think also onion rings. The aioli that came with the tater tots was great as well. When we went, they were asking donations for hurricane relief and offered a free beer if we donated $5 which was cool to see. In terms of ambience, it reminds me of a sports bar because they have many tv monitors with college football games on. So it's a good place to catch a good meal while watching your favorite sports team (Go Wisconsin Badgers!). There's outdoor seating as well if you want a quieter space but there's not a wall that divides the outside from the inside, it's the modern open concept. I've been here four times and I am hoping today was just a very off day for these folks. Cons: Please don't card my 71-year-old mother when she orders a Cosmopolitan. They don't ID check her at IHOP when order from the senior menu. I get the service industry and Colorado's regulations, but this just lacked decorum. Please don't say you have a button that mixes a Cosmopolitan and then return with some lime cranberry infused vodka thing. Simply say, I have never heard of that, we do have a full bar and I am sure our bartender is will to look that up. Lastly, Buffalo should never be overcooked, which is why I asked for medium but got well done. Pros: Our service, green at best, was very attentive, did offer to replace the Cosmopolitan, however, mom was not having it, so she did remove it from our bill. Folks here really are nice, but today it felt a little too, perhaps the word is unsure about the food and drink.
