This evening my other half and I were shopping in the area and hungry. A friend recommended this place, so off we went. We were lucky since we arrived before the Friday dinner crowd . Seated quickly and drink order taken. I went with a HH cucumber cosmo and he chose a soft drink and the house made potato chips for an appetizer. Not too long of a wait and drinks and app arrived. The chips come with ranch or French onion dressing , but I asked for BBQ sauce. Yum! My drink was a bit on the weak side, it really needed that vodka kick. The wait was a bit long for the food. My guy ordered the All American burger with Onion rings and for me, Black bean burger with fries. My burger was fried, you can get it grilled also as an option. It was good but I was surprised it had avocado. I was pleased.The chipotle sauce was ok but I think next time I'll try it grilled to see if that helps the flavor of the chipotle. Overall it wasn't bad. My other half enjoyed his burger for sure. He tends to loves his burger plain, mayo and mustard is his "secret sauce", LOL. But he was really quiet on his side of the table eating so I know it was really good. Will we be back? Sure. I met some work friends here for lunch yesterday 9/29 around noon. The place was less than half full. Had the bacon burger on steroids and fries. Fries are legit, love a good crispy seasoned fry. The burger was cooked medium as requested and tasted fantastic. Good beers and great food. I will say this place is extremely over priced. $17.45 for a burger and you want another tree fitty for fries? Food amazing, the service for lunch on a weekday was super super slow. Disappointing when the place had only a few tables. The waitress brought us waters right away and we didn't see her again for 20 minutes. She was SUPER flustered and apologized over and over. The wait for 2 burgers was almost 30. If you're going to charge over $20 for burgers and fries at least have fast and responsive service. Great food but sorry guys, not on our return list. We have been to a BDB before in Colorado so we were excited to try one out here in KC. We ordered a couple of burgers well done and after a short wait got our meals. Tonight we came in and the food is always great and delicious but I just wanted to leave a review for Nick S, this gentleman was polite,checked on us frequently, and was very nice. Amazing time. An old friend and I were catching up for over 3 hours, and not one time were we rushed or politely asked to hurry along. The young manager came over multiple times refilling our drinks, asking if we needed anything else and reassured us that we were fine. The waitress saw we were catching up and was polite and gave us ample time to look over the menu. Now comes the disappointment First I was disappointed when my food arrives and I paid $1 extra over regular side of fries for onion rings... 4 of them, really 4 onion rings! If there were six I would have been ok but then I bit in and the whole slimy onion slides out of the "beer batter" this is what happens when you freeze onions! Need to make them fresh in house with fresh crisp onions. Eric came out since I expressed my disappointment about the quantity and the quality of said onion rings. He was very nice and wanted me to be happy so that I return. He said corporate policy was 4 and changed to frozen when they used to make them in store. They want $8 if you order a side of onion rings DON'T because you'll probably get only 6 and they aren't any good anyway. Second if you like flat top cooked burgers then that's how they do it but the 7oz or 10oz patty I think don't cook well on a flat a top grill. Would cook better on a flame grill or make two 3.5oz patties or two 5oz and call them doubles. The cooking scale is off I ordered medium and got medium rare at best so order at least one above your normal if not two. To me 7oz is the max size I want otherwise your bun to burger ratio is off. I just realized I never got the $1 pepper jack cheese I requested either but charged for it Third 2.95 for a soda anywhere but Elway's is to much Fourth $19 is way to much for what you get Fifth need paper towel holders I don't particularly like sticking my finger in the tube where everyone else does as well Sixth On a positive note they offered me a different side when I voiced my disappointment (fries) they were good and they really did want me to have a positive food experience but they only recommended me sending in feedback to corporate which I did before I left. After I finally realize that the people eating next to me ordered way after I ordered and they'll were finishing their meals I ask the bar tender what is going on and it turns out my food was sitting at the host stand and has been. Yum! My husband and I met a friend here for lunch and it was hoppin. They greeted us promptly and seated us right away. Our waitress and the guy she was training were so very kind and attentive. They gave us the info on all the great specials and then brought us our drinks fast. I joined the E-Club (just sign up on their website) and I got a free appetizer so that was awesome. We got the Bacon Queso and it was YUM! I built my own burger (they have little sheets to fill out if you want to build your own) and I got regular fries. I ordered the gluten free bun on my Bistro burger. I know, some of you are rolling your eyes already. I'm a meat eater and love burgers and steaks. But I hate dry puffy wheat substitute sponge-like buns that soak up every bit of flavor and moisture in a burger. That's exactly what they served me, straight out of the cooler. Yep, it was freezing cold with a semi warm over cooked meat patty in between. I ordered it medium and was warned it would come out pink and juicy. It was done well and tough. We stopped in today for lunch after landing in Denver from Austin, TX, and are so glad we did! Everything was wonderful, from our very attentive waiter (Nic) to the yummy food. I ordered the Kim's Honey Chicken sandwich which was amazing (messy but so tasty!). My hubby ordered the Salmon Teriyaki sandwich & Chunky Elvis shake and enjoyed both. I've had many different items from the menu and it all really good, I highly recommend the Buffalo chicken sandwich (no blue cheese for me) sauced perfectly not overly spicy or vinegary. We were here for maybe 2 hours before we were told we were loud and we're getting complaints from the customers inside and that if we kept it up we would be asked to leave. We were sitting outside on the covered patio area we were the only people there. The other customers were inside where it was loud with more hustle and bustle. Wait staff was great. Everything came out hot, fresh, and fast. The beer selection was good. I had a beer I can't honestly remember the name of but it was a blood orange ipa. Amazing beer!!! Now for the food, I ordered just a traditional cheeseburger with cheese with green chili on it. And when it arrived it was stacked at least 6-7 inches high. It was a monster. I didn't know how to attack it. However I tried, it was going to be a mess. They stacked way too much lettuce on it and the tomato was as thick as the patty. I liked it but I didn't love it. Another Bad Daddies location. Always love the little sheets of paper to design your own burger. Those are very easy to use to be sure you get exactly what you want, exactly the way you want it. This location also had great service on this visit. Our daughter is turning two and we were meeting up with her grandparents for a birthday dinner. The server was very personable and also brought our daughter a birthday ice cream on the house. The only thing I'm not a fan of at Bad Daddies are the prices... quite steep! The prices and atmosphere seem geared for young, single, spoiled millennials with more money than sense. When the server came out and placed it in front of me, my first though was OMG! how am I going to eat this! They have really great food but lack on cooking the main component (Burgers)!! The 2 times I have eaten there I have had an under cooked burger. I asked both times for a medium well burger but got a raw burger. The first time I let it go but the second time is a no go. Popped in here on a lark when we didn't have food in the house. Definitely a huge sports bar, but if you ignore the 25 giant screens around, it's a fun pub place. So many yummy options on the menu, lots of great beer choices. Good and bad they show the nutrition for everything - so you can try and make a good choice. I have been to this location several times and initially had a great experience, but the last 2 times, which were a few months apart left a lot to be desired. We had dinner there this past Saturday night. I'm pretty sure we had the same server on our last 2 visits because she was really bad in the same way both times. She was basically non-existent. We ordered drinks first, which took about 10 minutes, my husband the blood orange old fashioned and the bee's knees for me. His was pretty good, but I couldn't taste any gin in mine at all, just lemon and honey. We ordered wings and let her know we were planning on ordering more. She dropped off the wings and we weren't sure yet what else we wanted, so we asked for a couple of minutes. She didn't return for another 20 minutes. We had finished the wings (nice and crispy, but some didn't even have any buffalo sauce on them) and drinks as well as our waters and just sat there waiting for her. It doesn't take that long for 2 people to finish 4 wings each. She finally returned and we ordered a burger. We were disappointed that their burgers no longer come with a side, so we ordered some fries as well. My husband ordered a beer. The burger came out before the beer. The bistro burger tasted really great, but definitely not a $12 burger as it doesn't come with a side. The side of fries we received was tiny. After finishing our food and sitting there again for around 5 min she came to give us our check. It was pretty sad as the table of guys next to us had a different server and received great service. They were seated after us, received drinks (several rounds) and food before us and left before us as well. This place used to be a go to for us when we wanted a burger. We especially loved that you could build your own salad instead of get fries, but I doubt we will be back anytime soon after our past couple of experiences. read more

Pretty average, greasy, fried food. My husband ordered a burger and didn't realize the bacon on it was deep fried! Like, breaded and fried... it looked like chicken when it came out the batter was so thick and I'm pregnant and looking at it made me nauseated. My burger was fine; I ordered the coleslaw as a side since they didn't have a house salad... it was a mustard based dressing (instead of traditional sweet slaw) which just highlighted the bitterness of the cabbage! I tried to order a milkshake but they were out of ice cream... The atmosphere is very bar like, which I should have anticipated based on the name, but it was really hard to hear my husband sitting next to me. We were given "free appetizer" coupons to encourage us to come back (even though we didn't complain) so I would say the service was good, which is the reason for three stars.
