When I need a good burger or sandwich this is where I go for a local joint. Honestly, Southlands doesn't have many options so this is it. Their burgers, sandwiches, or salads are pretty damn good for the price point. Don't forget the green chili tater tots either! Paired with a cold glass of beer, this is a go to. I was really disappointed. It took over 20 minutes for anyone to stop at our table and even take our drink order. Then it took another 10 minutes to even get our drinks. Our waiter only came up to us once, which was to take our drink and food order, after that we never saw him at all. We were seated in the back by the kitchen and we waved down all sorts of other waiters and waitresses to get us napkins, dips, and refills. I ordered the bacon on steroids ... Bad Daddy's will always be my go to place for CYO burgers (and salads)! The service is great, atmosphere is always loud, and the food is always delicious! I will say one fault is the length of how long it takes to get your food. We usually plan on getting an appetizer if we come exceptionally hungry just to help mitigate the lengthy waiting process for your entrees to come. I love all the custom options they offer for their burgers- from different protein, several options of cheeses, to a plethora of toppings- standard and premium, you can be sure to find a combination to your liking. Pro tip- get the bacon queso and chips and save some of the dip to top over your fries! Bacon cheese fries! First visit--We've eaten at the Streets of Southglenn Bad Daddy's numerous times, but today was our first visit to the Southlands location. It was a rather mixed success. The food was as expected, but there were other problems. First, the food. We ordered burgers from the standard menu: The Magic Mushroom Burger and the Bistro Burger, accompanied by a large order of sweet potato fries. Burgers were cooked to order, and we were very pleased with our food. The restaurant was not particularly busy (2 pm on a Friday) but service was slow due to understaffing. Our server was Nastassi, and she was very personable, but she was also on bar duty and said she was making lots of margaritas. Luckily another server noticed our attempts to get Nastassi's attention, and got beverage refills for us. There was no soap or hand sanitizer in the men's room. I had called twice before we went to ask questions about patio seating, and each time no employee came on the line when requested. I declined to leave a message in the mailbox. Parking at this location is not plentiful. It wasn't bad for this visit, but I suspect on weekends and evenings parking will be difficult. Will we return? Probably. I ordered two turkey burgers with tater tots to go. After arriving home, my wife and I went to eat our food, hers was supposed to have cheese and pickles and it had neither. I was in the Southlands Shopping Center on Friday, June 7, 2024. I had just dropped off my Pedego Electric bike at the Pedego store for service and was looking for a dog friendly restaurant so I could grab some lunch while I waited. Even though Yelp said Bad Daddy's didn't allow dogs, I called to ask because they did have outside seating. They told me they did allow dogs on the patio. Kat led me & my tiny chihuahua onto the patio. It was a hot day and she immediately asked if I'd like water for my dog. She brought a bowl and held it for my tiny dog. How kind was that? Then my server, Emma, came to greet me and take my order. I wanted a burger. I asked if it came with fries, chips or anything. She said it didn't; that would have to be ordered separately. She did point out that the burger was pretty substantial. She suggested that I could always order a side after I got my burger. She said if I did, she'd get it straightaway. I went with her suggestion. While we were waiting, a big storm came out of nowhere. The wind was very strong and was blowing things around outside of the patio. The staff immediately lowered the canvas enclosures, however, one must have come off of the tracks, so it was loose and flapping in the wind. There were a couple of ladies seated with their service dog near that canvas window. One of the other employees, Jess, came out to try to secure that flapping window. The poor service dog was very frightened. Do you know that Jess dropped to her knees and hugged the dog to comfort him? Her kindness brought tears to my eyes. She encouraged them to go inside the restaurant, while she wrestled with the wildly flapping canvas window. The wind was fierce, and it seemed to take all of her strength to try to hold it down. Now that is a committed employee! The wind finally stopped, and my food was brought out. I should have taken a picture of it because it was epic! It was one of the most delicious burgers I could remember eating. I've never heard of Bad Daddy's Burger Bar before, but, boy, was I glad I decided to eat there! I can't thank Emma, Jess, and Kat enough for their excellent service! They all bent over backwards to make sure I had a wonderful experience, and I certainly did! I hope if management sees this review, they will do something special to acknowledge these amazing employees. Went straight from the movies with a friend and our young daughters. They were carrying empty popcorn buckets and minion cups. The manager "welcomed" us by saying "you can't have those here" to the cups. We just look at him and say "ok" and he said they have to dump them. Again, ok. Then when this manager (male) brought the empty cups back and told us we were just mad we got caught bringing in alcohol and was beyond rude. We were not upset and the cups had sprite, not alcohol. Wine walk night. Bad is all I can say about the sliders featured in the pamphlet. The bar tender said the manager sent staff home during busy event. Sliders burnt and cold. How does that happen? Not sure why I have yet to write a review for Bad Daddy's because this place is one of our more chainy burger faves. Actually, one of the first places we visited when we first moved, and we just keep finding our way back. You can't really go wrong with their burgers, so order what your hungry beef lovin' heart is pulled to (or non-beef, they have a couple of chicken, black bean, and seafood burger options too). My go-to is usually the Magic Mushroom Burger (sautéed morel, shiitake, chanterelle and oyster mushrooms, Swiss cheese, creamy truffle aioli and arugula). The more shroom the better for me. On a recent visit, I went with the Bistro Burger which comes topped applewood smoked bacon, smoked Gouda, grilled onions, arugula & a chipotle avocado crema. Both of these are delicious, juicy and always cooked medium to my liking. They're good at letting the beef stand out even with all the other bells and whistles under the bun. We also recently discovered that we're very into their deviled eggs. Actually, the menu calls them Not Your Mama's Deviled Eggs, and they're right. Lightly fried deviled eggs, so they have a nice, light crunch all the way around with a spicy egg yolk filling topped with crumbled bacon and a jalapeno slice. It's served with a delightful little cabbage salad of sorts with a sweet chili sauce that doesn't seem like it would work with deviled eggs, but really just does. Never a bad time when we're at Bad Daddy's. This Southlands location is where we usually go, but have gone to one other around the city and the food is consistently good. read more

Finally went to go see what all the hype about Bad Daddy's burgers was. It is definitely overrated and not worth the hype. I'm leaving a one star because it's required to rate in order to write a review. This place would get no stars if that was a possibility. We went in, sat down, and placed our order. We waited about 45 minutes and still no food or sign of our waitress. The table across from us arrived about 10 minutes after us and yet they had their food before we did. I had to ask a server that wasn't waiting on our table (since I couldn't find our server) if I can just cancel our order because it was taking too long. That server went to look for my server after I made a complaint. She came to the table (no food in sight) and said "oh, they haven't brought your food out yet? That's weird because my ticket is gone." I told her no and I was ready to go. She eventually found my order in the TO GO section after waiting for soooo long. The food was cold and soggy by that time but I couldn't stand being in there any longer so I took it and left! Once I left I realized that an order of fries was missing so I had to go back in and wait again for my order of fries. Mind you all I ordered was two burgers and fries and they still messed that up! Once I got home to eat this soggy and cold meal I see that the burger I ordered (The Bacon cheeseburger on steroids) was raw and had red onions when I had ordered no onions. The bacon was so hard I couldn't even bite through it. The buffalo chicken sandwich was burnt and only tasted of blue cheese. I've had better burgers and chicken sandwiches at McDonald's and Chik-Fil-A. This was such a terrible experience. The service and food were dreadful and the order was wrong about three different times. Never going to this location or recommending it. I'm disappointed and will never step foot in a Bad Daddy's again. read more
