Italian Sausage Sub
Ryan K.

Tried the Italian Sausage Sandwich from Bada Bing Grill, and it did not disappoint! I've previously had their Gyro and Philly Cheesesteak, and all three sandwiches have been consistently excellent--packed with flavor and served hot. The real surprise? The French fries--crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely addictive. Easily some of the best fries I've had from a local spot. This particular order was delivered to our office and arrived 20 minutes earlier than estimated. The delivery person was friendly and professional, which added to the great experience. If you're in western Arvada and looking for solid comfort food done right, give Bada Bing Grill a try!

Not sure what's going on here

I've been a loyal patron of Bada Bing for years, drawn to its charming small business ethos and the personal touch that seemed to permeate every aspect of the establishment. Sadly, it appears that this beloved gem has undergone significant changes. Paul the old owner has sold and none of the staff was kept . It feels weird and empty to me . Not the place I once knew .The food is just not the same and I'm pretty disappointed. I'm not sure what the future holds for this place but I do wish it well .

Fresh, tasty food. Friendly local spot. So glad they're back! They even improved the dining room for a more cozy ambiance. Great variety of Greek, Italian, and Indian dishes. Don't skip the fried momas.

Vegetarian Pizza that was hardly cooked
Simone R.

We ordered a pizza from here after wanting to try for a long time and were sadly underwhelmed. The crust was barley cooked and wiggly. We were also upcharged $4 for mushrooms on the pizza that were canned not fresh which was a bit of a bummer. I was also shocked tbay the pizza was $32 for a large vegetarian. Bummed but really wanted to love it.

Pepperoni pizza. Looks great, strange texture.
Danny L.

The pizza was not great. There was a sort of chewy, rubbery texture to the pizza. If it were not $30 after tip for a plain pepperoni pizza, I would not have minded, but it was. My review may change, as they have a wide menu and I plan on trying some of their Greek, and even Indian offerings, but if the pizza is the measure, I am not a fan.

Confirmation of times

We ordered a calzone and cannoli. The original time was 5:46. We received a text pushing it back to 5:52. We show up at 6 and were told 5 more minutes. Finally at 6:25 our food was ready. No compensation or apology was offered. The extra sauce we paid for was also missing. The manager "hid" in the back and left a teen to handle the register and pick ups.

gyro sandwich with fries + chicken bowl
Yvonne J.

We've only tried the gyro sandwich and chicken bowl here because it is so good, we haven't had a chance to try their other offerings. The gyro is juicy and flavorful. The veggies are fresh and crispy. The fries are crispy and seasoned just right. The chicken bowl always comes with a good amount of chicken and the lemon rice is soo tasty. I usually have some amount of leftovers, so it's a good deal too. I'll sometimes get the avgolemono soup, which is a lemony chicken and rice soup, and so so good, but unfortunately they charge $7.99 for a small cup size! It is very good so I'll get it only sometimes and they do offer it as a side to the sandwich, but then you can't get the fries - the dilemma. I can't speak to the ambiance in the restaurant itself because we always get to-go, but it feels very homey and the staff are always warm and nice, I'm sure that translates to their serving services too. If you're craving greek food, definitely check out Bada Bing Grill.

The Middle Eastern food is really good, especially for an area lacking in diverse restaurants. We especially like the gyros plate, it's a great deal for the price! Atmosphere isn't the best but it's fine. Definitely worth a try

Not listed online but the dolmades plate has meat in the dolmades/dolmas, beware vegetarians! Lol
Emina S.

Friend and bf wanted to order from here and the delivery arrived in great condition. Super crispy, well seasoned fries. Those were addictive. Fresh Greek salad, nicely toasted and hot pita pouches. Green beans and rice in the Dolmas plate were delicious and perfectly cooked. Friends greek chicken salad was huge! They both enjoyed the pizza as well. Reason for 3 stars: Not labeling meat items better on your menu. I ordered the Dolmades/Dolmas plate, and typically they are vegetarian. If not, that should be noted. These had some kind of meat filling. That wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu or under the entree description (and I looked multiple times before posting this) so I spent $20 to have a bowl of rice, green beans, and side salad as my entree (as the soup that also comes with this meal is not vegetarian friendly either.) I'm also slightly pissed as I've been pescatarian for a few years now and though I am someone who doesn't care about beef stock in my french onion soup or taking bacon accidentally added to a salad off, their carelessness could really go against someones personal or religious beliefs when they take a bite of this lamb or beef-filled item. The menu is all over the place with no real veggie or pesc. friendly mediterranean options to be seen so I am happy to have tried them out once, but nevaaa again EDIT: Deleted what I had previously added here. +1 star for the thoughtful message the owner took his time to send off of here.

Ask the Community - Bada Bing Grill

Do they use a real Gyro meat "cone" or do they use pre-spliced frozen meat?

Yes they do. It's called a spit. It's the way I like my gyros. This place is a hidden gem and a must try!

Does anything you have on the menu have nitrates or msg?

Likely

Many more had shown up here before we left, however. As it was happy hour, we tried three different appetizers: falafel with hummus, dolmas, and harissa carrots. All were delicious and ended up being rather filling. My wife and I both had the lamb gyros, while my daughter had the chicken shawarma. While the dishes didn't appear to be a huge amount of food, they ended up being plenty. Everything had really nice flavor. As it was my wife's birthday, she got the free baklava for dessert. My daughter and I both thought it was fantastic...maybe one of the better baklavas we've had in a long time. My wife thought it was fine but has had other versions she'd liked better. Service was quick and strong from the start. All food came out surprisingly fast. We'd come here again if on/near Tennyson Street and in the mood for a good Mediterranean experience.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the price differential between these two items is about $5 and instead of itemizing our receipts, our waiter just split it in two, overcharging my friend and undercharging me. It seemed very incongruent to the rest of our otherwise excellent experience here.

The order process online went smoothly and the food was ready promptly. I was disappointed by the gyro and ended up not eating it. For the uninitiated, a gyro sandwich is a pita bread filled with gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and sometimes lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The meat is made of a blend of seasoned lamb and beef meat molded around a vertical spit. The spit rotates and the outside is exposed to a heat source. As the meat broils, the chef carves off slices or chunks from the sections that have browned. Typically the gyro meat is cooked to "well done." The meat in my gyro was not browned; rather it was lighter colored and had a mealy mouthfeel. I've eaten gyros in traditional Greek restaurants and casual eateries in Chicago, Austin, San Francisco Bay Area, and now Denver, and this was the first time I've tasted the meat cooked this way. Three stars because the restaurant looked well kept and reasonably clean, the service was polite, and it's possible other people are not bothered by manner of preparation of the gyro. I also ordered a side of hummus and it was good.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. Prices are very reasonable. We shared the Baba Ganoush to start. This is pureed, baked eggplant. Here tahini and pomegranate molasses were added. I am not a big eggplant fan, but this was phenomenal. The presentation was gorgeous with the puree spread out beautifully on a large dish, topped with olives, paprika, parsley, and a very generous dollop of delicious olive oil. An outstanding version of this dish. We received a large plate of very fresh pita triangles to go with the baba ganoush. These were great. We definitely used them to scrape every speck of eggplant off that platter! We both ordered the Gyro Plate. The gyro meat was very authentic, extremely tender, and very flavorful. The plate included a large tower of savory rice, a rich tzatziki sauce, a nice side of silky hummus, some pickled vegetables, and more pita. Another delicious offering and a huge portion. We also had soup as the entrees come with soup or salad. My friend tried the lentil soup and said it was flavorful and tasty. I had the tomato soup which was hardy and richly-flavored. This was a great meal. There's a pastry case with a choice of many Middle Eastern desserts. My friend selected several to take home and we staggered out of the restaurant with lots of leftovers that will make a delightful lunch tomorrow. A wonderful experience.

I was torn but left my choice up to the bartender recommendation for the main, augmented with falafel. I was not disappointed. If you get stuck just flip a coin and it'll probably work out. If anything the worst part is the shopping center where the nearby stores throw you for a moment before you commit to the eclectic variety bar. Their interior decorations are a ridiculous blend of whatever holiday they have left up, and a death or 70-80s heavy metal bar. It is whimsically metal? Hard to even compare it, it works. We arrived for an early dinner on a weekday so things were pretty calm; good given the size of our party. I can't say it was the best old fashioned I'd ever had, but our hummus, fries mushrooms, and babaganoush were all tasty. For dinner I opted for a gyro (came with fries) and cleared my plate.
