What a pleasant surprise this place was - good food and great service! I randomly stopped here one day in need of a quick dinner - and the food was delicious! Spanakopita - phyllo was nicely browned on the outside, but just a touch undercooked inside. Dolamades entree - huge portion that came with salad and soup. Interesting tomato beans on the side. Bada Bing has been on our "to try" list for a long time and last week we made our first (takeout) visit. Here's pretty much everything you need to know. First, it's not necessarily difficult to find, but it's also not in an obvious, commercial location - on 58th west of Ward Road in the first floor of an office building with not much around it. If you're not familiar with that part of Arvada, GPS will take you right to it. It does not appear that they are open for dine-in at this time but online takeout and delivery ordering are available through their website or the Yelp app/GrubHub. Our order was ready at the designated time and when we arrived a staff member met us, asked our name and brought out our order which was generally well packaged. A few earlier reviews suggest that they may have been somewhat lax re COVID precautions, but at least the staff member bringing our order was gloved and masked. Their website gives every indication that they do care and are working hard to provide good service in a challenging time. The top of the website reads: "ORDERING ALERT! Please Read. COVID-19 has caused us to make some changes with the way we normally would do business" and they go on to list those changes. And their final sentence gives great advice for us all in stressful days: "Please be nice. We are all doing our best we can under the circumstances." The menu emphasizes Greek and Italian with appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, Greek entrees, sides and desserts. We had the pepperoni and sausage calzone ($10.49), souvlaki sandwich ($9.99) and Greek burger ($9.99). All were very good but the Greek burger pretty much takes it from good to awesome - 1/2 pound burger with sauteed spinach and Feta cheese, Greek herbs, lettuce, tomato and red onion. Here's a tip - choose the Greek salad for your side and then order a side of a basket of fries to share ($4.99). Our second visit will definitely not take as long as our first, And our third. And our fourth. Definitely want to try the gyro. And the pizza. And the Italian sausage sub. And the meatball sub. It's entirely possible that I might just become a regular. read more

These guys have it going for them. Greek and Italian....and it works. Been there 3 times now and they have a great Italian Sub, really good Gyro Salad, but today, I decided on the Bacon Cheeseburger. It's a half pound burger with bacon, cheese and your standard veggies. Add some fries and it's only $9!! When was the last time you had a burger so hot, you burned your mouth on the first bite? The burger was cooked to order and the bacon was even hot. I can't remember the last time I had a good old fashioned burger, and went to a Greek/Italian Restaurant to get one!!! Bomb! read more

I recently ordered take out from Bada Bing after a long break and unfortunately, this place has gone downhill a bit. The gyro was super greasy and both the gyro meat and pita tasted dried out, as if they had been cooked earlier and sat out all day. When I walked in, I saw a lot of teenagers and no one who looked to be in charge. I think at this point, I'm going to look for other Greek restaurants in the area, because this place has been sadly disappointing. read more

Note. NO menu deviation! I have been coming here for years, and for good reason. The food is some of the best in town! Most recently we were looking forward to a club sandwich for dinner. When we asked for vegetables on the side, we were told we don't do that any longer. The cost of the container is too much. Ok, can we at least sub swiss cheese? No, can't do that either. So, we opted for another restaurant. Wasn't sure if the owner knew about this so I called the next day. I spoke to him and come to find out it's "his" policy. In all fairness the owner Paul is a reasonable gentleman. He simply explained that when a lot of special orders off the regular menu came through, simple mistakes occurred which lead to guest complaints. Totally understand that. Not to mention its basically just family there so when he get's slammed with business he wants to be able to take care of everyone. I would certainly take his position as far as expensive specialty pizzas or with a dinner entrée, but I'm scratching my head with a sandwich or a gyro order. Either way, I know where he's coming from, but you should know as well. Will I continue to eat here? Not sure yet, but I do understand his dilemma. read more

The Gyros are real & proper and well done, not the garbage from a styrofoam tray (said with Greek ancestry). The pepperoni calzone was good with a toasty, not just bread-y, crust. And still Bada Bing Grill would get two stars if it weren't for being in a pandemic. They missed several parts of the order (I paid for them on my DoorDash receipt) the tzatziki is a little rough (gelatinous and packed with more dried seasonings than flavor). The ranch is the sort of thing that all of your friends who "don't like ranch" are talking about. Chicken gyros are dry, have no flavor, and the "lettuce" is more like garnish. Also, this may be my fault, but even if a Greek sandwich doesn't say "feta" in the description, if you are Mediterranean you know there must be feta. There was NO feta. I added my own to our sandwiches and ended up picking it out so as not to waste the flavorful part of my dinner. Also, yes, I know, this stuff is not traditionally eaten as a sandwich but if you are an old Greek, when did you not have FETA?!?!? read more

Bada Bing Grill is a place Iv tried twice now the first time was the regular Gyro and fries which was great bit a bit salty for me. Not sure if the meat is always supposed to be that way here but it was just more than I'd prefer. Good chunks of meat and then fries are pretty average. This time around though I choose the chicken Gyro and it did not have that problem I'd say hands down its my favorite Gyro. Really light and refreshing also a good portion. I went with the fries again and they were pretty standard. I'll have to try the salad next time. For what you are getting it's definitely worth the price. They also deliver and do pick up orders. I'll be trying other things and getting pictures hopefully I find the combo that I fall in love with. I recommend this place. read more

I have had some Gyro sandwiches here before and the Gyro bowl and both were very good. Last night I decided to reward myself and I got the Gyro plate which was expensive $24 with tip. I got it home and it was the most disgusting mess I've eaten in a long time, the meat was all dried out and curled up and barely edible. The green bean tomato mess was awful. The rice was OK and the soup and salad were good. I couldn't believe I paid that much for a meal I could barely eat. I ate some of the meat The green beans I couldn't even stomach. I ate the salad and the soup and some of the rice and threw the rest away. Worst meal I've had in years. read more

Wasn't impressed especially since they have a sign that makes fun of people that eat Gluten free. It's not like it was my choice to become gluten free and I would much rather not have to be gluten free, but the last thing I need is to see a sign making fun of a person that has a serious health problem. I honestly haven't even tried the food that I ordered from here yet, but my experience has already been atrocious. I paid for 2 orders of the pita and tzatziki sauce, which explicitly stated that it came with tomatoes and red onions. I put in my order, and waited for it to arrive. The delivery driver arrived promptly, was kind, and left. I went to check my order, and behold there were no onions or tomatoes in the box. So I called the restaurant to tell them this, and the employee just flat out told me that I'm wrong. When I read him exactly what it says on the menu, he stammered, put me on hold, and then put me on the phone with the owner. The owner said that the description on the menu was 2 years old apparently...and that they are a "small mom and pop operation". Well none of that really helps my situation. So he then asked me what I want him to do about it, to which I replied that it would be nice if they sent out the tomatoes and onions that were advertised. He scoffed and said, "Well what? Do you want me to send you a whole tomato and you can just slice it yourself?" He also said that I'm 5 miles away which is REALLY far away...?? Seriously? He then proceeds to tell me that they have only one driver working tonight. So I said, "If it's a big deal, don't worry about it." to which he abruptly says, "We'll you're kind of making it a big deal sooo, yeah. Don't worry about it, we'll get it out to you." I tried to tell him to seriously forget about it, especially if he's going to be such a douche. But he hung up on me...So now I'm waiting for tomatoes and onions...We'll see if that actually comes to fruition though. Update: They did in fact bring the tomatoes/onions. But funny enough, a different delivery driver dropped them off...that seems odd since they said they only had ONE working. Seems like the owner was intentionally trying to guilt trip me... Oh well! I am really impressed with this place. I saw the website, and the statue out front and my first question to the owner was, 'Is this a chain'? He said, 'Far from it'. Which I was relieved to hear. I told him I was impressed with his logo, the website, etc, and thought that it was a chain because of that. It looked very professional. He told me he had been in the restaurant business for 25 years, so he had a lot of experience. Food was good, I had a Gyro salad. My friend who joined me had the Greek salad. There was a few more people who came in an ordered Calzones, which also looked and smelled amazing. I am definitely planning on going back. They do most of their business (90%) with take out and delivery. I won't hesitate to call them to my neighborhood if I ever want to get delivery. They have a smaller dining area, not good for huge groups, and a small patio area on the side as well, which would be great on a nice warm day. This is not a 'fast food' joint, but has a bit of that feel, since you place the order at the counter. The kitchen is right along side the dining area, so you can watch them prepare if you wish. Yelp suggested this place awhile ago. I asked a coworker about it because I knew he likely had been there (he eats out a lot) and he confirmed it was good. I have been twice now within 7 weeks. Both times I have gotten the Gyro with fries. The fries are heavenly, cooked to perfection and the rosemary seasoning is delicious and memorable. The gyro blows away any gyro I've had here in CO! The meat is amazingly flavorful and there is no search efforts on the meat, this this is packed with it. The Tzatziki sauce compliments both the fries and gyro perfectly. The service is exceptional, they even delivered my order to my car today, they're still under COVID restrictions so only offering delivery and take out. read more

I ordered a gyro for pick up from the business's website and have a pickle allergy, no where on the menu did it specify having pickle with the lamb gyro. It leaked all over the gyro and fries making the whole meal inedible. When I called back to get a refund I was told they had to deal with real actual issues and were trying to close (by the owner) and that my issue wasn't a real issue. Good food especially for the price point. I enjoyed the gyros, mine were thin and slightly crisp yet still juicy and delicious. The pita was soft and perfect in texture. The cucumber sauce was a bit thinner than my own personal preference but it was still very flavorful and yummy. (I'm not even going to attempt to spell it, I always butcher it!) The fries were what you'd expect from a joint like this but they did doctor them up with a few Greek herbs. I look forward to trying another side item like the salad or soup. Next time.
