Black hair in the middle of my wrap - Meat, 2 Eggs, Cheese
    Rach C.

Officially, I'm never going back. I've been going to Bagel Basket for YEARS out of convenience. Today, however, sealed the deal. I paid $30 for a breakfast wrap & a turkey hero for my long work day on the 4th of July. I get back in the truck to head to work. I begin to eat my breakfast wrap, and something gets stuck in my teeth, but then I bite through it. I open up the wrap, and there's a long black hair. I'm very grossed out because I have blonde hair. I'm posting a photo of my wrap as well as my hair. Make your own opinion.

Not a bad little shop on the inside. Has a good seating area as well. The bagel and cream cheese was good as well. The one concern I had here was all the flies in the cabinets. They did wrap the food in there, but it was a bit much for me.

    Turkey, cheese, lettuce and mayo

My colleagues and I order lunch from here once a week. We've been doing so for years. This past week we've notice that all sandwiches and wraps had barely any meat or salad on them. This has never been the case. I then went once more a few days later and ordered a turkey, American cheese, lettuce and Mayo on a roll. They charged me almost $12 and when I opened it there was barely any meat. I am so completely disappointed. The bagel basket seems to be cutting corners where it counts. I over heard another customer send there sandwich back as well to add more. I will not be ordering from here anymore. This was my sandwich. More lettuce than anything.

Ordered a toasted bagel with lox and cream cheese. I got a bagel that's burnt and hard to eat. Make sure you guys check your bagels before leaving. My morning was ruined.

This place is solid. He hungryman is good and also the paninis are not bad. The chicken was not dry like most panini sandwiches.

I was planning on leaving then. I was a waiter once for many years, so I get it.. the tough, long hours. Some waiters have 2nd jobs.. The glares and side talk I received was so unnecessary. Again, I priorly asked the hostess and waiter if it was okay I sit for 20 min. Before they close. I feel like I want to puke now. Idc about professional service, or whatever it's called. I communicated that I would've found another place if they just told me that they're not taking sitters. Not nice. Never returning again. Edit: The reason why I felt like puking was because I was glared at while feeling bad about scarfing down my meal faster than I anticipated. Someone from the joint reached out (I presume the manager?).. said he witnessed it all. What a joke. -1 star

Jeanne waited on us. She was extremely friendly outgoing and kind. She answered any of our questions about the menu and made some drink suggestions. Our food was served very quickly and the portions are huge. My son had a hungry man burrito and I had the Mac and cheese short ribs. I took home my Mac and cheese short rib and I am on my 3rd attempt at finishing it! My son's burrito was so large I wasn't sure how he was going to get that in his mouth. He was able to eat most of it. The home fries were nicely prepared and seasoned well! Our drink glasses were never empty. I watched the staff and they were constantly engaging with customers. You felt like you were visiting a friend's home. I watched them celebrate someone's birthday, greet regular customers and every customer was given a warm acknowledgment. This place deserves all the hype it receives and I'm sad it has taken me so long to try it!

They asked for drink orders and we were left alone for a long time until the drinks arrived. Though we were ready to order, the server just dropped off our drinks and went to bring another table upstairs. I went down to the counter to get someone to take our order, and it took nearly an hour before our order was in (and even then, they took the order of the second table before taking our party's order). It was almost an hour and a half since we entered the restaurant when the food finally arrived at our table, and then it took so long for someone to come with our check and process payment, we went down to the counter to do it. During this time, another family was seated upstairs and left due to not being attended to. This caused big delays in our day and I had to cancel an appointment because we spent over two hours at this restaurant when we didn't want to. That said, food was good. I got the lemon blueberry pancake, which was a little bit gummy but mostly tasted fine. My brother got the mangu, which is kinda hard to find around here, let alone on the menu of a breakfast brunch restaurant. It was my brother's first time having it, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Besides him choosing scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs, it was very classic mangu breakfast. The real crabmeat omelet was another hit-- crabmeat was so real there were little pieces of shell lining-- really ambitious and deliciously executed. The menu is really fun and the food was overall good. Again, I think the very slow service wasn't on purpose and it's because they didn't anticipate such a large crowd on a Friday, but I would say run if they try to seat you upstairs and you're the only ones up there. Be prepared to wait for a long time if you want the reward of nice food.

Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain the day before, the patio wasn't set up. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our waitress, Jordan, was patient and friendly, which made the experience even better. Since it was our first visit, they treated us to a free stack, and the seasonal option was the Peach Cobbler Pancakes. We also ordered the Benedict Arnold, Biscuits and Gravy, Early Riser with two eggs our way, a Banana Nut Latte, and an Espresso Martini. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the Espresso Martini definitely packed a punch! At the end of our meal, they brought out a tiny Sprinkle Stack with a candle and sang Happy Birthday to my boyfriend. It was such a sweet surprise and honestly made the outing feel extra special. I'm definitely recommending this location. The food was delicious, but the kindness and customer service really stood out. They helped turn a rainy-day breakfast into a memorable birthday adventure!

There were toddlers and preschoolers in the restaurant with their families, so I asked the waitress to please change the channel. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me that she didn't understand what my problem was. I explained that there were graphic photos of people and crime scenes that aren't suitable for children, or really anyone else trying to enjoy their meal. That issue non-withstanding, I still don't think Over Easy is worth choosing over Hatch or Munday's. The wait for us was 20 minutes, which is the same for pretty much every other place in Huntington. It's also very small, so as a result the tables are extremely close together. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with waitstaff passing through very frequently on both sides. We had to constantly tuck ourselves in and watch our backs to avoid getting an elbow in the face. Our food tasted alright, but there were several issues. We both got variations of eggs benedict. I got the avocado BLT benedict, with avocado, tomato, arugula, bacon, and hollandaise on top of ciabatta. It tastes good, and I especially liked how orange and healthy the poached egg yolk was. However the ciabatta was pretty badly burnt. My boyfriend got the "classic" eggs benedict, which was served over toasted sourdough bread. This bread was ridiculous, over an inch thick and impossible to cut through without shaking the table and making a crummy mess. I would've thought the classic eggs benedict would be eggs with Canadian bacon over an English muffin; this one was just not the best.

The store itself was very clean.
