It was a sweltering 93 degree day, and I walked to order a simple lunch here. Oh and I needed caffeine. As I walked in I found it so quaint. I went up to the counter and found a beautiful soul. I spoke to her letting her know about my food allergies. I asked her about the bread ingredients and she so sweet and very patient. I grabbed a coffee, bottles of water and soda / pop. She knew I was at the local hotel, she asked if I was going to walk back and I said yes. She said no you are not. I have to go get gas, I'll take you. I said no, not to worry. I grabbed the heavy bag and remembered the heat. I said, I'll pay you. She wasn't having it. She drove me back to the hotel. I learned that she is the owner! Several people that came after me got their food before, and what normally takes 3-4 min, took almost 12. Plus my order had to be remade because the lady prepping it accidentally toasted the bagel.
