A genuinely good bagel, well seasoned, with great texture. Got a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese. They also make their own roast beef, so that will be my goal next time I visit is to try that. Good place to sit down and enjoy a quick breakfast.

Ordered breakfast for 10 delivered. Delivery person was very pleasant. Bagels and rolls were good! Hot sandwiches were all sloppy and very greasy, and they forgot the eggs in the egg sandwiches! French toast, turkey bacon, and sausage patties were are moderately charred! Based on this experience, next time I'll stick with bagels.

I swear by Hot Bagels in Fair Lawn, but this place is better because the bagels are delish and additionally they do hot food and cold sandwiches to. Prices are great. Bakers dozen $12 Variety of Burgers $7.50 Selections of Wraps $8.50

One of the things I miss most about living in NJ (well besides all the great people) is the BAGELS!!!! Bagel Culture is my go to spot to get bagels whenever I am in the area. I always bring home a dozen to freeze so I can enjoy them long after my visit to NJ is over, and they stay very well in the freezer. I have tried a variety of the different cream cheese spreads and bagel types and all of them have been delicious. The shop has been pretty busy every time I have gone, but service is always fast and there was only one time when they had run out of the type of bagel I was looking for. The shop is small, and is more of a take-out place, but there are a couple tables for those who want to eat in. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit if you are a bagel lover! They also have a gluten free option for sale.

I work in Ridgewood and I usually go to a bagel place in town right before work and this time I decided to stop here to try it out because it's right on my way and it's fairly new, the location is good it has parking and they take cards and cash, no Amex though. They also have this thing you can text your order ahead which I think it's pretty cool and convenient. So I decided to order a roll with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and a bit of mayo. Can you guess how much? $7.52! I'm sorry but that is way over price, I know Ridgewood can be a bit pricey but I've been to plenty of bagel places around here for about 3 years and never has it been more then $5 dollars. It's ridiculous, I was so shocked. It's not like it was a combo or anything. I will def not be going back, I rather go to the other places that the rolls are much bigger and I get more for my money.

The food was fresh (how did they find a flawless avocado in the middle of winter???) and the flavors delicious. The service was outstanding -- weekend brunch was packed, and they put your name on a list in case you want to walk around town while you're waiting. Don't go too far, because somehow they're able to move the tables without making folks feel rushed. Each person we encountered -- the host, the folks at the counter, our server -- was nicer than the last. I got a bowl that had slightly cooked spinach, poached eggs, sweet potatoes and that GOHgeous avocado I mentioned above. One thing I really liked about this bowl is that it didn't have rice in it -- something that would've made it too overwhelming. This was the perfect combo and portion size. Someone else in our small group got the avocado toast (more avocado!!) and also said it was excellent. Definitely plan to return!

The interior of the restaurant was so nice, modern and well lit. There were outdoor seating area available as well. Other than street parking, they also had free parking spots at the rear side of the restaurant. We ordered the egg benedict, steak and egg, and pancake stack. They were served within a short time. Overall all the dishes were good. Steak was cooked well. But the pieces were thick. I wish it had more flavor. The chimichurri sauce on the steak saved the dish. Pancakes were fluffy and little sweet, my daughter liked it. The service was decent as well. Both the owners (father & son) were present at the restaurant, helping out rest of the staff. One of them stopped by our table to check on our dining experience. Overall we had a wonderful brunch time here.

This place is popping, and for good reason. The servers are quite attentive and always present so it's not hard to flag someone down if you need something. I noticed they were also quick to clear trash (like straw wrappers) from the tables frequently. The food is also really good - i recommend the k-chicken & waffles and the lemon ricotta pancakes w blueberry compote. They also have lots of fun drinks (both coffee/tea-based and fruity refreshers). Parking might be a bit difficult but if you're lucky you might find an open spot on the street right outside. Otherwise, there's a lot nearby as well.

We had several servers handling our order. To start, I had a hot tea with honey. The honey was an interesting consistency and was not as thick as expected. Seemed to be a little watery but the taste was good when mixed in my tea. For appetizer, we split the Crispy Ddukbokki which were sweet & spicy crispy rice cakes with a side of a soft boiled egg, topped with everything seasoning. We both really enjoyed the flavor of these rice cakes. For my main course, I had the Rainbow Salad with grilled chicken. The portion was very good and all of the veggies in the salad were super fresh. The presentation was very pretty. Parking can be a bit tricky but luckily we were able to find parking on one of the side streets. Overall a cute little breakfast/brunch place in the Glen Rock downtown. It does get very busy on weekends so reservations are a must.

When we sat down, the server brought a small bowl of complimentary popcorn, which was a welcoming touch. My nephew ordered the short rib benny and he cleaned off the plate. He thought it was a savory bomb. I had him try their horchata, which was his first time trying, and he loved it. I ordered the Thai chicken salad. I like that they use Goffle Road chicken and it came out nice and tender. The veggies were fresh and good quality. I also thought the portion size was perfect. I asked for the dressing on the side and the dressing came in two small cups. One seemed to be a mix of soy and oil, I think there was a bit of sesame oil too. The other was a creamy dressing. I was expecting, nutty, sweet and savory dressing, but it was kind of bland mayo like dressing. The dressing would have also benefited from acid like lime juice. While I liked the salad, the dressing was a let down, so I'm not sure if I would order that dish again, The service was wonderful, everyone was smiling and our server was attentive. I would definitely try again and next time, looking forward to trying some of their brunch/breakfast dishes.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ PHENOMENAL FOOD!!!!! ++++ Miso Marinated Salmon - Was absolutely delicious. Salmon was cooked perfectly, wasn't dry and still moist. The citrus scented wild rice was excellent too. ++++ Truffle Burger - Honestly, one of the BEST burgers I've had in a longggggg, longgggg time. Everything was perfect about it - the caramelized onions, gruyere on top, bacon, truffle aioli, and, of course, the burger itself. The patty was dripppping with juices with every single bite and cooked to medium excellence. Oh, and those truffle fries that came with it? To die for! Loved the thinness of them and there was PLENTY of it to go around. ++++ Kids Macaroni & Cheese with Fruit - Relatively simple, but the creamy kind of mac and cheese. Kids absolutely loved it. The fruits were just grapes and a few little slices of pineapple, which we would have liked a bit more of. ++++ Kids Cheeseburger and Fries - Burger was DEFINITELY, without a doubt cooked well-done. It was a bit on the tiny side, but we still split it between the kids. Once again, fries were fantastic and there was more than enough to share. ++++ Banana-Rama Smoothie - Strawberry, banana goodness. Could definitely tell this was not artificial from the "true" flavor of the smoothie. It wasn't super sweet. + Service was very good throughout the evening. ++++ Food came out shockingly fast and fresh. ++++ Our waiter was friendly, on point and came by to check on us a few times. + Plenty of space inside of the restaurant, including an outdoor-indoor tent that is heated. + Decor was modern and contemporary, very clean inside. + Ambiance for dinner was dark and intimate, which caught me off guard because I thought it would be more casual, but perfect for group gatherings still and casual dine-ins. + PLENTY of parking in the large lot in front and to the side of the restaurant, which is shared within a little strip mall. + They take reservations online. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada! MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada! RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Dined from 5:45 - 7:15 PM on a Friday and most of the evening crowd was older and there weren't many families with kids. There were maybe 2-3 families with kids, but they left by 6:15 PM. Most of the groups were groups of 4, seemingly catching up during a nice meal. CONCLUSION -------------------- = I was pleasantly surprised by the experience we had here. I figured this would be a super casual Friday after work/school dinner with the fam, but this turned out to be one of the best meals we've had in North Jersey in a while. Food, service and ambiance here was excellent. Wish they had .5 stars on Yelp because Saddle River Cafe is as close to perfection as it can get at 4.5 stars!
