This is my favorite bagel place IN THE WHOLE WORLD. The bagels are a beautiful marriage of chewy on the outside, moist and doughy on the inside. I don't even bother with cream cheese or other toppings; it would spoil the bagelly perfection. Oh and another shoutout to Eunice! (Thanks Eileen R. for asking her name... every time I go in, I'm so light-headed from the impending bagel bliss that I forget to ask. Rude, I know.) She is so sweet, and she always remembers me and my family even though I am in town only a few times a year. Plus she works on Thanksgiving and Christmas, when every other store in town is closed. The best bagels period. As good as any NY bagel shop. Fresh. Eunice is always friendly and accommodating. I look forward to coming here every time I'm in the area. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that they don't post their pricing. I never know how much the bagels are or the cream cheese prices. That would be nice. read more

Bagels are good nothing to write home about. The pricing though to me is what gets me. I get charged a different price every time. The latest was 5$ for a sandwich with just egg and hash brown when the day before I paid 3$. However it is a very nice environment and friendly people. read more

After years of going there and getting charged different prices I will no longer go there. They finally posted their prices and was charged $5.50 more than what was posted. When questioned the owner became defensive and said sign was incorrect/I didn't know how to read the sign. Food is great but I don't like paying "market price" for a breakfast sandwich. read more

My son has renamed Bagel Delight to "The Rainbow Store" because of the rainbow bagels and their exciting display of character cookies. Most of all he looks forward to talking to "the nice lady", Eunice! Personally, I love an egg and cheese on ANY bagel. Today I had the salt bagel and it was divine! Bagel Delight's bagels rival some of the best of Brooklyn. Their veggie cream cheese is fabulous. Every lunch sandwich that I have ever eaten has been absolutely delicious. This place is my favorite bagel place. There's a place up in Rochester called "bruegger's bagels" but their bagels are small and whimpy compared to the ones at bagel delight. They're big and fluffy. Unice, who works there, is also a wonderful person and sometimes slips us free bagels. All the people who work there are great. read more

The best bagel shop around. Even with a long line you are in and out quickly. The salt bagels could probably use a little more salt (maybe put some on top as well as the bottom?) but if that's my only complaint then you know this place is good. read more

First time there this morning. Do not order jalapeño cream cheese. All it is is PLAIN cream cheese with a bunch of jarred jalapeños on top of the plain cream cheese. It's pretty much a jalapeño sandwich with cream cheese as a condiment. Bagel itself was okay. Once you try bagelicous in Cheshire it will ruin ever other bagel for you out there read more

I'm giving this 4 stars for the bagel sandwiches we had. Creative menu and very tasty. Also the owner was wonderful. So nice the service was amazing. I almost lowered my rating because of the cookies though. They don't make them and you can tell. They had many different kinds in a case (Dora, smiley face, etc.) and the kids begged for them. They were horrible. Any time a kid doesn't finish a cookie you know they aren't good. Please make a different decision on your baked good. They need to be as good as the bagels to complete the experience. read more

Went to bagel delight for first time on New Year's Day. Service was slow. Servicer's handle food and money without using gloves or pretending to use tissue paper. I'm sure this breaks more than one food handling regulation. We threw bagels out after leaving store. Will never go back read more

Stopped here based on proximity to Highway as traveled south. Did so hoping high reviews were correct. We got 2 toasted bagels with cream cheese and an egg and cheese. Everything was average tasting. Better than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts for sure. In case other travelers are reading, there are no bathrooms, but there are gas stations in close proximity. read more

I just moved to Newtown. My wife and I missed the bagels in Westchester and I went to Bagel Delight for a sample today. I bought six and was presented with about a dozen more as a newcomer gift. The bagels spread with cream cheese were excellent. I tried two flavors of bagels just now and the multigrain was extra special. Seeds on top and bottom. Thanks so much. Now I feel at home. read more
