    Burnt Bagels
    S W.

On our last day, living in Mashpee, we decided to give BH one more shot, before we left town. Two bagels, cream cheese on the side. That's all. And we got burnt bagels. Ugh. Sunday, Oct. 17th @ 7:15 am. No time to call, or drive back, to get things fixed. And really, why should we? Plain and simple. Don't hand burnt bagels to your customers in the first place.

Still the best spot in the area for breakfast. Best service and hardest working staff in the area. Fresh bagels and muffins and great iced/hot coffee. Summer time and weekends can create a wait but it's worth it. They accept credit cards but it's a small local business so use cash and don't be a douche and leave them a tip as they work their butts off every morning. The cry babies before complaining about price and cream cheese and a bagel being toasted? Stay home and make your own. It's a business not a food pantry. French toast muffins are . Bagels are always fresh and loaded w plenty of cream cheese. On a nice morning it's nice to sit out on their patio and eat and people watch.

Bacon egg and cheese $7.50!!!! Minimal bacon :(

Total rip-off!!! Inferior to Cape Cod bagel in every way. Bagels aren't as fresh. You get a teeny tiny amount of bacon. An insulting minimal amount of bacon. So you get much less and pay much more. Prices are 15-20% higher. Absolute insult. I support local businesses but not when they don't support me back. I will never go back here ever again. I would much rather drive to Falmouth.

The staff make excellent recommendations which is how I developed my love for the sausage, egg and chive cream cheese on an Asiago bagel!

Plenty of tables and seating. Clean. Although it was busy we got along service. All the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Definitely will come back next time in town.

Spend half of your toxic energy on your restaurant and it would surely improve :). The service was great, but unfortunately the food did not meet expectations. As a restaurant known for its pancakes, I was very disappointed in the quality of them. I had really high hopes for them especially as they were a major pregnancy craving, but they were not fluffy nor very tasty. I've had much better pancakes at chain restaurants or even at home unfortunately. We also got the philly steak omelet and lobster eggs benedict, which were just ok. Additionally a $6.50 side of bacon came with just a couple limp, greasy pieces. The restaurant is a little tight too and it feels like everyone around you is right on top of you. I wish I was a fan as most everyone else seems to be, but I can't get there. With so many options in the area, we'll try something else next time.

Quality is consistent and the prices are fair for what you get. It's mostly grab-and-go, which works perfectly for a quick stop on Route 149. Staff is friendly and fast even when there's a line. Open Tuesday through Sunday, 7 to 3. It definitely doesn't hurt that the lady at the counter is very pleasant and hella cute. If you're in Marstons Mills and haven't tried it, fix that.

The cookie was good but very generic, tasted like a cookie I could get anywhere, nothing special. For $4 the size was worth it but not the taste. The breakfast burrito was okay as well. It had steak, cheese, egg, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. For $10 it was pretty hefty but it should be maybe $8. What really lowered the rating was that it wasn't really a coffee shop. They only had plain iced and hot coffee, cold brew, and espresso. No flavors and you had to put the creamer and sugar in yourself. The service was quick though. Very small shop inside with what looked like a lot of options. If I lived here I wouldn't have the desire to go back.
