Bagel Me is awesome for bagel sandwiches and other gourmet breakfast items if you feel like fancying up your breakfast just a tad. They have a multitude of bagels baked fresh and a pretty good selection of coffee. There are a couple of downers about the Tustin Bagel Me, thus the 3 stars. One is the service. The food is excellent and all but don't think you're gonna get your food right away. I've tried to either beat the morning rush or try to come in right before lunch so that my wait time would be at a minimum. I might as well have gone at a busy time bc it took almost the same amount of time to get my food. On a couple of occasions the people who arrived and ordered after me received their meals before I did. I asked a couple of times where my food was, I can't tell you how "your food is coming right up" sounds when you're uberly hungry and see everyone eating around you. Don't get me wrong, the staff is nice and friendly but for whatever reason my orders never reach the bagel sandwich makers at my time of ordering. Parking is no bueno. They stopped letting you park on Newport Ave, so you're forced to making a sudden right into the preschool parking lot next door that allows maybe 8 cars comfortably or the small street just past the store. Either way, make sure you slow down when you approach Main St to avoid any rear ending. My bagel sandwich of choice - Lox and cream cheese. They chop the salmon into small bits (which is weird I thought it's served usually as a fillet slab) but still tasty. You know, the oddest - and best - item to get here, is the avocado bacon burger. It's arguably one of the meatiest, flavorful and packed burgers I've had. Unexpected because it's a bagel shop, but come here during lunch and you'll leave feeling full and thrilled because none of your coworkers followed you to this secret gem for lunch. read more

As far as I know, this was the first Bagel Me to open up. It took over the building from a kinderschool. I never visited this location because I wasn't impressed with the building's exterior appearance but decided to try their bagels today after I was hugely impressed with their bagels at the Chapman Ave. location in Orange. The interior was decent, not as bad as the exterior. I hate to say it but this one had hard and chewy bagels, which tasted more like the supermarket kind. That doesn't say much for a bagel shop that bakes their own bagels. I think I will stick with the one in Orange, which has tender bagels that sell at rapid volumes. read more

i came here because the location is close by to my house. the prices for a bagel were too expensive for the experience we had ($8-$13). the eggs seemed fake and I could not even eat more than one bite. bagels were okay but toasted too much, so it was crunchy and hard. only good thing about this place is the fresh squeezed orange juice. I was seriously disappointed in this place especially with a 3.6 star rating. won't come here again. read more

5 stars for the terrific bagels here. They are the best bagels in the area. I have only had cream cheese so I cannot speak to the toppings or any other food items. The bagels are perfect....chewy with the right amount of crunch on the outside. The place is sorta strange and the employees a bit slow. Get the bagels to go. I live in Yorba linda and I come here for work, I stopped by this place two times. The one by my house was bought out by a Avalon bagel. Anyways, the first time I came here they were so rude and wanted me to quickly decide what to order. Not to mention they don't even have a menu board up and doesn't have all the stuff other bagel me's have. After waiting a ridiculous 15 min for a bagel I come to find out it was the wrong one. Today I went again. I ordered the vegetarian. I've had it before at other locations so I know what it's supposed to look like and have in it. It was WRONG. They threw random stuff in there and this HUGE chunk of lettuce that was basically the ENTIRE bagel. I was so mad. I just paid $9 for something I didn't want. And the lettuce was old and gross. 16 MINUTES to get a bagel toasted with cream cheese. Are you kidding!?

I have been coming here for years. But the last few times the services has been terrible. I ordered food to go and waited an hour, when I asked how much longer the man said they forgot about my order and had not started making it. I was not offered any compensation for the error. Seconds later a lady standing next to complained for waiting for the same thing. They also forgot her order. If your hungry and want quick service this is not the place to go. They forget their customers are standing and waiting. read more

There are more burger joints in Orange County than you can shake a stick at. One who's name has not come up is BAGEL ME! You've got it, BAGEL ME! The finest, best tasting, hand formed patty loaded with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and a spread that will knock your shorts off! All this on a custom made bun that you can only get at BAGEL ME! Order it any way you want and that is the way you'll get it. Mine is always, medium rare with grilled onions. WOW! This burger will stand up against anything in Orange or L.A. Counties. Parking kind of sucks, so park across the street in the small shopping center or park next to Soup Plantation across the street. However inconvenient the parking is, it is, without a doubt, well worth it. You'll thank me a thousand times over for this hidden jewel. let me start off by saying don't use your credit card here becuz you might end up getting a call from your bank saying you have fraud on your card due to BAGEL ME. I don't know how all that works but i know I wasn't happy to hear that's where they got my information from....so i told myself i would only go back and use cash which i did and i must say it was the worse service i've had in yearssss....not only was i waiting 15mins for my ONE bagel which come to find out the ran out of and wouldnt have any for another 15mins the employee had me pick out another one which i did. That had me waiting another 5 mins and i finally started to walk to the counter when i over heard one of the employees complain about my bagel being out to the other employee that asked me to pick another bagel she quickly saw me walking to the counter and told the other employee that she talk her i wanted a different bagel instead.....that brings me to 20mins and i'm still waiting for one bagel.....finally about 25mins later i get my bagel start to walk out and notice my orders wrong....uuughhhhhh i walk back tell her and asked for what was suppose to be on the side on the said to open my bagel to find out the put it on it.....i was beyond annoyed and i complained to her and told her that it shouldnt take 25mins for ONE bagel and she snapped at me and told me that there was other tickets infront of mines which was a lie becuz 2 other families already had there meals......i don't think i'll be back for a while. read more

I am so disappointed in Bagel Me, Tustin. I've been coming several times a week to order toasted bagels to bring to work and because their service is so slow, I called in the order. On the phone I told the woman that yesterday the person who ordered the cream cheese bagel said it was rotten and tried scraping it off and ended up throwing it out. Her response? "Oh". So I told her they were not happy about that and I wanted to place a new order. She said "OK" no offer to make good on rotten bagel. When I went into the store I asked her will you refund the bagel order from yesterday and she said "No, no one else complained about it". So that's the benchmark people, someone else must verify your complaint and validate it before they will make good on it. She could not have tried harder to be completely bored by the conversation. I told her this goes to "good will", customers like to know they are valued. Nope, repeated same concept, no one else complained so.....NEVER GOING BACK, no parking, slow service, rotten cream cheese, rotten attitude. read more
