We have been to this Bagel Me! location a handful of times over the last year or two. But in the last month with this new ownership, I have noticed a few changes. The best change I noticed is the lowering of the prices. I was originally appalled at the price that it was for a bagel and cream cheese but when I went a few weeks ago, I noticed they were offering a bagel and cream cheese plus a coffee every Monday through Friday for 5.99. To me this felt like an intentional move to bring people back because it truly was outrageous prices for bagels before this. The only negative thing I have to say is that when I ordered my bagel with cream cheese, I waited 15 minutes for it and I could tell that they were understaffed. Previously, I have ordered ahead, but on this occasion, I did not because how long will it really take to toast a bagel and put cream cheese on it. There were people that had been waiting a really long time for their order and guests were frustrated but I will definitely be going back now that the prices are lower and the bagels are very delicious. read more

Tasty bagels with decent service. I will say that some of prices are too high but the quality of the ingredients might make it worth it. I actually enjoyed my simple bagel and it was huge. It's a chill spot to come and study, hang with friends, or just have a light breakfast before getting the day started. read more

We got some free bagels coupons from the Taste of Orange, 1 free bagel. We went and the lady there was rude she didn't acknowledge us for a bit then asked what we wanted, we were only allowed to use 1 coupon at at time and it didn't cover the cost of the cream cheese, toasting or slicing of the bagel. Our free bagel still cost us $4 because cream cheese (1dollop) was $3. We won't go back due to the rudeness and the wrongness of overcharging. Then she also wanted to be tipped. Wow! Brand new owners and it's a brand new experience! The old version was slow snd such poorly quality food but it that's has all changed. The Servie is 10000% better, the food is great and it's reasonably priced. Met the owner and he was super nice; I'll be back for sure! Gotta try this burger everyone is talking about. read more

Was in the area on a work trip as a first timer in the area, came across a little cute ambient sign that said bagel me so I thought I'd go there over a Starbucks and support this little cafe...well I paid over $8 for a PLAIN bagel with cream cheese and it was an additional $2.50 for strawberry jam (which I had to add on myself)...after placing my order the lady turns the screen that has tip amounts (which I declined) about 60 seconds later my order arrives...$8 for a 60 second bagel with a side of strawberry jam which didn't even taste homemade. So I sat down to unravel my bags to then spread on the jam myself to where I was met with a white gush of cream cheese. Took a bite...super basic and honestly tasted quite stale for a ship that just opened. Mind you at went at around 6am..but to each its own I'll probably just stick to Starbucks next time read more

My experience here was bad, and I won't be coming back. I bought a meal that was supposed to come with a slice of egg bagel. I was told that they had run out of egg bagels and that I could replace it with another bagel, so I did. They charged me for half a bagel in addition to the price of the meal, which I did not realize they would do. When I politely asked an employee about the charge for half a bagel, the employee seemed unhappy and unwilling to help me. I was told that I got charged for half a bagel because they gave me a full bagel instead of half a bagel. I didn't want a full bagel and I didn't know that they would give me a full bagel and then charge me extra for the full bagel. I told the employee that I didn't know they would give me a full bagel. The employee did not offer to help me. The food is not that good and is expensive for what it is. Even if I had not had a bad experience here, I wouldn't come back because the food is nothing special and is too expensive. Additionally, my friend's bagel was hard and tough. If you're looking for a solid bagel spot - especially if you miss the east coast - this is not it. Bagel is small in size, the inner bread consistency is not airy, cream cheese in a melted consistency which you wouldn't expect. Expensive for what you get. read more

I got the egg, jack, avocado, and tomato melt. I added chipotle sauce and it was really good! I had it made into a sandwich instead but either way it would have been great. The apples that come with the melt were good, it tasted like apple sauce but might be better a little warmer than cold. Will be back to try something else! Service was great. It's a spot in the corner. Walking distance from my house and will be back when having another morning walk. read more

Bagel Me is a very cozy and cute bagel shop at the circle of Orange. I loved their extensive menu of drinks, bagel options, and food items. I ordered their egg, jack, avocado, and tomato melt on a wheat bagel. It was really good; however, it was $16 which was a bit on the pricier side. Their ingredients were fresh and I liked the melted cheese on top of the egg. I really enjoyed their blended vanilla coffee drink. It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of vanilla and coffee. The shop actually has a lot of space and seating inside. They also have outside seating. Their service was great and the food came out pretty quickly. I'd love to come back to try more items such as their smoothies. read more

Assuming that you're paying for a five dollar bagel you would expect the place to be more cleaner. Front door was extremely dirty. Hasn't been cleaned for years and when I entered to get a bagel where they store the bagels handles are dirty. The plastic coverings are dirty and broken so much dust filthy I would never ever buy or eat from this place. Health department needs to pay them a visit service is absolutely terrible. You have to wait to get a toasted bagel with butter for 15 minutes. Do not eat here. Dirty place awful employees. read more

I haven't been here in a while and forgot how overpriced this place is. The bagels are underwhelming but they're $2.49 each. Oh, but you want that bagel run through a toaster with some cream cheese on top? That'll be 2.5x the price. $6.49 for a toasted bagel with cream cheese?! Bagel Me! seems to have priced itself among the high-end breakfast places in the Orange Plaza, but skipped the part about delivering quality and value. We love coming to Bagel me in the mornings for a yummy and quick breakfast. I really annoy their fresh squeezed OJ, too. It's nice to grab something and eat outside in the patio area and watch the circle. My husband and I usually get the cheese everything and cheese onion bagels. They are *chefs kiss* so good. You can either have them there, or you can grab some to go for your week! The staff here is very friendly and attentive. I give 4 stars because it is a little bit pricey in my opinion. Okay so 5 stars for the bagels but minus a star for everything else. The eggs and bacon that came on my open face egg bagel were just strange. Maybe premade egg and a fake tasting baked apple thing. Sadly I forgot to take photos. However, the place is called Bagel Me is the bagels were bomb and massive! The bagel chips were amazing too. I would purchase those if I went back again too. They came with my boyfriends bagel me club. Also had fresh bagel smell when you walked in and friendly staff. Honestly order the basics and you won't be disappointed. If it was advertised as something else (not bagel shop) I would probably have given 3 but seriously the bagels make it 4.5 however that is not an option. A very good experience. Friendly workers, inviting booths, excellent self serve fresh brewed tropical iced tea beckons you to come sit down and stay a while! We come here after mountain biking for our post-ride sustenance. The bagels are very good but larger and softer than typical New York bagels. I normally get a cheese everything double toasted with butter. They also have killer Irish Nachos which are great fries topped with cheddar and bacon! Everything a growing boy needs! Here is where Bagel Me diverges from a normal bagel place: this location also houses a Sugar Me sweet bakery!! OMG! They perfectly execute one of the the simplest yet frequently ham-handed pleasures known to man: the Rice Crispy Square, or in this case a Rice Crispy Brick. Made daily, it's the perfect chaser to a salty bagel. The Trinity: cereal, marshmallows, and butter. Prepared correctly it's heaven. 6 to 8 of us come here several times a month. We went here a few months ago. Bagels were not great-- the ingredients were not fresh at all and bland. The milk that was made with my boyfriends latte made him sick. The bagel was ok (cheese jalapeño bagel with egg, cheese and bacon), but my main complaint is the service. I asked the cashier how the breakfast burrito was and he said he's never tried it, which makes me think the company doesn't allow their employees to taste the things they serve (without having to pay for it). So then I already had a feeling they don't treat their employees well. He was also training someone which made me think there was a high turnover rate, and given these reviews I really do think so. BUT my main complaint is after paying $14 for a bagel sandwich, I asked for a large cup of ice and he said he would have to charge me $4 for it. I could see if I was walking in off the street but I literally just paid for food.... It rubbed me the wrong way. And I know that's coming from the owner. Customer service goes a long way!
