I had dinner plans at a friends and decided to bring an array of their single-slice cakes for dessert. Each slice was about $3 to $5. Our friends were pleasantly surprised, and funny enough, since there were 7 of us, we cut 7 pieces off each slice so everyone could get a taste. All the cakes were super delish, my favorites were the mango and double chocolate! Good customer service. Smaller location tho.

I always have a great experience. I love the choco and milk bun. I tried their Strawberry Jasmine Sea salt drink and I loved (very light and refreshing). Lots of space to sit and it wasn't crowded around 5pm. Service is great and fast .

85 has been my go to choice when I am running late for a friend gathering and I need to bring something yummy and a crowd pleasure. They offer a variety of tarts and I always grabbed those and ask they get packed in a box. It makes me look so prepared, like I planned this for weeks on end. The wait is a bit long at this location as they only have one cashier but she was very nice and doing her best to serve everyone. Casual. Indoor seating available. Please come and create your own experience.

I had an eye doctor appointment yesterday next to 85 and saw some attractive pics of their mango creations posted at the door. The Mango Coconut Smoothie looked really good so I had to try. Well, while it was refreshing, I'd say it was just ok.

their bread is amazing My favorite is milk pudding. They always have new seasonal items. The staff is always super friendly, and the place is always clean. They also have Matcha and a lot of different coffees, taro , they also even have birthday cakes Today I tried a ham and cheese. The quality of ham and cheese was delicious. I really didn't like the horseradish sauce. It was too sweet and kind of threw up the sandwich. It was like pastry croissant fell apart when you bit it because it's so flaky but definitely delicious

Everyone is a fan of this bakery. However I myself am not really. There are a lot of options for coffee, tea, and lots of milk buns along with other various pastries. I've tried a few of them when co-workers buy a bunch, but I'm just not a fan of the milk infused breads, or coffee, or tea. The cinnamon roll is good though, although for my roll fix, I go elsewhere. But that's just my specific taste.

Pls explain to me how you can charge me $5 for ice and one shot. The drinks here are horrible

Iced drinks are 98% ice. Wanna spend $5 for ice this is the place. Over and over I come here and the drinks are overpriced and most ice

I really liked: Zebra Oolong Milk Tea I liked: Egg tart Matcha Choco Bun Ham & Cheese I appreciate that the store is a bit larger than some others franchisees and all the food is prepackaged. It's easier to grab things and helps check out faster. I would still want to know if there's fresh pastries but I didn't stick around long enough to know if they still do that. Service was quick but I had to wait a while for them to restock boba straws since the workers are pretty heads down on their tasks and no one was checking to see if the straws were empty. There are a couple small tables inside and when it's not busy, you can sit an chat with a friend without the noise level being overwhelming.

The sign clearly says they close at 9pm. But at 815pm it's clear they don't want people coming in. Love the way restaurants and cafes flip chairs onto tables while they're still open. Nothing is lovier than looking at dirty chair legs, or looking at chair bottoms on the tops of tables where you place your food or drinks.

Is your business phone # working? I kept calling and it just keeps ringing. It's January 30, 2021 at 11:35 am.

Same here. I've been calling them for the last 2 days. No answer. Guess they don't want business.

    Do they have curbside pickup?

Hi Mary, Thank you so much for asking, we love your interest!…

Do we need to pre-order the 8 in. cakes or can we just stop by the store and pick one up?

They have twelve different flavors of the 8 inch cakes ( Black Velvet etc...... ) All of which can be picked up if available. As of April 29, 2019 , the price range was 30 to 33 dollars.

    Do they make custom cakes?

I don't believe so. There is nothing on their website about custom cakes. Their cakes aren't traditional simple cakes, but specialty flavors like Sea Salt Coffee Brûlée, Mango Creme Brûlée.…

Are they open!? I looooved this place when I worked in Torrance.

They are! I would be a great time to go in now before the rush of their grand opening

The cream is super smooth and filled with actual durian pulp--no artificial flavor at all. The sponge is so light and fluffy that it almost melts in your mouth, and it pairs perfectly with the rich, fruity durian cream. I already love fresh durian and durian ice cream, but this was my first time trying a durian cake, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The 6-inch cake was $68, so it's definitely a treat, but I'd happily buy it again. Just make sure to order a few days ahead. The service was amazing too. Since it was our anniversary, they added a cute "Happy Anniversary" sign to the cake at no extra charge. When we picked it up, they even reminded us to head straight home because the summer heat could affect the cake. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their cakes and want customers to enjoy them at their best. Definitely coming back to try more flavors!

Amazing bakery in the Fullerton area! Everything I had here was good and delicious…read more There were so many unique and pretty pastries to choose from from cakes to croissants. I got so many pastries. There were no misses. My favorite of the bunch was the blueberry cake. The cake wasn't too sweet, was moist, fluffy, and tasty. I enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, garlic sea salt bread, and raspberry cruffin as well. I also grabbed an egg bacon bread and regular sea salt bread to-go for future breakfasts. Warmed up, these were great in the morning! To drink I had the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was not too sweet and yummy! Good matcha flavor and the banana pudding was creamy. Mixed together, it was good. I also enjoyed the crunchy bits in there as well as the real banana slices. I got it at the small size, but the portion was generous. It went well with the pastries. There's some inside seating and tables as well as a bathroom available. There is lots of free parking around the bakery. I went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was still packed! I love how the bakers were constantly baking even in the afternoon, so they brought out fresh batches of their pastries. The variety is definitely one of the strongest points here. We tried the Matcha Cruffin, Onion Cream Bread, and Three Cheese Bagel. The Onion Cream Bread was the best of the three. The cream was light and balanced well with the bread, but the onion flavor was pretty much lost. I could barely taste it. The Matcha Cruffin was disappointing. There was matcha powder on top, but absolutely no matcha filling inside. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe or simply missed the filling in ours, but for something sold as a matcha cruffin, I expected an actual matcha presence beyond the topping. The Three Cheese Bagel, made with cheddar, cream cheese, and mozzarella, had good flavor but the texture was much too hard. We were dining in and had it warmed up, yet the bread was still tough and the cheese inside had already hardened. Service was fine, but nothing stood out. Overall, great selection and a nice space, but the pastries we tried were inconsistent.

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! As for the pastries/desserts, the custard pudding cup deserves more love! Egg katsu sandwich is good if you're looking for something more substantial.
