I recently visited Round Table Pizza and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The customer service was poor from the start--the manager came across as unprofessional and unhelpful, and the staff at the front counter seemed distracted and were not paying attention while taking orders. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect. When you combine inattentive service with mistakes in the order, it really takes away from the overall experience. I'm not sure if this location is under new management, but there is definitely a lack of organization and customer care. I hope improvements are made, as this is not the level of service customers should expect. read more

This review is for the lunch buffet I've tried a few times. It's $16.99 and a good value. It includes a refillable drink, the salad bar, and your choice of slices of various pizzas. It's all you can eat, but a salad and two slices is plenty for me. To me, the salad bar is the star of the show. I've found the pizza to be just so so. The drill is you order at the counter. You will be presented with a cup for the soft drink fountain and two plates, and off you go. The woman behind the counter has always been friendly. The dining room is pleasant. This is the third time I've come in to get pizza, and the lady taking orders is always rude and in a bad mood. She acts like she owns the place. So I haven't eaten at a Round Table Pizza since I was a kid and I must say that I like it so much now as an adult! They really improved their toppings! I didn't realized that Round Table had high end toppings but they do! I ordered a GOURMET VEGGIE pizza that came with: Artichoke hearts, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, red & green onions on a Creamy Garlic Sauce. HOWEVER - I asked them to instead just use the normal red tomato marinara sauce and I loved the pizza that way it was so delicious! I was impressed that they have zucchini and artichoke hearts and green onions since those toppings aren't usually at the pizza chains like a Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. Like I said - I hadn't realized that Round Table was more elevated. My kids loved all of the arcade games that they have at this location and they used the Photo Booth and had fun winning tickets that they "bought" a bunch of prizes with like how you can do a Boomers and Chuck e Cheese. (But the pizza is waaaaaay better here). They also have a nice salad bar. Overall, I was super impressed and will definitely eat pizza at Round Table again in the future - it makes me wish I hadn't avoided it all these years but it's really much better than the other pizza chains. read more

Lots of families and kid league players enjoying the small family style restaurant. Everyone was happy to get their pizza and play. My mother and I enjoyed the all-you-can-eat salad bar. The pizza buffet is an incredible all-you-can-eat deal, with a wide variety of pizzas and some made on-request. The thing that sets this particular location apart though is the service: the servers and the chefs behind the counter went above and beyond to make lunch here friendly, smiling and welcoming customers, calling out each new pizza brought out to the buffet, and going around checking with customers. Went there for a team event and the pizza is good. Service not so great. All the families purchased food, we bought 2 pizzas and an app and drinks and left a 20% tip that I wish I could take back. Kids dropped a $100 in the games but I heard the employees complaining about them, saying we should kick them out they've been asking for too much. As in they had to ask 4 times for ticket redemption before anyone would help them. Then a 1000 ticket win "didn't register" on my daughter's card. Rather than give her the $3 toy they made her cry. We used to order 2 XL pizzas every other week with my family. The problem is they're kind of expensive but the good part was they let you get rewards points.... well until one day they "expired" half my rewards points savings because it had been a few months until we could cash them out for a free XL. The worst part was we purposely spent 120$ the week before in order to go over the points total and get a free XL next weekend. Went to go redeem the points and they were "expired" by management team. I called and complained but we know how that goes when the person on the phone is a 17 year old. Today is Pi Day and RT HQ rolled out a deal for a personal pizza at $3.14 just for today, but the app isnt working. I live by the Irvine location and they told me they couldn't honor it if i walked in as it's only available online even though the fineprint says otherwise. First off THANK YOU Ray (Manager) for making things right. Round Table has always been my favorite pizza joint....ever since I was in elementary school and had a huge one near me. My friends and I would often get small pizzas and waste our allowance money on coin op games. Now that I'm older I like to think I have a more refined taste, coin op games were a thing of the past, so I get pizzas at Round Table 9 times out of 10, office parties and other gatherings where I have no control over is where Dominos, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut is consumed...Pieology would be an exception since it's close to work. Anyway, this review is not about the food specifically...it's for the exceptional service and AFTER service I got from management. I ordered my usual pizza and wings, half Guinever's veggie and half Chicken & Garlic with 24 bone-in sauce less wings. I was told it would take 12 minutes which ended up being closer to 30 minutes, I didn't mind too much since I gave myself 45 minutes to get off work and pick up food for the family. Upon receiving the pizza and wings, Ray popped out from the the kitchen and handed me a "VIP Pass" that's essentially BOGO free as an apology for the longer than usual wait. Didn't need it, but very kind gesture. When I got home to the family, I discovered that the wings were drenched with buffalo sauce which wouldn't be too big of a problem normally, but my daughter and wife doesn't eat anything spicy and I generally don't like buffalo sauce because of the vinegar. I was pretty pissed off and not in the mood to call them or go back, I felt like I failed my daughter who actually loves the wings and asked me to get it. My wife being a much more gentle hearted and calm person called and spoke to Ray who remembered me and apologized for the mix up... 30 minutes later we got a delivery of the wings that my daughter wanted. Ray also included two more VIP Passes for a free large pizza of my choice and 24 free wings! What a great way to keep angry customers happy. Little did he know I would've been back no matter what...but I'm definitely double, triple checking the food before walking out the door. For anyone interested in what I did with that sauced wing, check out the pictures I posted. I literally boiled the sauce off the wings twice with water and pan seared it, still too spicy for the kid and wife, but I plan to eat it all over the weekend. This is the kind of customer assurance is why Ray and THIS Round Table deserves the community's business. read more
